The courtesy and availability of the staff to satisfy our needs, taking into account the fact that we were traveling with two children. I cannot remember all Sirs from the front desk but they were all courteous and always with a smile. Internally, even if the room was not that big for 4 persons, it was at the 10th floor with a reasonable wonderful view (unfortunately only from the bathroom - but still ok), nothing special to complain. Daily cleaning of the room, fresh and scented clean linen every day. Every day enough bootle of water and coffee simply for free. A nice story for highlighting the courtesy of the staff - since we had a small child (3 yo) we were asking to have a fridge in the room in order to store the fresh milk for him. One day (of the 9 night we stayed there), they accidentally unplugged it without knowing that an almost fully bottle of milk was still inside. In the evening after having advised them about what happened, they were immediately willing to refund us of about the cost of the milk. The position of the Hotel is for sure something plus. Near to the beautiful, colorful and scented Chinatown, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge as well as Manhattan's east riverfront that you can reach in a couple of minutes. Finally, in the last day after having checking out, while we waited for the flight back (in the late afternoon) they offer us, free of charge, the storage of the luggages in order to take advantage of another half day going around the city. After that, before to leave they have allowed us to have lunch sitting on the outside table in front of the Hotel.

Actually nothing to complain. Maybe, I would suggest (since this was only a minor) if the Hotel's policy does not want to offer the breakfast option, may be offering at least some milk for free in order to round wonderfully the current offer.

I like the location, its very close with subway. The properties is in chinatown where you can find lots of food and restaurants, neighborhoods also safe for family. The staffs are warm, free coffee in lobby 24/7, although room is not that big but they have 2 queens beds and fits for family of four and value for money. Overall we are happy staying in this property and would love to comeback.

Great hotel, we got our room upgraded, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom was big (also spotless), the bed had nice sheets, the room was warm (first week of march 2023), the personnel was polite and very helpful. They had complementary water (2 water bottles in the room and a filtered water machine in the lobby), coffee and tea in the lobby. They let us check in early for free (because our room was ready) and they stored our bags at checkout, also for free. The Brooklyn bridge is at walking distance and we were able to go out at night to bars/clubs (also walking distance or by bus -it has a bus stop right outside-). A very pleasent stay.

The temperature of the water in the shower was hot enough but not scalding (not everyone likes their showers really hot, I do). And the only thing I didnt like so much about this hotel is the location, we had everything at walking distance, but since we are two girls travelling by ourselves, returning late at night was a concern.

Very good location in Chinatown with comfortable walking distance to the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges. A few minutes walk away from several subway stations. Lots of places to eat nearby and not too far from a Target and Trader Joe's. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bed we had on the 8th floor was comfy.

If you plan on a longer stay there is no possibility to do laundry, this was not really an issue for us, but it is worth mentioning. There was no mini fridge in the room and there was also no tea kettle in the room (if you wanted tea you had to go to the basement, which was not a dealbreaker, but slightly inconvenient nonetheless). Ideally, there could have been more places to hang jackets/clothes in the room (we visited in winter).

If you know Chinatown in Manhattan, you'll appreciate how good this place is compared to others. It's close to downtown, the Financial District, and several subway stations. Some rooms—like the one we had—offer a great view of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges right from the bathroom. This adds a unique cultural value to the hotel. The hotel has an agreement with a community center two or three blocks away, allowing guests to use a gym for free. The gym is excellent, especially if you want to exercise regularly during your stay. Just make sure to take advantage of this opportunity. Don't forget your ID on your first visit—ask the gym management for a temporary membership card. Once you have it, you can access the gym at any time for free. One block away on the same street, there's a good laundromat called Grandma's Laundromat where you can do your laundry very cheaply.

The cleaning provided by the maids varies in quality from one maid to another.

The elevator broke on our first day and was out through the evening into the next morning. Of course, we were on the 9th floor and making that trek is not advisable as many times as I did it. We joked they should make t-shirts that say "I survived a broken hotel elevator in NYC". That being said, everything else was just perfect. The staff was wonderful, the view of the bridges from our room was majestic and the location was so great that we will ALWAYS stay in Chinatown on future trips. In fact, we'll probably just stay here again.

Great location!! Also, it was nice to be able to leave our luggage since we arrived on a red eye flight very early. No frills, but super value kind of hotel.

The staff were nice, but we were hopeful to be able to check in early. We never got a call at all that our room was even ready. We just decided to come back and inquire and luckily it was, but after the normal check in time. The AC took a lot of time to cool the room and someone was sent up to check it, but he didn't speak English so we weren't sure what happened. Eventually it cooled off.

Good location, close (5 min. walk) to East Broadway metro station. 24-hour reception. Free coffee at the reception all day, especially in the morning (great). Cleanliness. Quiet street. Close to fast food options. Helpful staff. Good bathroom equipment. Large TV. Spacious elevator.

Dirty neighborhood (garbage, homeless people). We had a very small room for four. There was no table where we could sit and eat. Poor soundproofing of the main door to the room. Light from the hotel corridor shone through the door into the room.

First I thought the room is too small and simple, but then I found out that they actually have everything I need. The staff were friendly, and in the end I found the place quite cozy. The value for money is quite good for this location, in my opinion.

The room is small, and there is no wardrobe to hang the clothes.

The place is super well located! Chinatown is not a fancy neighbour but it’s completely safe. You can see the Chrysler building at the end of the street from the door, the metro is closeby, and you can walk easily and safely to NoLiTa and even midtown in less than an hour; everything is less than 20 mins away on the metro. Beds were super comfy, there was free coffee and cold/hot water. The housekeeping stuff kept the place spotless, despite us leaving the room very late most days. The room size is fine for two people with carry on luggage and there’s some hangers for blazers and dresses. Thanks for everything!

The A/C was not straightforward to operate, but I am writing this here so that if that happens to anyone else, just contact reception. They will help sort it out, and you won’t have to lose sleep like I did for the first nights because I didn’t ask. There is noise from the trains, but after a couple of nights and with earplugs I got completely used to it (and I am a very, very bad sleeper). I would maybe have had a different experience if I was staying in the rooms right by the reception (you can see them in the reception pic). Those rooms wouldn’t be suitable for a long, tiring trip like ours, so maybe the management could re-consider having those on offer.
