We stayed for one night as it was located close to the border. It was clean and comfortable, we had a queen bedroom downstairs, with a private bathroom, which was next to the bedroom, so you had to go into the hallway and to the bathroom next door, but it was for that room only. The host was friendly and accommodating. There was a kitchen where you could make tea or coffee or use the fridge if you had supplies. Everything was good, the bed was comfortable, there was no road noise and it was very quiet, so we slept very well. We had breakfast which was very nice.

Separate bathroom, but at least it was just ours and only for one night.

It was in a very upscale, family oriented, quiet neighborhood - we felt very safe and secure with our cars parked on the street. The hosts were very nice and accommodating, the place was clean and spacious, and the rooms were luxurious and comfortable. For a party of 6 it was cheaper than booking a hotel, and this way we know the money is going towards supporting real people instead of a corporation. Even though we didn't opt for breakfast we were still offered coffee and a bite to eat before we left in the morning. Only a half hour drive to the Tsawwassen terminal.

There was a couple that checked in quite early the morning we were leaving, so the member of our party sleeping in the room next to theirs was woken up earlier than she intended by them going in and out of their room. The rest of us had occupied the entire downstairs so we were far enough away to sleep through it. This is a very specific circumstance but if you're concerned about being woken up by potential guests on a morning where you were hoping to sleep in, bring earplugs. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows for sleeping were quite flat. Bring your own pillow or be prepared to double up. I ended up putting one of the decorative pillows underneath just for some extra lift and it worked fine.

The house is lovely and ample; plus an amazing, very welcoming and helpful host. Super comfortable beds, never a single issue throughout the whole week of stay. Lovely neighbourhood, too

Sunny and Island were so nice and they cooked us an amazing meal and when I say they are so nice, I mean they were so so so so so so so nice and sweet and they have a beautiful house, it's the most amazing garden ever ! It's just so beautiful . By Bevin (11yrs old) My daughter really wanted to write a review because she was so amazed by the kindness of Sunny and Island and everything she said is true. They were above and beyond hospitable. So sweet and kind and what an amazing breakfast!! Definitely will come back again and would definitely recommend this beautiful home to all!!! I think that there was nothing I didn't like everything was amazing Sunny and Island were so nice it was just amazing.

The owner, Island, was always welcoming and made the most delicious breakfasts at a time convenient for me. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The small touches like shampoo, conditioner and soaps was lovely. Location is excellent - quiet yet safe and well lit for single travellers. Thank you, Island, for a great place to stay!

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived a bit later than expected because of delays but the host was waiting and ready to show us to our room. We had choices for breakfast but chose a lighter option since we usually do not have a big breakfast. Food was good and well prepared. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for us and was in a quiet area adjacent to White Rock. We had to leave early to catch a ferry and so had a 7:30am breakfast waiting for us with coffee. No complaints.

There is nothing you couldn't like about the facilities at Sunny Island, great hosts a lovely property, large bedroom with a very comfortable king bed in a very quiet neighborhood, paying extra for the breakfast is well worth it with freshly brewed coffee I would certainly stay there again when in the area if they have availability Thank you for a great stay

Nothing to dislike

The location is in a quiet residential street and was a beautifully designed house. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and attentive host made us most welcome.

I was offered an upgrade from double to Queen room by Booking.com, on arrival at property I found out that the double room had better facilities ie, air con, tv , spa bath, which my " upgrade" did not. Breakfast was included, and although asked what time we wanted breakfast, we were not given a choice of what was included.

beautiful beautiful home with suites in lower level. delicious generous thoughtful breakfast. friendly owners on site.

(bed was a little too firm in the queen suite for my liking - a memory foam mattress topper may improve softness. Bathroom lighting was too bright on the eyes in the night, but still too dim to do makeup or such in the day - a dimmer switch and a brighter hue of bulbs (not the warm temp lights may solve this). These are the only two things i can name that could be better.

The breakfast was amazing. The staff were even better. This privately run B&B has been put together with care and consideration. The couple were very polite, kind and considerate. They really cared about my comfort.

The room said it had air conditioning. It didn't, but it was nice and cool anyways. There was a window with privacy and a fan. So, I wasn't too hot.
