I highly recommend staying at St Leonard's Farmhouse. It is the best B&B that you will ever have the privilege to stay at. Tania and Jon are amazing hosts; extremely warm and welcoming and happy to assist with anything. The house itself is just beautiful, and the decor is gorgeous. Our room (a king room) was generously proportioned. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was a great size with a fabulous shower and gorgeous claw foot bath. The bed linen and everything about the room was perfect. Tania and Jon have thought of everything. The breakfast provided is absolutely fabulous. Again, everything has been thought of. The food was cooked just as you like it, and you are never going to leave the table hungry. During the time that we stayed at St Leonard's Farmhouse, Tania and Jon provided us with really helpful information regarding all the must see's and must dos in the local area and wider areas of Dorset. We had an amazing time. Thank you again Tania and Jon!!! We will definitely return.
There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was fabulous

It was beautiful. Our room was large and has been decorated and furnished stylishly and to a high standard. Bathroom was immaculate. We booked the deluxe king room. Everything was very clean. The garden has been done out beautifully and guests can use the seating areas or have breakfast outside if they wish. The breakfast room has a lovely large display area in the old fireplace which changes with the seasons apparently. This is interesting to look at whilst eating breakfast. Jon and Tania are very warm and welcoming. We loved it here. It’s also a short walk to the local Blandford Forum town centre for evening meals / drinks.
Nothing.

Loved the whole ambience of the place and the history. Jon and Tania were fabulous hosts and gave a bit of background to the place. Fabulous original map in the dining room. Single room was very comfy bright and airy. Loved the window seat. Bathroom, although separate, was perfectly appointed. Breakfast was cooked to your own requirements and was piping hot. Lovely choice of cereals, fruit etc. I will definitely be making a return visit.
Nothing really. If you like tv then channels are a bit restricted, but who wants to stay in and watch the telly, when you have such lovely countryside to explore?

Everything about the property is beautiful. It has a real homely feel and the decor is delightful. St Leonards Farmhouse is ideally situated and only a few minutes walk from Blandford Forum town. The owners, Tanya and John are the best hosts you could ask for. They are wonderful people and nothing is too much bother for them. We felt like part of a family and didn’t want to leave. We will return though and can’t wait. The bedroom was so comfortable and a very good size. The bed itself gave a wonderful nights sleep. The bathroom was gorgeous with a proper bath on legs and a rainfall shower that was perfect. Breakfast was perhaps the best breakfast we’ve had anywhere. John cooks it all fresh. My wife opted for salmon and scrambled eggs whereas I had to have the full English every morning. The bacon was from the local butchers and was some of the best I have ever eaten, along with the sausage. I woke up every morning craving the breakfast, it was so good. If you’re staying in the Blandford area, please don’t hesitate to stay here. It’s by far the best there is. Thank you Tanya and John for the best experience. Can’t wait to return.

What's not to like?! Probably one of the nicest places I've stayed! From start to finish, everything was perfect! Amazing hosts Tania and Jon could not have been more welcoming and eager to make sure we had everything we needed. The whole house was beautiful with such attention to detail in every room and the garden. The bedroom was gorgeous (twin room), very homely with everything you could need, very comfy beds, kettle, hairdryer, heater, fans (which were needed) and a fabulous shower and even bath robes and nice big bath towels! The breakfasts were 100% the best I've had in a hotel, I tried the full english and the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, both cooked to perfection 👌 Thank you so much for looking after us so well, I can't recommend this place enough! Stay there! It will be the best decision you make!! 😁

The room was small but well-equipped. Breakfast was excellent. The host, Tania, went out of her way to facilitate a slightly-earlier check-in which was appreciated. There was even a well-behaved squirrel in the room, adding to the rustic ambience, although it was somewhat larger than the real thing and carried a shopping bag... whilst the name suggests a rural location, it's actually at the far end of Blandford's main street so the shopping bag made sense.
Nothing at all, and I'd be very happy to stay there again.

Beautiful property, well placed on quiet main road so easily accessible and within walking distance to town, shops, and numerous eateries. Tania and Jin were the perfect hosts. The room was immaculate, well presented, comfy bed and pillows, great en-suite and could not fault the cleanliness. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice for everyone. Parking available, on site, electric car chargers within minutes drive. A must to boom if you are in the area.
Loved everything!

Excellent breakfast, loved the veggie option and fruit/yoghurt. Very spacious and comfortable room, lovely bed, slept very well. Easy to park car. Very hospitable and welcoming hosts, very friendly. Excellent location
Nothing, but make sure you let them know in advance of any dietary requirements. They are very accommodating, but advance notice really help them.

Excellent breakfast, including very good provision for a vegan. Friendly hosts. Very clean and well looked after. Good location, an easy distance from the centre of town, river walks etc.
No natural light in the bathroom. The TV was quite a long way from head of the bed, but it was difficult to manoeuvre the heavy chair into a nearer position for watching, and then it restricted access at the side if the bed.

I drove to St Leonards straight from the airport where, unfortunately, someone had smashed my car window, and it being the weekend I couldnt get it fixed. But the owners of St Leonards were so helpful, they taped the window up so i could drive the next morning. So kind and thoughtful of them. St Leonards is a gorgeous place to stay. The room and bathroom were spotless. Everything is modern, and there was so much attention to detail. Breakfast was fantastic too! Recommend highly.
