easy to access in a car, but so close to the sky train that you don't need it to get into the city. great facilities.

the frosted glass door on the bathroom meant that only a small area of the bathroom could be used for changing clothes when traveling with friends as silhouettes could be seen. the room key reader on the door also needed to be fixed during the trip but staff were quick to respond and very pleasant and provided a complimentary bottle of wine for the inconvenience.

The staff at the Civic have always treated my husband and I with respect and kindness! I am a patient of Jim Pattison and when ever we need to come into Surrey for an appointment, we always make sure we stay there. When a person's health is in jeopardy there's an extreme amount of stress that goes with it. It's reassuring to know that when we come to the Civic that we are totally taken care of and that we are comfortable and safe! Thank you Civic Hotel! Your amazing!!

Staff, parking, view. Actually the staff were the highlight. Every request was met with a CAN DO attitude. I travel a lot and honestly never crossed a better team. Well done!!!

The crazy over billing to have 2 glasses of wine sent to my room for 2 people. Almost 70 CAD for 2 glasses of house wine. Then ordered one glass of Pinot Noir which was undrinkable ‘corked’ wine. With tip another 37 CAD. Let the whole side down. Felt violated to pay over 100CND for 3 glasses of worst wine ever to enjoy in room.

We had a good stay at the Civic Hotel, Surrey. The hotel looked new and it located near the train/rail station which is very convenience to catch the train to Downtown.

I believe that the price (1200 CAD for 3 normal nights) was a bit too expensive for a 4 stars hotel which is away from the Downtown/Central City, may be we stayed during the peak summer time. We stayed there as there are not many 4* around Surrey.

Everything but the price of the breakfast buffet. Although it was quite nice, there were no other options. The small smoothies were nice.

Only the breakfast buffet was available in the restaurant. A small eater would also have to pay $25. Scrambled eggs were the only egg choices. We left something in the room safe without realizing it. We were at the hotel till 5pm at an event but didn't get a call because their lost and found list wasn't updated until the next day, so we had to pay a round trip taxi fee from Pitt Meadows, a 2 hr trip, to pick it up.

We paid for a corner room that gave fantastic views. The breakfast was good and nighttime room service much appreciated. It is close to the train and bus stations and to Surrey Central shopping centre. All the staff are very nice and helpful.

There was one armchair and one desk chair so the only option to comfortably watch TV or relax was to sit on the bed.

Love the location. It’s an easy walk to surrey central and all the restaurants in the surrounding area. Tim Horton is also right across the street for a quick coffee run. The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice and helpful.

I wouldn’t recommend walking late a night away from the hotel. Around the area you’ll see a lot of homeless people.

it was all so new and modern. the dominion restaurant was great after a long day. the pool was not in service but it was Feb so it didn’t affect our stay. the room was fantastic and check in was easy. parking underground was quite full in the stalls provided. I needed to park in the staff stalls but if a staff member wasn’t in the parkade to help me it would’ve been annoying as all stalls provided to hotel were full. that was the only hiccup. otherwise a great stay and I’d book again.

It was ok I assume it was a franchisees the same as the bar/restaurant onsite as well.THe was limited choice.

There was a issue ,although it is legal to smoke cannabis in Vancouver.I did not appreciate that a smell from another room of cannabis was able to come in the room I was staying in.

Breakfast is taste delicious and variable are good enough

There is mistake on breakfast voucher and staff need me to call booking.com instead of her. It is the fault between booking.com and hotel, expect they help to figure out themselves
