Felt safe the whole time. Very comfortable. Quiet. Coffee on in the lobby all day! Seeing the construction on the building showing the care in maintaining a safe facility. There are three different restaraunts on the ground level.

The pool was a little cold getting in but got used to it pretty quick. Was wishing for a hot tub but oh well. Over all very satisfied with whole experience. Construction blocked some of our view but it's a necessary evil. Didn't like that we had to go outside and walk around the building to access the restaraunts but at least we didn't have to drive across town for food.

Location near Drake diner. Efficient use of space. The security system on the elevator the curtain that separates the bed from the rest of the room for late night TV watching. Special mention for the two ladies serving breakfast: mindful of the inclement weather, they chose to come into the hotel at midnight so they would be available to serve breakfast in the morning. That is true dedication, and quality that should be reinforced and rewarded.

Nice newer hotel, modern and bright. Decent breakfast bar for guests. Coffee too. *Join and book through booking.com, we saved over $120 for our 3 night weekend stay. Pets are allowed, $75/stay. Nice suite with a curtain between the bed and couch, not a wall. Full size refrigerator, microwave and even a dishwasher! Weird how you have to put your keycard into a slot to keep the kitchen light on.

I was disappointed that there is no hot tub, just a pool.

We had an issue with people in the parking lot harassing and also seeming like they were trying to get in with no key and staying in the parking lot for a long time. Front desk only walked my partner inside. Did not call any type of security or police.

It was clean and comfortable. it was nice to have a full kitchen and plenty of space. The curtain between beds and couch is a nice touch. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly and helpful. The pool uses salt rather than chemicals. Pool was slightly cold but not too bad. The area was great. We were able to walk to dinner, and it was a short drive to downtown.

Having more than one high chair in the breakfast area would be helpful.

I had a quick and comfortable stay at the Home 2 Suites by Hilton. The rooms were very spacious, clean and had all the right amenities. The check in process was seamless and I managed to check in earlier than the check in time. Polite staff and a good location right on University avenue at Drake University.

Breakfast was very average. Would be good to have bottled water as well.

The room had a curtain you can pull out to add privacy between the bed and sofa which was also a pull out bed. Instead of paper cups there was glasses and regular dishes, there was a microwave and large refrigerator. Very eco friendly! It allows pets , good selection for breakfast. We were there for the Iowa State Fair and got back late, the only problem is small parking lot, and if they don't have any spots available to park, you have to park in the street which is hard because homeowners don't have driveway so they park in street. We did get lucky and managed to find a spot in the lot when we came back from the fair. Staff was friendly, rooms good size.

Location was wonderful for attending orientation at Drake University. We could walk to all the events on campus plus there was a good selection of restaurants within walking distance. I like that there is a pool and fitness center even though we did not use them on this trip.

The price -- it was pretty expensive for a one night stay.

Everything from management to staff to the corner by the toilet stall was exceptional. I’ve paid twice as much for a room of lesser value. Best experience I’ve ever had with a motel and will stay here every time I come this way on I-80.

Every aspect of this motel was exceptional. Nothing could be consider less than exceptional

EVERYTHING! Love staying here! Daughter goes to Drake! Super duper close! Love the breakfast every morning! Friendly staff! So clean & we got to look out on 5th floor at Old Main/Drake Campus!

Drake parents say there is a discount. We’ve stayed numerous times & asked front desk & have never figured out how to get Drake Discount or if it even exists. ALSO—not 1 spot left in parking lot so we have to drive around a bit & street park a ways away! Never experienced that before!
