+ Clean, spacious room + Equipped with a working desk, dining table, and relaxing couch, in addition to the large bed + Equipped with a water kettle, basic kitchenware + Equipped with a washer and dryer, along with a laundry soap + Daily cleaning service (unexpected for an apartment) + Generous restocking of shampoo, soap, and towels + Staff was very responsive and helpful with my questions + Very reliable WiFi, never interrupted or expired, unlike the most other hotels that require daily sign-ins + SkyBuss (the airport bus) stops right in front of the property for easy access to the Hobart Airport

- Noise. The property faces a very busy street, where traffic noise was loud throughout the night. My room was one of the closest to the street, and the street noise was so loud it sounded as if the window was open. I had to use noise-cancelling earbuds to sleep. - The fridge was nearly full of items that incur a charge if used by guests, leaving very little space for the items I bought. (Since my reservation didn't include breakfast, I had to buy some food and store it in the fridge.)

The room configuration for the 3br connected apartment was great for our family group of 5. Having a full kitchen and laundry was great. The restaurant meals were delish both in the restaurant and for room service. Fantastic location easy to walk and drive anywhere.Parking was easy too. Olive, a staff member of the restaurant and bar was wonderful. Helpful with food suggestions and remembered our food choices three days later.

Loud banging noise above the queen room in room 313. We did report it to reception so hopefully they will investigate as it was loud enough to keep my hubby and I awake most of the nights we were there. Could be loose building material or an animal as it started after dusk and couldn't be heard in the daytime.

Especially liked the friendliness of all staff including cleaners. Studio apartment was larger than I expected and more than enough room for two people. Loved the spacious bathroom, with heaps of bench space for sponge bags etc. Laundry in bathroom was wonderful. We enjoyed walking to the docks and to Queens Domain from the hotel.

Minor items: a charging point at bedside tables would be useful. We had to use bathroom or floor points. Minor maintenance needed attention: light switch cover plate and the toilet roll holder were loose. Also the soap holder in shower needs to be placed where it does not hit your back while showering.

The view on 10th floor, the comfort of the King Size Bed, and the space of the room. Room was cleaned everyday for a long term 2 week stay. Hotel has an excellent restraunt and provides room service.

The view came with a price of the noisy 4 lane highway noise. The jacuzzi tub was so large and took so long to fill with water and seemed such a waste of water, which doesn't seem to be an issue here. But, the water heater worked great and the water stayed very hot. The kitchen was equipped with a very small frying pan with no lid, and there was no collandar or baking dish.

2 night stay mid week. Easy to check in and park with pre arranged parking, even though the computer system was down (quite normal for tasmania) the staff were all really friendly and helpful. Room was large and comfortable, and very quiet considering there were a number of tours at the same time. Walked to Salamanca for dinner, and also to the museum. Would have liked to have dinner in the restaurant but did have a drink in the bar which serves small snacks as well. Tip is to book parking in Hobart - this was the most accessible parking we have had, and to book the restaurant if you want to have a nice meal.

I could have stayed a few days longer, but we only had a short break. Would have liked a microwave but the room had a fridge, kettle, and toaster which was more than enough with a restaurant on site we had early shows to go to so we missed out on the times the restaurant was open.

Great location. Room was clean and cozy with a lovely big spa bath. Enjoyed the bar and restaurant area. We had a lovely meal. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Nothing to not like. The only thing that happened which was minor, our room must have been interrupted during cleaning. It was clean but didn’t have sachet for washing machine detergent,had to find towels in the cupboard and we couldn’t find any coffee mugs. Spoke with cleaning staff on the way out and they said probably still in the dishwasher. When we came back from the day’s activities the room was all perfect.

Parking was easy and convenient. Check in staff were pleasant, the vibe in the building was excellent. The apartment was roomy and had everything we needed including a well fitted out kitchen, and a washing machine and dryer. The rooms were very quiet even with the main road down below. We slept very well. The in-house restaurant was a nice surprise and we enjoyed an excellent meal. The location was excellent, crossed the road to the Museum, walked along the water and Salamanca, and even ventured up Kelly's Stairs and found our way to the Shipwright's Inn for an excellent Sunday lunch. Yes, indeed, everything was excellent.

The location was perfect for a week's break, within walking distance to everything we wished to either view or participate in. We were very surprised the room was serviced every day which is good to see if the business can afford to continue employing staff to carry out the function.

Have slept in more comfortable beds, the shower recess requires a little maintenance the door to shower in particular no seal, consequently water all over the floor, dangerous trip hazard. The fridge leaked water onto the floor. The lounge was not all that comfortable, once sitting difficult to get out of. i

I have stayed at The Old Woolstore on several occasions, and it’s always been a pleasant experience. The staff are consistently friendly and eager to assist, making every stay enjoyable. One standout feature is their room service, which is becoming a rarity in many hotels today. The mini bar is also reasonably priced, which is a nice touch. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with the bed providing a great night’s sleep. The location is incredibly convenient – just across the road from the wharf, about a 10-minute walk to the city centre, and close to supermarkets and other essentials. Salamanca is only a 15-minute walk away, making it an ideal base for exploring Hobart. Thank you to the team for always making my visits so enjoyable. I look forward to staying again soon!

Like most hotels the cost per night is becoming quite high.

Everything - staff were friendly and accomadating when needed - the location was fantastic with walking distance to everything - my husband suffers with his back and he was extremely happy with the bed. Very comfortable. -

The parking of vehicles within the complex - not enough parking and when booking online no mention about having to pre book parking. Found that we had to find a park outside of complex and pay for metered parking for 3 nights. We were not the only customers having this problem. In saying this, when we first arrrived and told that there was no parking available for our hired car as we hadnt pre-booked the staff did make allowances and organised all but 3 nights for complex parking. As a result we were happy with this.
