The staff are EXCEPTIONAL. The rooms are pleasant and roomy; this time I didn't have a direct view of the Temple of Poisidon like before, but could see it elsewhere and climb up pretty easily. The beach was great as is the sea -- there were more people than I expected in latter May, from my previous experience. Only one day was this a bit much, but that's not the property's fault! I would come here regularly if I could afford the trip again and again!

The view from the terrace, no big deal; the restaurant prices, but the selection of places to eat is limited in the area if you don't have a car.

The hotel sits on a perfectly shaped bay at the base of the Temple of Poseidon. You can get there by taking a 40-minute transfer from Athens airport that can be arranged by the hotel. Anything that you might need for a lovely vacation is offered by the hotel. The staff is very welcoming. Breakfast was included. There are two restaurants, a gym, and a children's playroom. The air conditioning worked well, as did the Wi-Fi. The water-pressure was perfect. We benefited from a shower and bathtub. A balcony with two chairs provided an amazing view over the sea. There were always beach chairs available. But I should note that we stayed during the week, as we wanted to avoid the weekend. Within easy walking distance there are two independent beachfront restaurants. You can also walk up to the Temple of Poseidon. No loud music played day or night. Standard check in/out 3:00PM and 12:00PM. It was a totally relaxing vacation.

Our room was 22 square meters. By no means is this considered a small room. But I would have liked a larger room. Most larger rooms are family oriented. But there is one that is suitable for a couple, however it was not available.

Fantastic beachfront location and view from our balcony. Beach beds and towels included. Water was clear and there were 2 other restaurants in the immediate vicinity if you wanted a change from eating at the hotel. Town was only a 10 min drive away for local traditional food (recommended). Very friendly reception staff and generally all staff were fantastic. Breakfast was very good and faced the sea. View of Temple of Poseidon fabulous. Its a steep walk up, its ok if you're fit, but if not just drive up its only a few minutes away. If you arrive into Athens I recommend you stay here and start your holiday on a good note. Its only 40mins from the airport.

Nothing.

Great location, on the beach and just ten minutes walk from the Temple of Poseidon which you get a fairly good view of from the hotel, especially in the evening when it's floodlit. The staff are very friendly and only too happy to help and hats off to the restaurant team who really go out of their way to make sure everything is all right and it was. The food, both dinner and breakfast were excellent and very reasonably priced. There's also a more relaxed eating area and bar on the ground floor but the food is very similar to the mani restaurant. Our 3rd floor sea view room with balcony was clean, comfortable, had a good en-suite with good shower/bath and tons of hot water. The air con was super quiet and very efficient. We enjoyed the spacious balcony from which to watch the coming and going of yachts in and out of the little bay. All very relaxing.

Sun loungers on the beach could do with a clean but this is a tiny point and it must be almost impossible to keep them sparkling with sand, sea and suncream landing on them all the time. That's it.

It was an amazing time. Everything was perfect. We were with 2 children, 4,5 year and 6 month baby and it couldn't be a better place Exceptionally clean, the cleaning ladies are perfect Breakfast is not huge, but very fresh and tasty, the girls at the bar knew what we drank and coffee was waiting every morning on our table while we were taking the food. Playroom is suprisingly spacios and very interesting for children Our room was good and modern The view on the temple is breathtaking Restaurant and taverna with so fresh abd tasty food, that we were lazy to go somewhere else. And one of the highlights is the massage. The woman who is doing it, she is magician. It worse to take 1 hour and forget about evefything.

Everything was top

We always make Sounio our first stop each year to Greece. Easy from airport and that first swim in the Agean sea takes all the jet lag out of you and your are ready. Hotel is perfect for a rest and the five star service is a bonus. Breakfast is always wonderful. The little tavernas nearby are fantastic. And 15 minutes either way by car you have many more restaurants. Staff is fantastic.. familiar faces each year. Beach chairs are great and towels included. We love this place. One of the best sunsets in Greece with the Temple of Poseidon in clear view. The full moon was a plus.

All in all for an older property everything was great. They maintain it well.

The location is great, surrounded y mountains with views of the temple of Poseidon. Got the beach just infront of you. Be aware the beach is not private, so it will get crowded during the weekends with people coming from other locations. Breakfast was really good. Dinner options were good as well. Staff was helpful in informing you about anything you needed to know.

The hotel/rooms could be a little but more soundproof. Everytime someone walked across the hallway, it was really noisy. The activities that the hotel promotes are not directly handled by them, they redirect you to where do you need to call, which seemed a little odd if they are promoting them. The room was nice but the bed was not comfortable. The doubled bed setting was noticeable. The location although very nice, is very isolated from everything ( supermarkets, etc..) so either you have your own vehicle or you’ll have to depend on cabs if you need to move around. On a more personal opinion, gym could use a little more attention, very small place with very little equipment so if you’re a gym fanatic like me, keep it in mind.

The temple view rooms also have a good side view of the sea. The bed was comfortable. The room, bathroom, and balcony are spacious. The stars are visible at night! Which is a beautiful thing to see for someone who lives in a large city. Excellent variety at the buffet breakfast! All of the staff were informative, professional, and helpful!

The hotel uses very strongly perfumed cleaning products so it took a while to air out the room when we arrived. Proper side tables by the bed with a drawer or cupboard for storing items would be helpful. There is a large clothes closet, but it's on the other side of the room.

Staff on Reception are friendly and so helpful. The breakfast is excellent with the choice of inside and outside seating. Loved that the property is low rise and right on the safe beach. Great size bedrooms, beautifully cleaned each day, comfy bed, a wonderful sea view from the balcony and always quiet at night.

I didn’t like that at the weekend, the beach was extremely busy. Half the Sun Loungers are Reserved, so Hotel Guests either get forced into the hectic end of the beach with no Restaurant Service or sit on Loungers reserved for Hotel Guests which aren’t actually on the sand.

Best thing is the location, straight on the beach with nice view of the Poseidon temple. Hotel stay includes sunbeds and towels which was great. The beach is nice (mostly sandy) and the water crystal clear. Breakfast was okay, nothing to write home about (they need to do something about the wasps, it was really annoying). Most rooms have direct sea view, ours was fantastic as we were on the top floor (room 304). We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and we ate really well although felt the price was a bit off given the location and ambience. WiFi was very good even when laying down on the beach.

We came in September and felt the price was a bit steep for the quality of the rooms. The hotel feels a bit tired and in need of capex. I think during the peak season the price is just too high for what it offers. No kettle in the room was a big disappointment.
