We stay here on every trip from our home in France to visit family in the UK and I'm always happy to leave a positive review. The lady on reception - whose name, regrettably, I still do not know - always makes us feel welcome and, as I have previously noted, she is an excellent ambassador for the hotel. The restaurant offers great food and wine and the breakfasts are all we could want or need.

On this occasion, there seemed to be a fault with the electrics in room 47. The TV wasn't working (although we were too tired to watch anyway) but neither was the hairdryer or three power outlets near the window. I reported it to the gentleman on reception as we checked out.

Very convenient for the Le Shuttle terminal. Easy to find. Lots of free parking. Friendly staff. Good value evening meal. Good breakfast.

We loved the location, the access to Eurotunnel and shops. The room was very clean, the sockets for chargers on each side of the bed were appreciated, the extra pillows, the comfortable mattress, the secure carpark (with all these policemen around, who wouldn't🤭) and the breakfast (especially the multigrain breads). We come every year and several times a year to this hotel specifically.

Nothing really. Maybe for customers who come regularly but not for business, there could be a discount or something when it is your 3rd stay in the year for example.

It's convenient being close to Le Shuttle. The beds are comfortable and clean with crisp white bed linens along with clean towels in the bathroom. Good shower. The rooms are very clean and always have been in our experience. Every time we've stayed it's been quiet at night ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff are welcoming and helpful, any questions answered and any issues resolved if possible. Breakfast is plentiful with choice of continental or cooked. Although over the last few years we've noticed not quite the amount of choice with the cooked. We have a dog and they've always welcomed well-behaved canine friends with a reserved place for them to be with you whilst dining if you so wish.

The lighting is too dim and unfortunately this time we had a bedside light that didn't work which tripped all the lights in our room. A member of staff came straight to our room to rectify the problem, however the light was faulty so couldn't be used. Hopefully it will be repaired or replaced. Our evening meal was not quite up to it's usual standard we've experienced on past stop overs but this was conveyed before leaving the hotel to hotel management. Husband was disappointed there was no burger on the menu this time which he had previously enjoyed.

I've used BB Hotels in Germany and my experiance was definitely average so I was a little hesitant about an overnight stay at Calais. What a difference! we arrived fairly late but the bar was still open and food available. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was a good size with everthing we could want. beds very comfortable and lovely crisp sheets. Breakfast was very good with nice fresh selections. Would highly recommend for an overnight stay or longer

Not an issue but there are 3 or 4 BB Hotels close together and we were not sure which one to go to. By luck we chose well first time

We had a dog with us and still been allocated in a Really Clean room, which was easy to maintain, all things you need were available even a chair to put your clothes on. Great place to stay for couple of days with fantastic location near shopping centre , supermarkets and cinema. Nice breakfast but would be good to have some cucumber or tomato to choose from. Definitely recommend and thank you for keeping it in such a good condition.

very minor two suggestions:1. The curtains should be swapped with blinds as if you got a bed next to it you keep moving it all the time , 2. The breakfast could have a bit more variety , couple of cheese and ham to choose from and some vegetables ie tomatoes or cucumbers. Otherwise great place to stay.

I chose this hotel as I had used it previously when it was an Ibis, I'm very pleased to see that the only change is in the branding of the new owners. The hotel is still great, very clean and comfortable with a very good restaurant, and a typical continental breakfast I the morning. It is pet friendly, another reason for using it, and obviously it's close proximity to Le Shuttle which is at Junction 42 on the A16, I mention this because that is also the location for the pet reception area.

Location was perfect for the Channel Tunnel, Ave too many routes and only a few minute walk to Le Cité shopping centre. The hotel is modern, well equipped and well run. Breakfast buffet is good and good value even providing some hot items such as bacon and scrambled egg. The latter was exceptional by the way. Creamed and with cheese added I believe, they were the best I’ve ever had!!

Only criticisms were that the mattresses are a little hard and the bread at breakfast was not up to the standard we expect of France. Otherwise it was perfect and we will use again without doubt.

The location was so convenient for a stop off before driving to Italy. The rooms were spotless and the beds comfortable. The restaurant offered a good choice of meals and the staff were amazing and went over and above to make sure everything was OK. There was a good breakfast on offer which we paid for in addition to the room. There was plenty of free parking and the hotel was easy to find after leaving le shuttle terminal. We would definitely stay here again.

I booked in last minute, literally, due to complications traveling across the channel and must say I was very impressed with the service I received. I was greeted by name and was in my room within minutes, including my three small dogs who were made as welcome as I was. The room was comfortable, the shower was incredible, and the next morning the breakfast was good (highlight being the scrambled eggs). All in all this was a very welcome break located so close to the Chunnel terminal.
