The Full English breakfast was superb. I asked the waiting staff to complement the chefs. In particular, I enjoyed our request for crispy bacon. cooked to perfection! The only omission that disappointed us were all butter croissants.A young girl named Grace was most charming and helpful. Lack of parking for LODGE guests is a problem, plus the constant bottleneck of cars for the sports facilities. The only viable solution would be to redesign the golf course and concrete the area adjacent to the LODGE, but presumably this would incur the wrath of the golfing fraternity!

The parking issues described above, exacerbated for owners of large vehicles such as my Ford Mondeo , 4.86 metres long. Also improved lighting for the steep incline entrance from the approach road should be installed for road safety.

The staff were very helpful, polite, and friendly. The room was spacious, full of natural light, and very clean. The bathroom, complete with a bathtub, was also clean and pleasant. Breakfast was good and satisfying. We enjoyed lovely views of the golf course from our window. The overall atmosphere was quiet and peaceful — perfect for a relaxing stay. There weren’t many parking spaces directly in front of the lodge, but it’s a minor issue as there were plenty of spaces available elsewhere on site.

The staff were very welcoming. The bar/restaurant was very nice with a good choice of food and drink, we had tapas on arrival, which were very very good, and we had breakfast in the morning which was perfect. The lodge was set away from the clubhouse it was lovely and quiet and very comfortable good WiFi and lovely shower. You can also use all the facilities during your stay gym, pool, classes etc.

There’s a back pathway leading from the lodge onto the road, that’s a great way to walk into Bournemouth, about 10mins to town 20mins to beach. But it could do with some signs and possibly a light or two but definitely a sign.

A Wonderful Escape into Nature Absolutely loved the location — it truly felt like stepping into a different world, far away from the city's noise. Surrounded by nature, yet conveniently close to the town centre. I would definitely come back again! The staff were incredibly helpful and always made me feel welcome. Our room was clean and serviced daily, which was much appreciated. Plus, the free car park was a big bonus — another reason to choose this place!

The only downside? I parked under a tree, and after four days, my car was completely covered in bird droppings — so maybe avoid those shady spots if you're driving!

Lovely Room, amazing facilities, fantastic value for money. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Was only a one night stay but we utilised the pool, spa and gym - all really excellent facilities. The bar is great, we had lunch and dinner there and both were really nice and very reasonably priced. The terrace outside was very peaceful and ambient allowing us to have a few drinks and relax after our spa and again after dinner. Breakfast looked good but we had to head off and leave early so only had time for a quick coffee in the bar. We were proactively told that we could stay on there all day and enjoy the facilities after check-out if we wanted to…..we wish we could have, and will do next time if we can. There was a slight problem with the bar till/computer so unfortunately I was unable to charge bar purchases to my room at that time, staff were extremely apologetic and we were given a couple free drinks each for “the inconvenience” but there really wasn’t any inconvenience it was fine - HOWEVER the gesture was VERY much appreciated, thank you! I have been coming to Bournemouth for a number of years and used to live near by, but had never heard of Myrick Park Lodge before this stay (just knew the golf course was there)- so for me this is a complete hidden gem! I/we WILL be returning SOON…. with my golf clubs next time! Already exploring partner clubs/accommodation near Oxford where I now live.

Absolutely nothing !

The place is lovely, even more so if you're a fan of golf... parking is straight outside The Lodge (which is a separate building housing the "hotel" rooms, surrounded by the golf greens) but if you can't park outside The Lodge there's more parking available further on... however at busy times the 2nd car park can be quite full... it's used by all the local people who use the gym/pool/excersise classes/sauna, jacuzzi and steam room... which are in a building approx 100m away from The Lodge... hope you're following this!? (basically two completely detached sites, on a golf course, one housing the rooms, one housing everthing else)... the breakfast is good, there are quite a few options... the food offered for lunch and dinner is reasonably priced and there's a mediocre selection....as for the drink prices- I'd remortgage your house before arriving here if you're planning on buying drinks from the bar... the rooms are well appointed and nicely furnished... the aforementioned gym, pool ,sauna etc are well maintained and, we found, not too busy

