Love the location. The mill is beautifully maintained. I went there by myself and was simply looking for a nice environment to stay for 2 nights: read books, drink wine and just get chilled. This place completely served my purpose. I spent a lot of time in the common room reading and drinking. The room is beautiful - just one lighting was out but I didn't bother to ask them to fix. Staffs was excellent - they help me move luggage, and start the wood fire in the living. very attentive.

Breakfast is a bit light and cold - but I guess it's the same for all continental breakfast. would be great if they offer scrambled eggs, omelette, etc. something hot. Common areas can offer self-served tea and coffee would be very very nice. No bath tub.

We booked a suite with terrace with the most breathtaking view of the fast flowing water, in front of the mill. The suite is very comfortable and the quality of the linens, furnishings etc are very good. There was a fridge, kettle and coffee maker in our suite, which had a separate lounge, bedroom, huge bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate walk in shower. The room was excellent. We ate one evening meal in the restaurant. The food was very nice overall ( salmon dome starter delicious) and there is a good choice of wine. Generally staff were polite and helpful, some were friendly. The hosts will speak in English if necessary but I had to attempt in French first - which to be honest, is completely fair enough. A younger male waiter was very friendly and helpful, especially when our French wasn't good enough to understand. Breakfast was simple, buffet style, plentiful. Parking is easy, secure and included. I can imagine this is a stunning place to stay in the Spring and summer, when the sun is shining. It really is beautiful. We visited Versaille and Giverny whilst staying here. The location is remote, so a car is essential and there are limited facilities locally.

We stayed at a quiet time, possibly out of season - so we found the overall ambiance at the hotel, especially in the restaurant lacking - it was a little soulless, brusque, quiet and cold, which is a shame when the food is good. Nit picking - I wasn't overly keen on the coffee served for dinner or breakfast and I usually lovely French coffee.

This is a very quite location, which suited us perfectly. The hotel room was a great size and well presented, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant is excellent!

Not easy to find the room, we were in the annex and the directions could have been a lot better, but once found it was great. The room cleaning was haphazard, one day done, the next not done, the next partially done. There was no shower in our room, a bath with a shower attachment but no shower seemed odd.

A “wow” place. Climbed up one of our top stays in all times ( and we’re frequent travelers). High quality of all facilities, situated perfectly on this small river, elegant and neat.

We ate dinner at the restaurant, food was good but pricey, and service was a bit sloppy. The breakfast was not very impressive, we would recommend not eating in the hotel if possible.

Peaceful surroundings, decent rooms, good facilities and welcoming staff. Good for a night or two. Bed was good, with decent mattress.

The rooms with garden view were actually situated further from the river than the idea one got based on pictures and hotel information. Facilities could be improved and rooms were basic.

The room and particularly the bed were fabulous. The bed was really cosy and comfortable. We both slept really well . Breakfast was great, and the room very well equipped. The bathroom and extra bits like robes and slippers were lovely .

We loved the bath but struggled to get the spa bath to work . It would have been helpful to have the instructions in English . The kettle was a technical challenge too .

Given key to room 9 on arrival but with lots of stairs plus the rooms were on 2 floors with awkward stairs. Also the bedroom had no curtains and view to river not good. Fortunately room 1 was available and so much better with good views of river. Very well refurbished plus a fridge and coffee maker making it ideal. Also close to Giverny.

I wouldn’t have been happy if we had to use room 9.

After a disaster with another hotel we had booked and had to.leave, we booked Moulin de Fourges, what a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, the staff were amazing especially the Manager who couldn't do enough for us, the meals in the evening were excellent sitting alongside the river, we will definitely book again. .

Set in the most stunning location, very tranquil, a true escape yet so close to Paris. Our meal at the restaurant was sublime and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening entertainment, guitarist/singer Cyril. We didn’t get to enjoy the sauna and spa but wish we had more than one night. Beautiful trails for walking and exploring.
