This place felt like a breath of fresh air compared to our other, at times, cramped hotel rooms. We did the dinner and breakfast and both were exceptional cultural experiences. The dinner was definitely a challenge for our senses—though our group is very adventurous culinarily, we found some of these dishes beyond the borders of our capability to enjoy.

This Ryokan is a little ways away from the nearest station, but they will pick you up and drop you off when you need to get somewhere. We wish there was a convenience store nearby, but it was a small price to pay for an exceptional stay.

The meals in the hotel were excellent. The chef used fresh local seasonal ingredients. Beautiful & delicious! Our room was spacious & very comfortable.

The location is a bit isolated so there’s not much else to see or do besides the public baths & restaurant. Onoura train station is nearest. Hotel will pick up. About 10-15 min car ride.

Fresh and impeccably clean. Staff, especially Mr. Honda, was first rate. Staff picked us up and took us to and from the nearby train station a few times which was a great support. The hotel has a wonderful chef. We enjoyed two dinners and a breakfast. Nice spot, tho off the beaten path.

The feeling of luxury - and the lovely staff. The food was memorable. By far the biggest - and best equipped - hotel room we have ever had in Japan.

There was nothing to dislike - though I would have liked some stronger coffee!

Ibuku exceeded our expectations. Our room for 3 was huge❤️our meals were outstanding. Artistically and meticulously prepared and well presented. A feast for the eyes and senses. How lucky we are to have booked IBUKU❤️❤️

Beautiful, clean room, comfortable and spacious, with so many amenities. The staff was terrific! So helpful and kind. We loved all of our meals - they were delicious, plentiful, and creative.

Superb staff service and attitude. Food was excellent. The Onsen next door was a bonus. The Dinner was amazing and pushed our boundaries (in a good way) a little.
