Staff was amazing: Pu, Marlin, Justin, the Sushi chef, Angie the massage therapist, Skylar at spa reception- these folks made the experience so great and unforgettable. And to the man in overnight housekeeping that killed the surprise cockroach in our room- you are a hero!

The property is absolutely stunning and the grounds are very well-maintained. Food is also excellent! And...Bailey is the absolute best. She went out of her way to find me on property and welcome me back.
The staff should be much more dialed in for this price tag. My room wasn't ready, even though I arrived late at night. I was generally ok with waiting at the bar, but they asked me to come back to the front desk to sign something unnecessary. Then, instead of giving me my room, they sent me back to the bar to wait for another 30min. The same happened at checkout. I had asked for my bags to be brought to the front and to order a taxi, about an hour in advance. I told them where I was having lunch for when the taxi arrived. I was never told when the taxi arrived, and then they couldn't find my bags (which I would have expected to already be in the taxi). The taxi driver was frustrated with them, as was I. Final point, they employ the least amount of locals on the entire coast. So, if you're coming for a Hawaiian experience, it's more superficial. That's a real bummer.
