This hotel is fantastic. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfy. The staff is the friendliest I have encountered to date. They really are they to help their guests. Maggie is exceptionally brilliant. Breakfast is served on a schedule to meet all traveler’s needs from 430 to 10am. The indoor pool is cozy and warm with pool towels provided. The owners are operator are super smart as well, they employee third parties to provide extra services like room service and shuttles to the airport. There is also a restaurant and grocery store a short walk across the parking lot and over a grassy knoll. I had a great stay - 5 stars!

The toiletries were in bottles not dispensed from the wall. The lights did not require that one card be put in a slot in the room to engage the lights while the other entrance card was used to open and shut the door. There was a non skid bath mat for use in the tub, and there was a rail to hold onto to get up out of the tub. I am a bath person, and I felt comfortable using the bath tub in your room. The breakfast was listed as continental--so I expected all cold food. There were eggs and waffles, great coffee, and a choice of juices in addition to cold cereal and yogurt. The woman at the front desk when I arrived, Melissa, let me re-charge my phone at the front desk. I came down later and picked up the phone, but she was already off her shift, so I couldn't thank her personally.

There might have been more tables in the breakfast room. I was there around 7:30-8:00 and I felt as if I needed to eat as fast as I could, so others could sit down.

the location was great! it was right across from the airport and within 30 minutes from most places of interest, such as downtown. the bed was very comfortable. the rooms were very clean. the price was good.

the housekeeping was acting a little sketchy after the first night. We were there for a concert but left late and it seemed housekeeping was going into rooms of those at the show. They knocked on another room but the people hadn't left yet either and she still tried to look into their room even after being told they didn't need anything. When we checked in, they were asking everyone if they were there for the concert. Just seemed super weird. they only did it the day of the show and not any other night.

The size of the room was great. Employees were awesome. Nice morning breakfast.

The lighting in the room is not adequate. When I got in at night and flipped the switch, only 2 little ceiling lights came on. And they are very dim. There was no light by the closet, which made looking into it dark. During the day, you can open the curtains, but anyone across the street can see inside. It needs a few light in the TV area.

Bob was very helpful and had great advice. Everything was clean. The room was quiet. We were next to the elevator, and we never heard anything. They did an amazing job and the price was great. We got in very late due to a delayed flight and Bob was there with a smile ready to get us to our room as soon as possible. I lived they had plenty of lights with plugs and USB ports.

the room was nice, large and clean. Breakfast was good, except for several days the biscuit and gravy was runny like water. All is all it was a great stay.

Had a travel emergency and tried to cancel the room as we were running way behind ,they denied booking.coms request because it was against their policy and then tried to authorize my card immediately without permission to do so after I had already selected the pay at property option ,l forcing us to find alternative travel methods and arrive 3/4 hours late ,they were rude to myself and my husband on the phone and kept giving booking.com the run around as well and also didn’t have listed there was a 50$ incidental fee either

Room, and bed were great. Breakfast was good, but could have used some form of fresh fruit? Kitchen concept is AWESOME! The kitchen was clean.

Kitchen not stocked, but could get supplies down in lobby, a real hassle. Dish soap and scouring sponge would have been nice to be provided. Would be nice to add small size dishwasher to the kitchenette, more sanitary.

Since we had an early flight out, we were delighted to learn they had 24/7 service at the front desk and started serving breakfast at 4:30 so we could even have time to enjoy that! The shuttle service from/to the airport was also prompt with friendly, courteous drivers.

The curtains in our room were falling off the rod. The night desk person was difficult to understand.

Clean, good parking, comfortable suite, decent breakfast, AC working properly.

Slightly longer drive through central Des Moines to locate the hotel than I was expecting. But upon eventual arrival I was pleased with everything else.
