The size of the room was amazing and the staff accommodated my request after we got there n checked realizing the room didn't have a bathtub I asked if it was possible to get a room with a bathtub n they got us moved right away with no issues at all. We also loved the pool

I tried to use the phone in the room and it didn't work at all also the room said it was set at 80° but they ac was on full blast 🤣🤣 only complaint about that was I jus wanted to kno the actual temp in the room cuz it was ICY. Also a serious lack of control over the kids in the pool area.

Love the location, we had a great room, very clean and quiet. The hotel was full of Baseball and basketball kids running all over.

The ROOM PRICE was OUTRAGEOUS TO JUST SLEEP!!! WE COULD’NT GET A SENIOR DISCOUNT BECAUSE WE RESERVED ON LINE!! Not paid on line so they should have adjusted it. The sad thing is the buffet looks like the food is hot but it’s NOT!!! Cold butter that wouldn’t even melt on the pancakes. Cold sausage as well. We could have had them make

Love the location. Wife and I got cleaned up and went for a stroll downtown to eat at Splash for a belated anniversary dinner, then walked around the rotunda at the river for some sight seeing. The breakfast and coffee in the lounge was hearty and up to par. I thought the rooftop lawn was really cool!

This is just a personal thing, but I wasn’t a fan of the carpets. Maybe it’s a sensory thing, but I think hotels are better off with LVF flooring. Much easier to see/feel when it’s clean. Parking was also a little weird since the hotel’s garage was full, but not a huge inconvenience. Didn’t love the coffee provided in the room.

Parking was very convenient being just across the road. Staff were very busy so it felt a little rushed, but I understand that. The room was very clean and comfortable for our stay. We had complimentary drinks, but did not get a chance to try out their breakfast. It was the perfect walking location, if you wanted to be downtown near entertainment. We felt very safe with its location.

Location, and the shuttle to the Capitol to connect with the bus to the Fairgrounds. Unfortunately, the return shuttle didn’t wait for my cousin and me, picked up others, we saw it, and LEFT u. We had to reissue the call and wait half hour on a warm afternoon for that shuttle.

The swimming pool and surround. Very much ENJOYED the breakfast and the evening hours of snacks.

I like that it was more adult friendly. Usually when I go to hotels there is a lot of kids and not really enough for adults to do. I lived the complementary drinks they had and the treatment when we had when we had questions. They even gave me and the family little goodie bags which was really nice. I love that the pool was open til midnight and there was adult swim for about an hour which is nice so that you don’t have to move around kids

I wish there was a hot tub for some of the adults to relax. Or even maybe a big tub in some of the rooms.

Great location with a tasty breakfast.

The kids running around the floor like it was a race track at Midnight. The adult movie being filmed on the floor above. All the actors were standing outside the room on the balcony waiting for there "scene". I would not of noticed them but they were vocal about what they were doing. There outfits were jaw dropping. At first I thought they were part of the Birthday murder mystery dinner down stairs. The "cast" were at breakfast the next morning and they looked like moms and dads that were there for the basketball tournament. Who would of thought that this happened in Iowa. The adult movie stuff is all a lie.

We stayed for a family mini vacation that was planned! We also weathered the snow storm. We enjoyed the comfort of being able to move around the spacious hotel with our children doing kartwheels and no negative looks! The waterfall inside was relaxing! Happy hour and snacks were a hit and breakfast was top notch! We would certainly stay there again!

The elevator speaker when saying going down sounded like it said going dead.....which we all heard and looked at each other I shock since our room was on the 8th floor! We survived every trip up and down lol!

Location was great and our room we had was on the corner. Room was very spacious since it was just the hubby and I. Right close by to the highway.

The room had spider webs in certain corners of the windows and window curtains. The fridge was dirty on the inside and was not cold.

Love how they made us feel so welcome,staff was great,food was great and very clean place, would definitely us this hotel again in the future

The only thing was having to pay 25.00 a night just to park in the garage felt it should have came with the rooms
