It wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t an amazing hotel with all the amenities. I’d argue to say it wasn’t spotless clean. BUT I give it a 8/10 because I was actually quite floored from my expectation to what it was. I booked it because it was significantly the lowest price (lower through booking.com) and from the photos I expected something pretty low end. Just a place to sleep while we explored Collingwood. But it was actually good! Don’t want to oversell, but happy. Better than expected room. Great customer service. A constructive criticism would be to upgrade the bathroom fan as it was quite noisy, and add more lighting in the bathroom and entrance. But looking at the room itself, it’s really not that different from the chain hotels $100-$200 more a night

Aesthetically the rooms are a bit dated but that is to be expected at this price point. Functionally there is nothing bad to say at all.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. There are several restaurants nearby. Hopped on a bus easily enough to get up to the Village at Blue. This was a very affordable option for my little side trip to visit with family in the Collingwood area. Value for dollar is great. Slightly removed from the touristy area - but that has its pros too! Easy location at intersection to arrange meeting up with family and transportation. Staying here exceeded my expectations, and again, was comfortable, clean and friendly.

I loved the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms and the attentiveness of the staff, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The prime location also made it easy to explore nearby attractions and dining options.

The comfort of the beds and the linen was exceptional we had a great sleep the rooms and walls are well made the good construction makes everything quiet for sleeping there is no breakfast only a coffee machine in the lobby that's the only cheap thing about this hotel they don't want people to spill anything in the room by accident unlike most hotels this practice Cuts they're rating down the rooms are modern and nice the bathroom facilities are just fine

I would rate this hotel better except for the checkout they demand a $200 deposit they actually go into your room lift all the Linens look around everywhere for something to charge you for and then you have to wait at checkout time 11:00 people are all lined up trying to get their $200 back on your credit card this is useless and this process should not exist for them to get a better star rating the checkout is a complete waste of time I've never seen it before in a hotel at checkout

Very large comfortable room. King size bed, comfortable sofa, desk , large dresser, night stand with lamp on both sides or bed, full bath tub with shower, spacious entrance way with lots of room for suit cases. Location central and walking distance to some shopping and restaurants. Less than 10 minutes to the village and ski areas. The downtown was a few minutes drive or maybe a 10 - 15 min walk on a nice day.. . We'd stay there again. It's a no fuss, no muss establishment and staff.

What a quaint place the "Luxury Inn" is. While I may not have named it the Luxury Inn - no pool, no spa, no room service, no bell hops etc. It was indeed what we were looking for on our one night stay. The room was clean. The linens and towels were fresh & crisp; the beds & pillows were comfortable. Yes, there was A/C but we were also happy that the windows actually opened. No issues with cable or Wifi; plenty of parking, central location and reasonably priced. Our hostess Dajinder and her brother were friendly and accommodating. As an added bonus.... we had a lovely evening sharing a BBQ with other guests in the rear patio area. Coffee and tea was offered in the morning.

The property is under new management and they are renovating. I do wish them the best of luck. There are some issues with uneven doors and maybe some mold issues in the bathrooms but I do believe they are taking control of those isses.

I like the location of the property and it’s also very clean. They offer Keurig coffee in the morning, which is convenient.

The TV situation needs a definite update They provide a cable box from Rogers I believe and it is totally outdated. You get four or five channels and all it is is News. They need to stream so that customers can log into their own accounts on Netflix or prime and watch some regular TV

It looked like the new owners put in new carpeting throughout, new lamps and furniture,including new air conditioning units as well as new wallpaper. That was our impression. They have only been there since May of this year so kudos to them.

The only thing we thought ....was their poor choice of toilets. The one we had was very low and not elongated making it very difficult to get up and use.
