The hotel is top! The room was clean with sea view, the breakfast was a lot and tasteful, the restaurant have good food and helpful personnel! The perfect hotel to stay in Calais!

We used this hotel for a stay over before our ferry back to UK. The location to the ferry port meant we didn't have a mad rush, we could stroll on the beach and front after breakfast . check out was 11am which was ideal, we were able to arrange our estimated arrival time at night and receptionist was very helpful and polite. Beds had mattress protectors,sheets were crisp white clean,cleanliness was spot on( I checked as I'm a hospital cleaner 😄) kettle and supplies for that morning coffee. Breakfast couldn't fault it, lots on offer, regularly replenished, staff very friendly. We were on the ground floor and we had a door in the room to the outside which was a bonus because you didn't have to walk through the hotel and disturb anyone if you needed to go out for fresh air. Would definitely use this hotel again passing through France.

Can't say anything we didn't like tbh as we only spent one night and everything was great.

Great location... could not be better (beach/boulevard). Free parking. Nice people (reception, cleaning, restaurant). TV was good, shower/bath was good, bed was okay for 1 or 2 nights. Ps. Calais has really become a nice beach destination... a boulevard that's great for kids too.

Room is what you pay for in a perfect location... it's not a 3 or 4 star hotel and the finishing of the room is far from perfect (paint on doors and other details... you really wonder who in the world did such a bad job, almost funny) ... but it's absolutely value for money given the low price. Internet was slightly problematic (have to register online). Ps. No elevator for 2nd floor, just stairs.

The price was great and you are so close to a beautiful sandy beach, we arrived during the night and left early morning but would definitely go back to explore the area. It's definitely a great place to stay for a couple of days if you like the beach and ideally through the summer. The bar area was great, we stopped for a quick drink before heading to bed.

My favourite stay at Calais. I am a dog owner and this hotel is extremely comfortable if you travel with dogs. Ask for a room on the groundfloor and you can go in and out directly from the room without passing the main entrance all the time. You can park your car practically in front of the room. In autumn and winter you can walk your dog on the beach which is a few metres away. Last time we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was excellent. I also like how the restaurant/breakfast room is layed out. There is a lot of space between the tables and last time we could bring our two dogs to the restaurant in the evening. Good value for money.

Location very good. Staff friendly and polite. Very helpful. Food tasty and delicious. Our room was clean on arrival I would stay on my own but try to get room on right.

For two people with disabilities the room was a bit small. Rooms seem larger on right hand side of corridor. Bathroom extremely small and toilet low for disabilities. Table in restaurant should be available on level and then no step to negotiate.

The staff were excellent, the food was very good both at dinner and breakfast. The location was closed to the beach and the ferry terminal, which was very handy for us.

The room we were in the bathroom door was difficult to open from the inside just because it had warped over time and the bench/table in the bedroom needed replacing. We did not like the fact that the light switch was in the bathroom rather than outside of the bathroom door.

Closeness to beach etc and good food plenty variety.

Bathroom very small. My husband difficulty walking could have done with a bigger room. And bathroom. My fault should have had the disability room. Think they only have 1 room though. Also, the main reception desk although friendly could have dressed more smartly maybe need a dress code.. otherwise rest of the stay good, food amazing lots to choose from.

Rooms were basic, but clean and beds / pillows were comfy....what more can you ask for?! Good value for money (and the food in the restaurant was good too!) Staff were very friendly.

Didn't go on late, but was quite noisy Walls are quite thin so could hear the people downstairs. Only one coffee provided in the room and lack of plug sockets. My partner has a sleep apnea machine and thankfully we had an extension lead to reach the only plug!

Use this hotel as a stopover when road tripping through France and Italy(travelling from Scotland) and have done so for the past 2 years beds comfortable enough staff helpful no real language barriers to speak of we have never eaten breakfast here but do enjoy an evening meal with a glass of wine when we stay it sets us up for the rest of our holiday .

One small thing though this is more a preference than a problem … I prefer a walk-in shower due to mobility issues rather than climbing into a bath to shower.
