Good location, pleasant room, parking on site, nice bar with bar snacks available; good breakfast, and helpful staff. I’d requested a ground or first floor room because of my mobility problems, and was allocated one closest to the entrance, and on the ground floor, which was good. Oh, and wonderful pillows!

I found it strange that in our disability room, the shower tray was a half-height bath! Bit difficult to get into for a disabled person I would have thought, - it didn’t affect me, but might affect others more disabled; and the surface was quite slippy as well, - could do with a shower tray non-slip mat in it. Otherwise decent size bathroom with disability handrails, but hardly any room around the bed, not really enough space to manoeuvre a wheelchair if you need one.

Yes the hotel is a bit dated BUT other positive factors make up for that: friendly staff, overnight front desk (useful for late arrivals), comfortable bed, great secure and well lit car park, in-house restaurant open until 22h (we didn't eat there as the town centre is only 10 min away and great for a stretch & seafood), very competitive pricing , less than 10 min from the Eurotunnel AND 4 EV charging points in their own car park. I would certainly use again for these factors alone and can put with a dated decor or bathroom.

We only had 2evening meals and they were ok.The lady who served us was very helpful .Our room was clean and had the basics we needed.

We were upset on arrival as we have been to this hotel 2or3 times a year for the last 18years. We had a letter of confirmation but were told they had found out that morning they were over booked. The receptionist had found us a room at another hotel. It was much more expensive but we had to take it. We returned for the last few days of our holiday as it is so central.The hair dryers in the bedrooms are very old and don’t work well

Close to Le Shuttle terminal with easy safe parking . Room is small but has everything you need for one night , a comfortable bed and good pillows . Tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. Small but effective shower. There is a very good reasonably priced breakfast available which starts early for those needing to travel onwards . It’s surprisingly quiet considering how close it is to the main autoroute. Helpful and friendly staff .

There are no luxuries ,but to be fair it does the job .

Breakfast is good, and the evening menu is very good. The rooms are basic - no frills. However, the beds are very comfortable and the logis is spotlessly clean. The reception staff are outstanding; I arrived early and the staff made sure that my luggage and raincoat were safely stored. I have stayed in this Logis on other occasions and have always been made to feel welcome.

Very good as usual. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Sad to see how difficult it is to find more staff to help the one on site who are already very good but in need of help. However the lady on arrival was amazing, very kind, efficient and professional.

Little problem with the shower in the morning but very quickly fixed by the young man from the reception. It has been many years since we are coming at the Cottage and never been disappointed. Phone didn't work, but again the staff was very helpful.

The price, the parking, the restaurant, and sympathy of the woman at the reception (and restaurant she does both).

They forget our breakfast, even if we paid it 10€, at 9h30 there was nothing for us, and the guy at the reception was not kind about this. We felt accountable and had to ask for the reimbursement. Not a nice situation.

Check in was quick and easy, the staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean, all amenities we needed, the rooms was clean comfy and welcoming, had tv with satellite Chanel’s, bathroom well Equipped, restaurant and bar was excellent, the food was fantastic and great value, the breakfast was great check out was easy, we would definitely stay here again

That’s the second time I’ve stayed and the directions to the hotel from the Chunnel are awful. The TV and WiFi systems in the hotel are very very poor and need attention. The hotel staff tried all they could to sort things but we had to give up. A shame as our trip was timed to enable me to watch a major Rugby World Cup game which I effectively missed.

The hotel is ideally located for an overnight stay either coming from, or going to the ferry, there is secure parking with CCTV. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a decent size with a small en-suite bathroom and a large opening window with security chain, ideal on a hot, barmy night. The restaurant is a good size with a bar serving a variety of alcoholic drinks. The breakfast was plentiful and ideal for a long journey home. We will stay there again.
