The location is very close to the Parliament building, and the hygiene is clean. Especially the young man at the front desk, he is very enthusiastic and kind. This somewhat makes up for the hotel's noisy shortcomings.

The hotel is located by the roadside and is quite noisy. The air conditioning is also very loud. As a result, I didn't sleep well at all during the night. Considering that I had to drive for another whole day, it was really terrible.

Near Iowa State fair. Great location. Busy road but rooms are quite soundproof. Looks aged from outside but rooms are nice , modern, clean and comfy bed. Family owned, wonderful people have stayed there years ago before renovation. Good value. Lovely staff. We will be back

The location was convenient. I just needed a bed for the night and I was not at the hotel except to sleep so I was not looking for extra amenities. I was able to park right near my room which was convenient.

It was a non-smoking room, but I could tell that someone had smoked there. Fortunately, it was not enough to bother me even though I am sensitive to smoke.

Didn’t think much of the property when I arrived,but when walk into the room it looked like a 5 star motel. Reception was very courteous, helpful,and professional. It was an extremely enjoyable stay

When you exit the property you can only take a right turn. It’s not there fault, but it’s the only objective I could come up with

It was a good value for the price. Most importantly it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower were roomy.

It’s on a busy road, but it does quiet down later in the evening. The exterior could be spruced up more as on approach it looks a bit like a shady motel.

For the price it was perfect. Rooms were clean and nice

Only thing was the water pressure could have been better but that wasn't that big of a deal compared to what I would have paid for a different hotel with bad reviews

I’m not from Des Moines so wasn’t aware it was on a busy road. Lots of traffic going by constantly. Fan also didn’t want stay on constantly but I got that figured out. Also bedsheets were stained.

Very friendly staff and were understanding with my late check in. Always took care of fresh towels and toiletries when I was away and I felt safe throughout entire stay.

Great location quiet almost feels like a town home clean management was nice easy to book I absolutely loved it and it wasn't dirty was spacious in the bed was comfortable
