I didn't like how the key card wouldn't work. There was no one at the front desk. We had to call to get a hold of someone in the hotel. It took three different key cards and finally the front desk said the battery is out on the door. He said maintenance wouldn't be able to come out the next day. So someone had to stay in the room in order for us to get in. Or we would have to find the guy to let us in. It was very inconvenient.

Ned more towel hanging space in the bathroom. Place an extra hook on the door. The rooms also need to be aired out... There also seemed like there may have been a plumbing or water issue when I was there in the attached restaurant or hotel.

Free shuttle, nice toiletries. Spacious room, close to airport

Toilet paper never flushed, ice maker broken on 3rd floor. Paper products thin. Price on the high side for not having free breakfast

No breakfast at hotel/johnny's, I thought there should have been free breakfast if people stayed at double tree and memebrs of the Marriott members to be awarded vouchers for free breakfast.

Costs posted $12,99 each person at nearby Johnny's restaurant didn't meet my expectations for Double Tree stays

The Doubletree is a wonderful hotel and I always enjoy staying there. It was convenient the hotel is so close to the airport.

The hotel was great except the jacuzzi was not working properly and also the air conditioner was not working in my room. My plane got into Des Moines at 12 am so I missed the last shuttle to the hotel and had to pay for a taxi.

The breakfast was absoutely great, good variety and good food in the buffet.

One suggestion though; the kitchen staff could of kept an eye on the crowd and made sure that the supply of some of the buffet foods didn't run out with people still waiting in line.

The rooms were spotless and smelled new, the bed were so comfy.

Breakfast is about 12 dollars for each person even though when getting the room it said it was included in our meal

Great hotel! This will be my go-to stay now whenever I come visit family in Des Moines. Super close to the airport for flying in or out. My nephew loved the pool and the staff were patient and friendly!

Doubletree sent a shuttle to the airport to fetch me, after I’d arrived a day early to return my rental car. Then had a shuttle waiting for me the next morning.

The room was great.

The pool was overly cold and we were under the understanding there was a continental breakfast. Check-in took around 20 minutes due to an issue with the couple in front of us.
