The pool on the rooftop was a wonderful place to relax and soak up the sun. Although the bar was not open we could use the pool and it was wonderful. The reception staff helped perfectly with our room requests and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff without exception were all polite and friendly, whether it was reception, waiters or cleaners everyone was exceptional. The breakfast was freshly cooked and superb, a wonderful selection of anything you might like and again, hygiene was spot on. Our room was comfortable and we slept well. The shower was powerful and hot. We would not hesitate to stay again, we had a much needed rest, thoroughly enjoyed, thank you for your hospitality.

Rooftop bar not open although out of season and main bar a little cramped, also a comfy chair in the bedroom would be nice. Other than that perfect!

Perfect location. Close to bus stops and local shops. Short walk to the coast and restaurants. Daily cooked British breakfast included as well as Maltese bread and the traditional Maltese pastizzi. Loved the coffee machine in the room and on request a kettle was also provided. Majority of staff at reception and restaurant were courteous and friendly. Rooftop restaurant kindly provided a vegetarian meal so we could attend a Mother's Day lunch.

Sometimes floor in reception area was washed in the morning when guests were walking in and out creating a slipping hazard. On a couple of occasions coffee and juice machines in restaurants were not working but no 'out of order ' notice placed on them so guests were often seen trying to use them. Need to include vegetarian options in their restaurant menu.

We have been staying here once or twice a year for around 7 years now as we have friends living nearby.. The Hotel is family run and nothing is too much trouble. It is very clean and the rooms are spacious and fairly modern. Although this hotel is only rated as a 3* do not be put off. It is well worth it. From May to October there is a roof top bar serving food and drink and the open air swimming pool is already open.Marsasakala is a lovely harbour bay with plenty of bars and restaurants and it is easily accessible to get to the other parts of the island as there is a local bus service that takes you into the heart of Valletta where you can pick up another bus to wherever you want to go. There is also a small beach nearby which serves food and drink all day. If you want something away from the major tourist resorts then this is your place.

Hotel was clean and modern in hall ways, bedrooms and bathrooms. Pool on the rooftop was clean and clear and there were plenty of sunbeds to lay on. Staff were friendly and helped us with our room queries efficiently and without any issues whatsoever. The price was super reasonable for the stay and the drinks in the bar. Breakfast was fab - a great range of good quality food.

Check in was slightly cumbersome, This could be due to us having so many people checking in at the same time but every person had to fill in a card and provide a copy of their passport so it took a long time in a big group.

The facility was beautiful and clean. The room was cozy, and the cleaning staff was excellent. The staff at breakfast was helpful, kind, and very professional. However, only the girls at the reception were professional, kind, and courteous. The men at the reception were not welcoming and didn’t even respond to a simple “hello”!

At the reception on the first day, the girls were very nice, kind, courteous, and helpful. Unfortunately, the boys (especially the one with the white shirt and who is a bit short) were rude; they didn’t return the greeting and were not welcoming. Even when I took the first step, they still didn’t greet me when I said hello. It was clear that he was annoyed by my presence and that of my friend. They should not be at the reception because the foundation of a reception job is to be welcoming and make guests feel good. Since all the other services are excellent, I do not recommend them for the reception.

It's a very nice hotel, the value for money was really very , very good. The room was fully equiped; the fridge, water pot, tea, coffee was inside the room. Spacy cupboards, comfortable bathroom, Good restaurants are around, the sea is literally 2 minutes away. The place is very clean, the rooms were bigger than I expected for this price. The staff was very helpfull, our stay was extended (late check out) with no additional payments (it was possible: out of season), which I really appreciate. The breakfest correct, I would be happy to have a bit more fruits (but the hot egs + hot tomatoes: delicious)

The weather, it was heavy rains during our February stay. But I guess it's out of the hotel control :))

Hotel location was great for me. Marsaskala is local small beautiful city by the sea. Not to many tourists. Price level is good compared to valletta tourist areas. City offers great restaurants for dinner and tavernas for coffee and pastries during day. Also nearby scenery offers good hiking / exploring opportunities by the seaside. Highly recommend to explore Il-Ponta tal-Miguna by the sea. Nearby fishing village marsaxlokk is very much worth visiting also. Public transportation is good and frequent and covers almost the whole island. If you come with your own car there is free hotel parking but there is also plenty of parking space around. Also around hotel there`s small shops where you can buy water, beer, wine, snacks etc...Hotel breakfast was good, no complaints there. Daily cleaning and friendly staff.

Toilet exhaust fan was end of its life. It made lots of noise when lights were on :) Balcony door lock didn`t work. Nothing serious.

The rooms were clean. The breakfast was excellent. And the pool was great. The rooms were very comfortable and the place.was located far enough so it would be quiet and not very far so we can move easily between towns. The staff was very nice except for the last day. The food on the bar is also very good

By the time that we were going to check out we made a mistake.and miscalculated the check out. We thought it was 12:00 instead of 11:00. At 11:30 a lady came and talked very rude to us that we needed to leave. I told her i am sorry and started to cover the bags so we would leave. In 3 minutes she came back and still very rude kicking us out. We didnt like the way she talked to us not that she told us to leave.

The reception team was very helpful and always available. Special thanks to Olga and the other lady at reception (unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was from Serbia and when I asked, she recommended a great local restaurant for dinner). Breakfast buffet has plenty to choose from. The location of the hotel is brilliant, everything is closeby, shops, town center, restaurants, bus stops, even the airport is not too far. I would happily return to this hotel when I am in Malta again.

My bed was not the most comfortable but it was still ok.

On the 1st night we were put into a room with 2 single beds, going back to reception to request another room, they said we would have to wait until the next morning. As there was no availability they put us into an apartment across the road. So in the outcome it worked out better for us as there was an extra room for our cases and a kitchen also a washing machine in the apartment.

As my husband has low mobility the entrance of the apartment had 6 steps he had to climb, once up them it was ok as we had a lift to the 4th floor. As it was very hot I think the pool area should stay open until at least 9 or 10pm.
