We loved our stay at Hotel Stefania. The hotel is quirky and traditional and right next to a beautiful beach. It has a lovely, well kept garden. Our room was nice and clean with a lovely view of the sea. The staff were all so lovely, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, there was plenty of choice. The restaurant is lovely with very nice staff and delicious food. There's a small supermarket just a few minutes walk away. There's lots to see and do nearby if you hire a car. The coastline is stunning, there are so many beautiful beaches. We did a wine tasting trip arranged for us by the hotel staff which was fantastic and also visited San Teodora which was lovely. We did a nice little walk at the bottom of Monte Nieduu just near the river where there's lots of wildflowers and wildlife to spot and also a lovely walk around Giants Grave of Su Mont'e s'Abe and the nearby castle ruins. I think Hotel Stefania was great value for money compared to other hotels we looked at, I'm really glad we chose to stay there !

We went out of season (mid April) and a lot of restaurants and facilities by the beaches were closed (they were just beginning to open up as we left) so we were limted for choice for lunch and dinner, but the beaches were lovely and quite !

The staff is very friendly (restaurant and reception). Clean, nice, big rooms with a sea view, very comfortable bed and good shower (with a strong water pressure). Just 2-3 min walking distance from the beach.

The location outside of the city (not easy to get there in August, very few crowded buses, very few available taxis). Not much to do in the hotel area other than the beach, the food options are also very limited. The food at the hotel (we took breakfast and dinner) was not very good. The local food dinner was nice, the other evenings we didn’t like to food. You can definitely find much better options for the dinner in Olbia.

The staff were friendly and helpful and even upgraded us to a sea view room on our arrival. They arranged car hire for us which was cheaper than booking online, very efficient service and even allowed us to drop the car at the airport on our last day so we saved money on a taxi. 2 minute walk to the beautiful pittalongu beach which has a few beach bars (mamabeach and tetto rossi were both great). Pittalongu town was very quiet though with most places not yet open for the season, which meant we were limited for dining out options. Good selection for breakfast. The restaurant served delicious but expensive food. Large room with really comfortable bed, good shower and room was cleaned everyday. Unfortunately we had rain 2 days and after that we were bitten all night by mosquitoes!

Pittalongu town was very small and quiet, we would choose somewhere busier next time. Need mosquito nets on the windows so can have them open at night. A kettle in the room would have been ideal for hot drinks.

Really frendly and professional staff, good location 15 minutes from the airport. Clean rooms, pools. The beach is 10 minutes walk from the hotel, it has a good restaurant. There is a gym. Massage, and transfer available by the reception. The hotel has the Nino’s restaurant: amazing waiters, delicious food, perfect drinks (try pina colada its the best). 10/10 worth to visit

Our room was on the ground floor next to the reception, it was a littlebit noisi you could hear everything from outside. The voice cancellation of the rooms is not so good.

The proximity of the hotel to the beach is just prefect! The personnel in hotel and at private beach is amazing. Breakfast is good and have a lot of variety. Sardinia is one of the beautiful places I have ever been and the sights from the beach are also magnificent.

Getting to the hotel from the airport or for traveling around (and to the city) can be a bit challenging and time consuming (if by a bus) or expensive (if by taxi). Thus a car is a good solution. Nevertheless, still its manageable and all the information is available in the internet and/or on different apps

It felt very relaxing from the moment we arrived. We would describe it as eclectic, welcoming and a perfect place to get away from it all. We have been in 8 destinations since arriving in Italy, our least favourite was a 5* hotel in Sorrento, super modern and full of people who were only interested in Instagram. This hotel was the same standard as that, we had booked it as a final treat on our last leg of the trip but it offered so much more!! It felt like it the owners were less worried about aesthetic’s and what looked good on social media and instead they actually cared and catered for their guests. We had the pleasure of meeting Stefania who runs the hotel and all the staff there did their best to welcome and cater for our needs. We had a lovely room overlooking the private garden and the access to the beach was perfect. It is a such a beautiful location, right next to the most stunning beach with 3 lovely little bars and restaurants and a fantastic hike around the headland that suits all levels and is great to see. We will definitely be back, maybe for a little longer next time but would not hesitate to recommend for those looking for an escape, peace and quiet and a beautiful beach.

The beach access is great. Such a comfortable hotel-feels like home. Very traditional charming look! The restaurant is great-very nice serving staff, food is traditional Sardinian cuisine. The breakfast has very good variety. The hotel is spotless and well taken care of. My daughter enjoyed the pool as well as going to the beach. Close to a small grocery store and the bus to Olbia. Great smelling soap in the room! Very happy with our stay would stay again.

Our room was great-but just like with any beach properties, sometimes there were funny smells in the room but it didn’t bother us much.

Extremely polite and pleasant staff ready to solve any problem - even picked us up when we struggled to get to the hotel due to lack of taxis. Great location, beautiful beach nearby, wonderful seaview - the photos correspond to reality. Breakfast alright, dinner exceptional. Rooms very clean (cleaned every day).

Wifi worked quite badly, a number of small charges that could have been included in the price (water in the room, beach service, dinner drinks also not free) - considering the price, booked half-board and four stars - one would rather expect it to be included. No kettle in the room. Overall 8 star rating is fair from our point of view - the disadvantages are in general rather minor; but given the price and star rating could not give a higher mark.

lovely hotel with great location, lovely decor, quite old school and beautiful painted murals. nice garden and pool area, less than 5 mins walk to the beach with some great beach clubs. free parking! really lovely and helpful staff. good breakfast but not amazing. no objection to bringing in own water/snacks etc to bedroom as have read this is an issue in other local hotels

restaurant on site was overpriced and ok at best, if you don’t have a car you are very limited as to where you can go to eat. room was nice but quite basic for the cost, beach service not open in May which was a shame as was a main reason for booking. no lunch options at the hotel bar

The atmosphere was fantastic. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was good. Location was close to the beach and some hiking.

The room was fine but an older building therefore a little cold and drafty. Room cleaning was unknown when it would happen during the day. Bathroom was small and toilet was wobbly. Found ants a couple of times. Bed needs better pillows or more of them.
