An absolutely charming hotel conveniently located in the center of Blois. The hotel is right across from the Cathédrale Saint-Louis with its iris and rose gardens, and just uphill from Blois's restaurants and bars. There is a parking lot right across the street. We were warmly welcomed to the hotel. Our room was beautiful and cozy and we also enjoyed the shared outdoor courtyard. Perhaps the highlight of our stay here was the generous breakfast, with house-made yogurt and jams, local breads and cheeses, fresh orange juice, etc. I highly recommend.

The place was lovely, great location, friendly host and wonderful stay. We booked the room on the third floor (no elevator) but we knew this before booking based on previous reviews. We are in France for almost 3 weeks but have a carryon and backpack each so carrying them up the stairs was fine (we are in our 60!s). The door to enter the bedroom is shorter than a standard door otherwise the room was nice size and had tea/coffee available to make in the room. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean with a generous shower. Breakfast consisted of a lot of options - teas, coffee, juice along with fresh fruit, yoghurt, warm croissants, jams, butter, ham, cheeses, etc. We parked our car across the street and when we arrived (6 pm) until we left (9 am), we did not have to pay.

Nothing but if you are not in decent shape, are lugging large suitcases and book the top floor room, it may take a little longer for you to reach your room.

We were delighted with the copious and delicious breakfast, four kinds of bread including croissant, marmelade, jam, cheese selection, cold cuts, cup of fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice, good strong coffee, warmed milk. It was the best breakfast we had enjoyed in days. The owner was very helpful with questions about the local sites, restaurants, and she loaned us umbrellas. I found this 18th century building a charming and quaint addition to our stay, including the three flights of spiral stairs. Our room looked out at the cathedral and over the old bridge spanning the Loire. Very comfortable king-sized bed!

It's nearly impossible to park a car in the old quarter, but this hotel is across the street from the cathedral parking lot, free from 6pm until 9 am. All considered, a good deal; one just has to move the car by 9am and pay parking somewhere

This is a beautiful walk up to the top floor of a building overlooking the cathedral. There is an easy walking path going directly into town and the blois Château.

It’s a walk up and while we had no problem because we left our heavy suitcases in the car across the street, It may pose an issue for others. The breakfast was basic and beautifully set. We walked to the Château in the early evening to see the show. However, it was desolate and felt a bit unsafe on the way home so we took an Uber, which was $25 for a short distance.

Armelle was very helpful with check in. We travelled by bike and she immediately showed us to the secure bike storage facility on site. Our room was lovely, comfortable and with a view of the cathedral. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The breakfast room was lovely and we were left alone to enjoy the food. There was a little terrace too. Restaurants etc were close and were accessed down steps. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Really large apartment with two bedrooms and functional living room. Well equipped kitchen, you can easily cook there. The flat was silent and clean. The interior is very nice, especially living room is furnished with taste. Very good central location, close to the main attractions and restaurants in Blois. Good contact with an owner who I think lives just above. There is a nice terrace in the backyard with chairs and tables.

There is only public paid parking for car.

This is a b and b in a lovely historic (?C16th) house, beautifully furnished, in the old town, with modern comfort and services. Easy walking distance to everywhere, with a carpark opposite (though limited to 2 hours between 0900 and 1800). Friendly and helpful host. We were in the Purple and Gold room at the top. Wonderful view over the town and the Loire. Generous breakfast with local products such as jam, cheese, and yoghurt. Large, comfy, and quiet bedroom, we slept very well. Recommended!

Couldn't have been better!

The location for this property was great. We walked down to the town in the evening (and rain!) for dinner and found many places to choose from. Note that it is quite a steep hill to get down to the town, incase you have walking difficulties - otherwise it just adds to the fun of the evening! Right next to the church. Breakfast was a lovely, Continental selection and the host accommodating, with good English.

We found the parking, in the car park opposite, to be restrictive with timings - we paid (which was cheap) until 9.45am. We just moved the car when we went to do the Chateau the following morning. It was opposite the door to the b&b so very convenient.

Our stay here was exceptional and we wish we could have stayed longer! The host Armelle was very friendly and helpful, even when we got stuck in traffic coming from Paris and arrived later than planned. The house is absolutley beautiful, and in a perfect location right next to the cathedral and an easy walk to the main part of town. We had a room in the attic, it was very clean and comfortable and had little touches that we appreciated, like bottles of water, toiletries etc and even had air con. The bathroom was very clean and modern. Breakfast is served in the dining room and was absolutely delicious with exceptional presentation. We cannot recommend this place enough.

On our way back home through France after visiting our son in the uk, we had to make a last minute change of plan as to where we were going to stay. We booked ……at the last minute. You know when you quickly book something at the last minute and then discover you have found the most amazing place but…… you don’t really want to tell anyone else as you don’t want it to get spoilt! Well this was one of those places! The house was oozing with french character and charm. So clean, bright and well decorated. Wonderfully run by Armelle. There was not a thing that she had not thought of…… from the tea and coffee making facilities in the room to the just perfect breakfast. Having been very unwell in the uk, a night in this beautiful french maison really cheered me up. And surely we only managed to get a room because someone cancelled at the last minute - so glad they did! Thank you so much Armelle for sharing your beautiful little piece of french heaven and being such a wonderful host.- it was only for only one night but it was a most memorable one.

There was nothing we ‘didn’t like! 2 things to bear in mind: The staircase is steep, some agility is needed. When arriving in Blois make sure your ‘satnav’ doesn’t lead you a a steep very narrow roadway. Plan your route carefully!
