The location and size of accomodation was great. We were able to explore this area of Queensland and especially loved Crystal Creek. The kids also loved the swimming pool on site and the beach.

The smell in the property and that there were cockroaches, every day except our arrival day. We also had some issues with the lighting not working in bedroom, which they needed reminding to sort out. Not really what I wanted to be doing on holiday. The roaches were a real issue. I kept the property clean and no foods left out, bins emptied etc. I was advised they had previously had pest control out.

Everything!! More than happy with our stay, facilities amazing, and park so clean and well kept. I loved the set out of the park, providing everyone a water view, lake or ocean.. such a great idea. Kids had a ball getting around and enjoying seeing fish and eels.. then so much fun with the slide and pool, jumpy pillow! Hermit crabs on the beach and a family of turtles come in each evening. Staff most friendly that we have ever come across, and were so accommodating, we also got our 4th night free! Holiday that has been well needed, and never forgotten 40th and 50th birthdays of ours, we thankyou for that gift of the best time with our family. Memories we won't forget!!

Nothing, can't fault it

We found the location to be just perfect with the beach right on our doorstep. The swimming pool was a good and an ideal way to relax after a long day of diving. The staff were quite friendly and warned us about a recent Crocodile sighting and to use caution near the beach.

The glass sliding door was unable to be locked, it was a bit disappointing that not all cabins had a BBQ on the deck. There were a few bugs in the room, we think they were flees and have left with bites on us.

Second stay here, and it won't be the last. I love how quiet it is. It's such a great place to recharge. Staff are awesome...special shout out to Vanessa, a real asset to the place. We visited mid week this time, so it was super quiet, and we had the beach all to ourselves. They had a small problem with the water, so it needed to be turned off for 20 mins. It didn't bother us as we were having lunch at the Rollingstone Pub, but we appreciated that they sent out messages to keep guests up to date.

I didn’t like the food truck not being open on the days we were there. I completely get why but was disappointing. Another thing was we weren’t told until the day we got there that construction was happening right in-font of our cabin. Was quiet loud. The workers were very respectful of people though.

Checkin staff were very friendly, staff around the park also friendly. Location is awesome and park grounds are clean.

The pool area is a little crowded, could maybe do with another pool as there is a lot of accommodation and people in the park. Furniture on the cabin deck was rusty and left rust marks on my pants :( could also use a privacy screen between cabins as they are a bit close together. Bbq cleaning equipment in the cabins.

Our cabin was right on the beach, it was a great spot. The pool and water slide kept our daughter occupied. They have a movie night and a café too. You can purchase basic essentials from the office area. If you plan on cooking your meals you’ll need to grab your groceries in Townsville. Mystic sands golf club does a great feed; it’s about a 7 minute drive

Nothing, was a great stay

We rented a house with a sea view. It's well worth the extra cost. View is perfect. Spacious house with everything you need. Since you are on the beach, it is also quite humid in the house. kitchen living room and 2 bedrooms. Swimming pool and restaurant are good.

everything you want to do is by car. Half hour to nearest shopping centre / town.

The peace and serenity of the surroundings. Love the sound of the waves and birds singing. Love the “isolation” of this place. Everyone is courteous of each other. Very friendly staff. In my cabin I had a new lounge to sit on. Very comfy.

The squeaky bed I had. Lol. There was no bbq on some patios including mine.

The venue is very family friendly and our studio room was very spacious. It could fit perfectly my partner and I and our 2 babies under 2, with our own porta cot and a moses basket. We loved that the place was so close to many freshwater swimming spots- less than 15mins drive. However you also have access to the beach for morning and afternoon exlopration. I would deinitely go back again. Air con was very cold ;-)

We had a rather wet weekend so any sand was carried far and in between. Extra pathways at the studio rooms rather than sand and grass would be beneficial or a small lean to for where the cars are parked to protect from the weather. Nothing detrimental to our family getaway though. Our rooms Fan was on the blink and so we reported that.
