Lovely peaceful area, friendly staff and the food in the restaurant was extremely good. The venison was amazing. Really like that they source local produce. Lovely breakfast too.

The only thing we didn’t like about the property was the bed. It was a bit small (my husband’s feet poked out the end of the bed and he’s only 5.11) you could also feel the springs in the mattress and hear them when you got on and off the bed. Unfortunately not a great night’s sleep.

Everything was great - staff, food, location. Rooms are cute and very cozy, making you really immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the English contryside. The surrounding area is so peaceful, so green and so beautiful.

Everything was amazing but please note that it's a bit secluded and you need to drive if you want to go shopping or eat elsewhere.

Great location with free parking - really nice little village with ford across the road. Dog friendly in all areas with no extra charge! Rooms spacious & great bathroom with modern double shower. Nice little free toiletries. Great idea to have boot room area particularly as the weather during our stay was atrocious! Breakfast was really good cooked to perfection and piping hot with fresh local produce.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and would have been happy to extend it given the opportunity. The room was clean spacious and comfortable and given that they are built around the courtyard it felt as if we had our own patio outside. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and the food was well presented and delicious. The location in a peaceful country hamlet between Blandford and Wimbourne was perfect for a relaxing break and very dog friendly. An absolute gem.

We could not fault a thing in regard to our stay, it was a perfect short break.

We arrived late in the evening. The room was not ready, not due to the staff but due to another guest's folly which caused a delayed check-in. Staff took great care of us while the room was being cleaned and prepared by offering brevarges and not charging us. Rooms are spacious & clean and very private. There is even a playarea for little one if you have some time. The food is great and there is a pub with an amazing menu if you are in the mood for a drink.

The Langton Arms is a lovely village pub in a pretty village with thatched cottages, country lanes and ford. If you like the countryside and peaceful surroundings then you will love this. The pub has been styled with lots of attention to detail.

The pub goes to a lot of effort to meet any feedback so no disappointments.

Loved the location, gorgeous little village. One of the best dog friendly places we’ve stayed in, most places would make you have dinner outside but there is a doggie section in the restaurant. Lovely garden. Such friendly and helpful staff. It was my husbands 40th and we had one of the best meals we’ve had in a longtime, thank you!

Absolutely nothing!!

The setting - beautiful surrounded by the beautiful English countryside.

Few noises of a nighttime - perhaps the boiler in one of the rooms but wouldn’t put us off staying again.

Lovely location surrounded fields. Very nice pub with one of the best pub food menu I have seen and tasted. The room was also clean and comfy.

Due to the layout of the room the bathroom is quite colder than the bedroom.

Staff so very helpful we had to check out very early before breakfast so staff made us a picknick breakfast/lunch

There was nothing to dislike will be back as regular to an event close