The drink prices at the bar are ASTRONOMICAL... £13 for one (large) glass of wine... I kid you not... a friend who lives nearby remarked "Even Rick Stein doesn't charge that much!"... so £20 for one wine and one pint of Guiness. The only other fault was the room we were allocated on arrival (Room 7)... we had asked for a quiet room prior to our stay and were assured that (after consultation with housekeeping) our room was considered quiet... it was next to a dual carriageway... and underneath a very noisy family... one of whom thought it amusing to break wind quite loudly every so often... our 2nd room, which we were moved to after complaining (Room 4)... was a delight... and nowhere near people who think it funny to fart loudly... bliss...

The location is amazing. Very close to the beach and restaurants but quiet. The surroundings are green and leafy with a lovely park nearby. We had a room beside the wooded area which was nice. The room was very clean with a great shower and a comfortable bed. The staff are what makes this place excellent. They are very welcoming and helpful. I unfortunately needed a trip to A&E and the first aid I received on site was brilliant. I even received a phone call the next day from the team asking how I was. A lovely touch. Thank you to the team. We will definitely be back - hopefully this time without a sprained ankle!!

The Lodge could do with a bit of a refresh but it has more reasons to return.

The requests before arrival were always responded to and made available. The welcome from staff was great, even though we arrived early. The pool and spa were excellent along with the gym, all spotlessly clean. The room was clean and well appointed with shower gel, slippers and robes. The carpet could have been cleaner but everything else was spotless. The staff in the leisure facilities inc the cafe, bar were friendly and helpful and the duty manager on the evening of 29 may must have a clone as we kept seeing him doing lots of different jobs always pleasant and with a smile. The evening food was lovely and waiter really helpful. The breakfast offering was excellent with cereal and choice from menu.

The only thing that could have been better was the cooked full breakfast. Although nicely presented the bacon had a peculiar taste and texture the sausage was undercooked and the egg did not taste of anything. Unfortunately I could not eat it. The toast was good though and there were plenty of other choices. Also the coffee provided was extremely weak and I asked the waitress if she would mind making a stronger pot of coffee of one from the machine as I like my coffee strong. The reply was “I don’t like strong coffee and don’t understand how people can drink that”. She did however bring a second pot but this was no different from the first. So gave up and left. Shame as a good breakfast would have put this rating to excellent.

Property was lovely and clean, people were ever so friendly, use of the fitness centre was a great plus and was great to use (although the stairs down to the pool were very slippery and I did stumble on the last few steps), and it’s a short 5-10-minute drive away from main Bournemouth. Lovely touch was the biscuits in the room that were there to have a nice cup of tea with - you don’t get them as much anymore like you used to at Premier Inn’s so that was nice, especially as we didn’t have any food with us for that night and don’t believe there was much around. It’s a basic room with everything you need and it does the job - if you’re looking for more I would look somewhere else, but couldn’t fault it for the price.

Although a TV is a small part, or no part, of a hotel stay, it was slightly annoying that the TV was on the right of the beds as opposed to in front because you have to turn your neck to watch. The beds are also a tad on the small side (I’m just under 6ft); I struggled to rest entirely comfortably as my feet were a bit over the edge and width-wise you can’t move too much. The parking situation is also a bit annoying, it feels like there needs to be more spaces for cars and also for cars to come up to the property or to the fitness centre without giving way at different points. Not very well-lit up at night too coming up the drive.

A comfortable room within a lovely lodge, our room was clean, tidy, comfortable and welcoming. The bar/restaurant was well laid out and not too busy, the food was of a good tasty standard and as expected for the venue. Ideally located for a walk into Bournemouth.

Full Breakfast was included with our booking and included tea and coffee. On our first morning a Cappuccino with breakfast was not an issue. The second morning, a different server and I was told a Cappuccino was extra money and I could only have black coffee or coffee with milk !!
