I booked The Lily Pad at short notice as we wanted to get away for a couple of days. The room was slightly small but comfortable and provided everything we needed for our stay. After visiting Kingston Lacey, Christine greeted us on arrival. Christine is an extremely friendly and helpful host, who informed us where we might eat in the evening and locations for breakfast the next morning. She had replaced the duvet with much cooler bedding on the large, comfy bed and provided a fan which was welcome for the hot night!! We followed Christine's advice and ventured to Poole Quay where there was an amazing motorcycle meet with approximately 450 to 500 motorbikes. Incredible! We had already spotted somewhere to buy fish and chips, Harlees, Corfe Mullen. The food was incredible! A perfect location for breakfast was Vines, on our way to Bovington Tank Museum.

The road outside the property is a main route to Poole; although it's very busy at certain times, it is quiet overnight.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and easy to contact. The room was really comfortable. Fresh milk, a fridge and a microwave were provided. The internet was reliable. The location was perfect for us. There was ample parking. Toiletries were provided. The kettle was pre-filled and there was a jug of drinking water provided. Tea and coffee were provided, as well as biscuits. The room was quiet and felt private. It felt secure. Check-in was easy and available until late. The property was easy to find.

The TV channels weren't working but we could use the Smart features. When we were looking for something, we found there were a couple of packets left by previous guests still under the bed. It would have been better value for money if something had been provided for breakfast. Decaff options would have been good, too.

Very convenient location for us, near family. But also great to be so central for exploring the area. Great local amenities too - we took up the host’s suggestion of Cafe Gardenia for breakfast, which was excellent. The room was self-contained and private, and well equipped with everything we could need. The provision of a fan was welcome on a hot day!

Lovely room in a lovely location with plenty to do nearby. Very clean and comfortable, the bed was extremely comfy. The host was very welcoming and eager to help. Would definitely stay again of we are in the area.

Could do with a hook to hang your coats, but apart from that it was wonderful.

Perfect overnight stay, easy on site parking which is crucial for me after a long drive. Lovely greeting and access from Christine. 5-10 minute walk to the high street for plentiful choices of excellent restaurants. Very stylish room and clean bathroom, the pictures do it justice. Thank you

Lovely little comfortable room with everything we needed for our one night stay. Plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Parking right outside the door.

The pillows were too thick and hard for me as I have arthritis in my neck so unfortunately didn't sleep very well but they suited my husband..

The room was just what I needed. Very comfortable and all the facilities I needed. Having it's own entrance was nice as I could come and go as I needed to.

Unfortunately the smoke alarm went off for no reason that I could determine. Probably a low battery.

Place is great and Sebastian was really helpful.. parking right outside, quite spacious for typical UK houses, small table to sit, TV.. will definitely reocmmend.. market just 10 min walk

I would change two things, washroom handle is coming a bit loose and I almost got stuck (it opens on other side); heating- the room was pretty cold when we got in (not a big issue as they turned heating on almost immediately when I asked)

We just needed an overnight stop before catching a ferry from Poole. This was ideal. We had messages from Christine on the day of arrival advising us how to the check in is she wasn’t there. Nice clean comfortable room and just a short drive to get to the ferry.

We had really friendly hosts who took care of everything. The room was very cozy, tastefully furnished and included all you need. You get a lot for the money.

The bed was a bit too soft for my taste but preferences vary.
