We were made very welcome to this immaculate and well-positioned residence. The reality of heritage buildings is stairs, no problem for us. The area is fascinating, dripping with history. Then the ferry into Valetta is a few steps away, so one can experience all of the city but still be able to escape the crowds back at the B&B. There are bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is perfect, and the roof terrace has a great ambience and wonderful views.

A personal preference is to have sheets separate from the doona/duvet, and to have extra pillows immediately available in the room. But one could hardly say that there is anything one “didn’t like” about this place.

I had pleasure of staying at this charming family-run B&B, and I can't recommend it enough! Nelli and Tobias are the heart and soul of this lovely establishment, and their warmth and hospitality truly made my weekend getaway special. Nelli's breakfasts were a highlight of my stay. It was simple but every bite was a treat. It was the perfect way to start each day! Tobias was equally wonderful, offering insightful tips and recommendations that helped me make the most of my time in the area. Whether it was suggesting local attractions or hidden gems to explore, his advice was invaluable and made my mini-holiday feel truly unique. The atmosphere of the B&B was cozy and inviting, making it feel like a home away from home. I left feeling refreshed and grateful for the wonderful experience. Comfortable king-size beds, amazing shower, and bathroom, friendly and very helpful owner/proprietor, very central for ferry and buses, spotless throughout & very clean room, well- thought out breakfast, and no TV in the house which meant it was a peaceful environment.

There were really no downsides to this accomodation. Stairs and stairwell a bit of a chore but you get used to it. I would have liked a kettle in my room but I guess Nelli would have provided me with one if I'd asked but she moved a kettle to a more convenient place for me anyway.

I like Nelli’s house very much. Other than the good location, free parking, clean room, I highly recommend the breakfast at the rooftop. Nalli prepared breakfast every morning with several bread, different fruits, croissant with honey, nice coffee, you could sit there and enjoy the nice view of the town under morning sun for several hours … And Nelli is such a friendly and lovely hostess. You can talk to her and get good advice for restaurants, places to go etc. The day we left was very early she was so kind to prepare sandwiches with fruits for us to takeaway. All in all, we enjoyed the time we spent at her lovely place very much.

The house is located on a main street with a cafe at the ground floor, so it was a bit noisy in the morning, especially during weekends - bring your earplugs.

On the last day of our stay, while waiting for our night flight, we were met with great kindness and willingness from Nelli to leave our luggage in the ground floor kitchen for the whole day, which we could still spend wandering around Valletta. Each morning at Nelli B&B, we savored a delicious and hearty breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Fresh fruit, crisp pastries, ham, cheese, delicious coffee and tea - all with a beautiful view of the picturesque city of Cospicua. The terrace was the perfect place to spend pleasant mornings and watch the hustle and bustle of the city. And what's even better, the rooftop terrace was also a great place to spend beautiful evenings. With a can of beer, we enjoyed breathtaking panoramic views of Cospicua at night. Our stay at Nelli B&B was truly unforgettable. The beautiful rooms, delicious breakfasts and dinners on the terrace with stunning views, and the wonderful atmosphere made it the perfect place for us to relax and unwind. We would highly recommend Nelli B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Cospicua. Thank you Nelli B&B for an amazing stay!

Nelle was a fantastic hostess and made us feel so welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and really spacious. The included breakfast served on the roof terrace was exceptional with a varied spread each morning including a variety of local pastries. Fantastic location too - beautiful views from the room and roof terrace, great selection of riverside restaurants, much less crowded than Valetta with more of a local feel but with a very short walk to the ferry to hop over to Valetta (runs very frequently and no need to book in advance). Public transport is incredibly easy and inexpensive to get to anywhere on the island. We would 100% stay here again if returning to Malta.

Nelli is extremely concerned about the comfort of her guests; in our case, even before we arrived to her establishment with taxi assistance from the airport for a late evening arrival. We stayed for 4 days...every single day she served a delicious breakfast, changing up the offerings daily so we wouldn't get bored (although completely unnecessary!) She gave us helpful travel and tourism information too. If felt like we were staying at a dear friend's home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and we wanted for nothing. The location was excellent as well.

Everything surpassed expectations.

Nelli is very friendly, supportive and knowledgeable and lives in the house herself, so always approachable. Location is ideal if you don't want to stay in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Sliema or Valletta, but directly across from the ferry that gets you there in 15 minutes.

Maltese life starts early. Don't be surprised if the Café next to Nelli's has its first chatty guests at 04:30 am.

Nelli’s was excellent. A fantastic view from the room and the rooftop garden, where we ate our breakfast each morning. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of selection. Each morning there was fresh, local produce - a great way to taste some Maltese delicacies. Nele was very friendly, welcoming and full of information about places to visit and eat. Nelli’s is just a few metres from the foot ferry to Valletta. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

The landlady is incredibly nice and the location of the accommodation is great. A bus stop right in front of the accommodation, many good restaurants very close by and also the ferry is only a few hundred meters away. The breakfast is also great and varied.

If you are sensitive to noise, be sure to take earplugs with you.
