Right off the highway, easy parking for autos pulling trailers. The hotel offered a nice variety for breakfast to include biscuits with sausage gravy! The coffee in the room was better than many and the staff was very friendly.

The facility shared an entrance with a sketchy looking mobile home park. We chose to walk to restaurant so not to have problems with parking an auto with trailer. The area was not the best, homeless people, people just hanging around. The room had a weird smell at first. It did air out after running the fan and leaving the door open for a short time.

Microwave in the room, room was cleaned frequently, wifi was never an issue, breakfast was decent, if I ever had to go to Barstow again, I’d stay here

On the first the night the bath didn’t drain but was solved immediately, the light went out over the sink for a few days so was pretty hard to see things for a night or two but that was resolved, the washing machine in the hotel left my clothes soaked, the dryer wasn’t able to dry them, I’d probably use the Laundromat down the road next time. On the weekends there was a lady at the reception and she never had quarters available but during the week when the other staff were around they always had change available. I’m pretty sure she was just being too lazy to count them out, if you need quarters go doing the week

Friendly check in, clean and comfortable rooms. Appreciated fridge. Breakfast was excellent with large variety and very well set up. Pet fee was low which I find only the right thing to do.

Location - well what can you really do about it? Had to walk my dog and would not have felt comfortable by myself. It is a little noisy with train but I can tune it out, and they give you ear plugs which I found a nice idea. There is a dog “run” around the side by street which is tiny and well “just here”. Nobody seems to pick up anything and you could really make it more attractive.

Lobby is very nice looking. Front office staff very friendly! The room was clean, as soon as you entered you could smell that it was clean which I appreciate very much! Breakfast is typical, coffee, teas, juice, wafffles, cereal, eggs, potatoes, biscuits, pastries. For our one night stay it was okay.

If you’re not familiar with Barstow, you’ll book thinking this is around the outlets… it not. It’s in the main town of Barstow way before reaching the outlets. The area unfortunately is a bit sketchy, and the train runs right in front of the hotel. I’m a light sleeper so I heard it pass at least twice during the night.

Breakfast was great and the room was clean. They have a fenced-in dog exercise area and the clerk at the front desk when we arrived was VERY helpful with recommendations for eating places..

We were surprised to be very near to a railroad. It ran all night long. We were very tired from our trip but the train was pretty silent so we slept well. The swimming pool was filled with young children so there was a lot of noise and splashing (the pool surround was small so there was no room to get away from the children. The parents didn't seem to try to keep the yelling down. We like children but these kids were out of hand.

The bedding was comfortable, and the shower head/water pressure was great. Most importantly, the front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. I felt confident in staying at this location- it is what it is if you need to stopover in Barstow as we did. I also appreciated that they had parking that accommodated our pickup truck pulling a small utility trailer.

They were hard to reach by phone to the actual location. But everything went off without a hitch.

Conveniently located right off the highway. The bed was very comfortable. This was just a quick place to rest between LA and Las Vegas. It fit the need for a sleepy traveler.

I went to the breakfast about 5-10 minutes prior to the closing and they didn’t want to let me in. Although they did end up letting me in, selection was scarce at that point which was my own fault. I grabbed some coffee and fruit and was in my way.

Lovely breakfast and very nice lady manning the breakfast area. Lots of toiletries. Modern and clean.

Only 1 bedside table. Dozens of ants marching around the jam/peanut butter bowls. The pool was closed - we have only booked the room because we wanted to use the pool. Blatant response from the receptionist was 'would you like me to cancel your booking'? She and the receptionist on duty the following morning provided different explanations as to why the pool was closed.

The employees/management of this hotel have done a great job overcoming the deficiencies of the building (see below) with hard work and thoughtfulness. The room was spotless. Plenty of towels. Very high quality bathroom materials (soap, shampoo, etc). All the technical equipment (eg., Wifi) worked perfectly. And the breakfast, for a hotel of this price, was exceptionally good. Plenty of thoughtful, little tips (like the ear plugs left near the bed to help with the noisy location and the cute elephant made of a folded towel).

The building was old and ugly: a 2-level motel. It was also located right next to two noise sources: the highway and a railroad line (although I don't think the railroad ran during the night).

Have stayed here before a couple of times. Good stopover location when driving from California to Las Vegas, We like the fact this is a traditional motel, in that you can park outside your room, and staff honoured a request for a downstairs room. Rooms are nice. A good size with usual facilities - microwave, large television with plenty of channels, coffee maker etc. Staff efficient and friendly. Good breakfast.
