The host was very good at communicating with us on the day of check in and the instructions for check in were clear and easy to follow. He even allowed us to check in early and upgraded our apartment due to availability, which was a lovely surprise. The gardens and pool at White Sands are beautiful and well kept. The surrounding area has a rural feeling but it is only about a 10 min walk to get to the beautiful Porto Istana beach. I would recommend having a car if you are visiting this area as walking to murta maria would be a bit hard going in the summer. On the day of checkout, we were informed we could continue to use the common facilities at white sands including pool, parking and shower area until we needed to go to the airport. The host was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return. Oh and the air conditioning worked very well!

There are lots of mosquitos in the whole area, which cannot be avoided in a natural costal area like this...but definitely take mosquito repellent.

My wife and I arrived. We stayed in room 16. The room was large, clean and had everything you need for a stay. A family with two children can easily stay. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment and utensils to cook food, a large refrigerator. There are tables and chairs outside each room, where we had a nice time. There is nature all around and it is very quiet, calm, there are many flowers on the territory and around. But take mosquito repellent with you. The pool is warm and clean, it is pleasant to swim. The beach is within walking distance. Special thanks to Sandro at the reception. He prepared everything in advance for us, we quickly and easily checked in. Then he kindly took us further to San Teodoro. The management should give him an award for his excellent approach to customers! I highly recommend staying here!

I'm worried that if I said how good we felt at White Sand, it would make it harder for me to book here in the future. We really liked the discretion of the staff, the proximity to the pool and the beach, the quietness, the fact that the temperature was just perfect even when we had lunch on the veranda in front of our apartment, the simplicity of the place with all the necessary comfort. Sandro is an extraordinary candid and pleasant man in the interaction with the guests. I bet that every new guest bombards him with a thousand questions, but he takes all the time to answer each one with patience and passion. Sandro is one of the strong assets that White Sand has and we hope to return here as soon as possible.

Residence is very close to the sea, really just 5-6 minutes to walk. Swimming pool available, very clean and in great conditions. Parking available. Sandro was very helpful and informative.

We are family of 5 and the biggest problem was kitchen equipment (2 spoons, 3 knives, 4 plates..). As it is residence with kitchenette, there is no place in surrounding where you can go for breakfast (unless you drive to the closest village), it was quite annoying. As already mentioned wi-fi has very bad signal.

A very nice aparthotel. I stayed at White Sand for 8 days with my family. A quiet, pleasant resort on the outskirts, without any noise. Nice, clean pool with a lifeguard. You can feel at home. Sandro is a very friendly and helpful person. He can advise on restaurants, delicacies, or other things. Caterina treated us to local products, which was very nice ❤. It's a few minutes' walk to the beach. I recommend this place for those seeking peace. We will definitely return.

The host, Sandro, was really kind, sweet and helpfull. The pool is really clean and nice and the place has a nice quiet atmosphere. Well functioned aircondition in the apartment. The beach nearby is faboulous with crystalclear water and beautiful white sand. Important: You need a car to get around to restaurants and to buy groceries! Also you need to bring your own beachtowels!

One set of clean bathroomtowels for ten days of vacation is a bit on the cheap side. Should be changed more often without any cost.

Great location, very helpful and understanding host. Kitchen with many tools. Very comfortable beds. Very nice surroundings and great beach just few minutes away from the property.

I liked everything, just my recomendation for the property what could be improved - there could be kitchen towels, salt, pepper and cooking oil. Also, wifi connection was poor, but thats not a big issue, if you are on vacation.

This is a beautiful place. The pool is kept very clean and the gardens are beautiful too. The staff team are lovely And the beaches only a five minute walk away are lovely too. But go early!

Only very small details like there being no salad spinner! We chose to eat in a lot and would have really appreciated one. Other than that, all was and is good.

Swimming pool was great, local beach was stunning, the staff were really friendly/ helpful. It's quite isolated (2.3k to the nearest restaurant/ supermarket), initially we saw this as negative as we didnt have a car, however we soon got used to it and actually enjoyed the fact it was quite remote, I was happy walking to the supermarket but it's not for all and I'd probably recommend hiring a car for most people. Initially we freaked because there wasnt a kettle but again embraced that and used the italian espresso maker (coffee smelt amazing in that little thing!). The quiet 'rustic' nature of the property possibly isnt for all, but it grew on us and we ended up having an amazing stay & loved it. Definitely recommended but may not suit everyone's tastes

Local beach whilst stunning, is absolutely rammed. No BBQs possibly due to the wildfire risk, Wi-Fi was really weak

If wifi would reach into the apartment it would have been perfect since to discover the island it's necessary to check for beach locations/routes/restaurant/supermmarket locations. Luckily the wifi reached the pool area very well so we stayed at the pool many times 😁 We discovered the northern part of the island, with pacific-blue water, and beautiful beaches and nice little harbours Furthermore the host, Sandro was very helpful in facilitating our stay
