The even numbered rooms on the 3rd floor look towards the Taj Mahal but the view is obstructed by a water tank. Higher floors may be preferable. The catering staff is friendly and caring.

The reception staff is inefficient. Very slow and despite being informed to keep the bill ready, did everything at the last minute. Delayed my departure needlessly. Even for getting a card with three floor access for the family coordinator, (as my family members were put in three different floors), it took several attempts and detailed explaining. Guests were allowed to enter the swimming pool fully clothed and this was an ugly sight with no one to stop them from dirtying the pool. Strict dress policy is needed and this should be kept in writing in the rooms that only proper swimming costumes are allowed in the pool.

Very clean.. every nook and corner smelt good.. better than any other 4 star hotels I’ve ever stayed in.. the buffet dinner didn’t have wide selection but food was tasty.. the massage at the spa was amazing.. staffs were great..

Beware that the drinks inside the minibar are not complimentary.. there was no mini bar menu in the room or any sign mentioning the same so I assumed that those were free.. while settling the invoice the night before it wasn’t mentioned or added to the bill either.. the following morning when I was in a rush to head out to the airport and handing over the room access card it was mentioned.. they charged me £4 for a can of coke.. what a rip off!!!! This was the only disappointing part. If there was a menu or notification in the room I could have made an informed decision. Due to its absence I felt misguided and ripped off.

From the moment we walked in and were warmly welcomed by Sebastian, we felt we entered a special place. The hotel lobby is gorgeous, you get to pet the two lovely labradors while you drink homemade lemonade and wait for your check in. Our room was clean and spacious, nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good with some nice Indian options as well as a bigger a la carte menu. We also lunched there once and really enjoyed it. The staff go out of their way to make you feel special and ensure your stay is as perfect as it can be, particularly Manesh and Papender and the lovely lady with glasses at the reception. We loved the hotel and the atmosphere there so much that we extended our stay. On our second day we enjoyed the lovely pool, Jiva spa and the rooftop restaurant. The location is perfect, a 15min drive from the train station and a 5min drive from the Taj Mahal.

The food at the rooftop restaurant is mostly European but it’s still delicious and the view is absolutely worth it!

Clean hotel, bright room, pleasant atmosphere. Interesting interior decoration, magnificent view of the Taj Mahal from the sky deck! 😃 But we were most impressed by the staff! Thank you once again for your hospitality 🌸 Politeness at the reception, in the lobby, by the pool, everywhere. People are responsive, they will always answer any questions and help you! 👍🏻 The cleaning in the room is wonderful! The restaurant is beyond all praise! 🔥 Caring, attentive waiters, delicious food, individual approach to the child at the table all the time! 👧 And for our daughter's birthday they even made us a cake! 🎂 It was an unforgettable journey! We'll be happy to come back here again! 😍

If there is one thing that stands out at this place from the rest of the accommodations we had in India, it is their overwhelming hospitality! The room was meticulously arranged and tastefully decorated with a view of Taj Mahal from our bed. Their marble inlay decor and artisan hors d'oeuvres made the stay very special. We were celebrating my son's 18th birthday and they prepared a surprise for us in our room, complete with a birthday cake. We also greatly appreciated the food and service in their in-house restaurant. Overall the stay was too good that we hesitated to leave the room despite being in the city of wonders!

This has nothing to do about the hotel but we assumed that the Taj Mahal would have lights that made it visible at night.

The hotel is nice, rooms are specious and the view at the rooftop is to Taj Mahal, which is very nice. The hotel location is perfect, and staff is nice, breakfast had variety of options. They have tuc-tucs (rikshas) in front of the hotel, and our tuc-tuc driver was amazing. He took us around all day for very affordable price. We were searching for specific shoes all day and we could not find. Then in the evening he came and said: look at the back, and he brought us shoes we wanted. Amazing person. Please take him when staying in this hotel, you won't regret it. Ask for Mahesh.

we actually don't have a dislike in this place

The hotel is popular with Indian families who enjoy the all-you-can-eat buffet. They fill the hotel and poolside with laughter day and night. Any technical shortcomings in the hotel are more than made up for by the delightful and willing staff. From Sanya in the Front Office to Devjeet in Jhankar restaurant everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. A special shout-out to Sky Deck waiters and Head barman. Poolside attendant was alert and leapt into action when a little boy nearly drowned after falling face down into the pool.

Since the Metro opened in February the even-numbered rooms facing the Taj are very noisy so the rear odd-numbered ones are quieter. Ours was designed for physically challenged guests so the bathroom and shower were uncomfortable for us. We wanted to take Max & Maya the golden labradors home with us but they wanted to stay.

It is my second time here and everything is just amazing. Beautiful flawlessly clean room, welcome sweets, attentive staff and luxurious ambience. Don’t miss the authentic shops in lobby. Exclusive pashmina, high quality jewelry, very kind and friendly owners. They know how to make ideal gifts. Reception is available 24/7 with money exchange at a very good rate, smiling and extremely nice night team - greetings to Kuldip. Welcoming and attentive day team - greetings to Sagar and Bhavna. Overall, we had another awesome stay in Taj View. Whenever I’m back to Agra, this is my place to be. Thank you all for unforgettable memories!

This hotel is a peacefull refuge in Agra, everyone in the hotel is really kind and helpfull. They received us when we arrive with cool drinks and she painted us the 'bindi', it was a wonderfull arriving moment. The swimming pool is amazing and the gym complete. The hotel has different restaurants to choose, a gallery wirh shops and a rooftop dinning place. We ate two days here and the food was excellent, so was the service. I recomend this hotel indeed!!

Magnificent hotel in centre Agra with enchanting view to Taj Mahal.
