Lovely hotel on the edge of a forest. It is easy to find but don’t trust your satnav, ours took us down a very narrow forest road. The owners are lovely and, Christina (sorry if I’ve spelt it wrong) and her husband are exceptional hosts. We arrived approximately 15 minutes before the restaurant closed and we were offered a fantastic cheese and meat platter to take to our room, along with a fabulous blueberry tart for dessert. Our room was huge and had a mezzanine floor and a balcony. The rooms are very quiet, clean, well appointed and comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality and the wonderful dinner (especially the blueberry tart)

The location, the staff, the room. Clean, comfortable. The restaurant food was amazing. The garden room we were meant to stop in was changed due to very heavy rain. We would get very wet going to the room and going into the hotel.. So they put us in another room in the hotel for the same price. Nothing was too much for them to help.

The bathroom bath shower. The shower head didn't have a wall mount holder. The hose and shower head lays on the bath taps. A simple holder in the wall would be good. This is a personal thing. I don't like holding a shower in one hand while putting shampoo on my hair or shower gel on my body. Odd times where water gets out of shower curtain or screen and gets everywhere. It's not a big concern. If in the area again. Would stop again. Great place.

It is a small and cozy hotel in a very beautiful place surrounded by forest. The location is perfect for people who want to escape from big city for a weekend. And also it’s near charming Strasbourg. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Also I would highly recommend to try a dinner in their family restaurant. There is absolutely no need to look for any other restaurants around. Thank you for great holidays we spent in your house.

Stopped off on our drive back from Italy. A rustic lodge type hotel with beautiful forrest and surrounding hills. Quiet, great value and a superb restaurant. Lovely view from our balcony. Will definitely stay again when travelling through Europe.

Facilities are a little dated but for the location and price this really wasn't a problem.

The hotel room was clean and we had all we needed. The woman checking us in was very friendly and she could speak English, which was very helpful since we don't speak French very well (and in some French hotels, they don't speak English...). We had diner in the restaurant which was exceptionally good food.

The mattresses on the beds were a little too firm for me. Also the shower wasn't very comfortable since it hung on a very awkward height (too low to stand under with your whole body) and it wasn't possible to hang it higher.

Very quaint the hotel was gorgeous, lovely staff, friendly and helpful, room looked amazing and location was quiet and perfect. Free parking right outside the door.

The mattress was uncomfortable and only 1 small pillow each. Unfortunately reception closed at 8pm so unable to get more pillows.

Quiet location, in the middle of nature. Nice lighting details in the room, which was very comfortable. Good wifi. Good value overall.

There was sewage smell until late night, but thankfully disappeared after a while. Breakfast is not homemade stuff everyone mentions but staff was very nice and helpful, served drinks to table, and the view from restaurant was amazing.

Beautiful forest setting with trails from the door, spacious comfortable room with nice balcony, great value. The dinner was exceptional - highly recommend eating in, and the staff were kind and friendly too. Thanks so much for a lovely night.

Absolute gem and a great find. Lovely family run hotel, comfortable rooms and super friendly, kind and helpful staff. The evening meal was delicious, breakfast also very good. Thank you so much for a really great stay. We hope to stay with you again.
