Great location with a sensational view. Around the corner on Pacific St. there are restaurants ( breakfast, high tea, cafe and pizza) as well as a boutique and spa/ nail services. This is a cozy and friendly seaside town. No souvenir shops, but beaches, an eclectic variety of bars and restaurants. The view spans the coastline of the U.S. and Vancouver island. I had a queen bed , private bathroom with shower/ tub and double sinks, a sitting room and a private balcony. The photos are of the exterior and the room. In May, the cost was $310 CA so $110 a night in US.

Nothing. So much nicer than the 3 star and pricier Promenade Hotel on Marine Drive.

This place was absolutely stunning! Location was fantastic as you are only a five minute walk away from the ocean and the longest pier in Canada plus all restaurants you could every need! The house was beautiful and the room was a great size with a wonderful ocean view. The room was very clean and a great size. The Staff were great. Spoke with Jane Li from the time that we booked and communication was great. Any questions I had were answered immediately! Karen the host was also fantastic. My mom had left some items behind when we left and Karen shipped them immediately via Canada Post. All in all what a great place to stay and a great price to top it off! Highly recommend

I didn't like the fact that there were 2 of us and one had the bed and one had the hide a bed.but there was no bedding or pillows for the hide a bed.didnt like the toilet.electricity and water does not mix for me .when I booked the room I said we would be using the hide a bed .so didn't have a very good sleep . Otherwise it's a nice room

We highly recommend this beautiful, quiet home in an ideal location, close to the sea and many restaurants and shops. Very clean and spacious. All bedding, towels, kitchen items, laundry, and cleaning supplies were provided and more than adequate for our family of 4. The washer and dryer were definitely a welcome bonus having stayed 5 nights. Rooms were kept cool with the help of ceiling fans and mid-August heat wasn't an issue. Coming from Saskatchewan aka the "flatlands," the short walk to and from the beach area was surprisingly steep so be prepared for that! 😆 It was a memorable little holiday for our family and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Nothing, it was great all around.

There was no breakfast except for muffins, coffee and tea. However Laura's coffee corner was just 2 minute walk from The Star of the Sea B&B. Excellent breakfast was served at Laura's Coffee Corner.

Adele was amazing. I had contacted her just the day before regarding my asthma and carpets in our room. She air out our room and removed any items that would cause an asthma attack. Adele was very accommodating, caring and lovely. Thank you Adele.

The small adjustable mirror in the bathroom fell apart when moved and the glass broke. Upon examination, we discovered that there was no lock washer holding the bolt in place. This allowed it to work loose.

This place offered a lovely space to spend our time while in White Rock. Nice spacious bedroom and living space with a rooftop deck to lookout on the water. The owners provide a nice warm welcome and provide all the necessities needed for a pleasant stay.

The only down side was the weather, but that's Vancouver for you!

Location was lovely, room size was exactly what we needed for our family of three, snack/breakfast in the room was fabulous, and we had a very lovely host!

It was very warm in the room and it was hard to sleep because of that. The bed was nice, the sofa bed was perfect... Just too warm in the room and we tried to cool it down.

The location was amazing. Close to the beach. Private driveway to park. Condo was clean, shower was great. Bed was comfy. Host was attentive. I forgot my computer...she quickly and efficiently mailed it to me....I received it the next day and was so appreciative of how quickly she handled that.

Could have a larger coffee pot or a Keurig. Had to make many of the little pots of coffee. In hindsight we could have gone up the hill to Laura's coffee shop!

The place was beautiful, spacious and very clean. Love the room with the ocean view. A plate of cookies and croissants was offered. There was yogurt in the fridge. Coffee and tea were at hand. The Host was readily available and very gracious.
