Breakfast was fantastic and both hosts were incredibly friendly and also very helpful! Bed was super comfortable and the bathtub was a dream. Quiet and peaceful location as well, perfect for unwinding which is why we picked to stay here.

The curtains were a bit too thin for the summer months and the sunlight really started to light up the room from around 4am but if you are prepared and travelling with a sleep mask you should be fine. Didn’t bother us monumentally in the end as we just covered our eyes but was a surprise on our first night there.

The accommodation was excellent. Our room was really spacious, with a small sofa and room to sit and relax. It was also a lovely light room with plenty of windows. The ensuite bathroom was really lovely and spacious The breakfast was excellent, with cereals, toast, a full English breakfast, juice and tea or coffee There was plenty of room to park. A lovely, peaceful place to stay

We booked at Gorse Farm House partly because of the excellent ratings and we were not disappointed. We would definitely endorse all the good reviews. Our room was light and airy, the bed extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. We had all we needed in the room and there was even a box of 'useful' things (e.g. paracetemol and a torch) in one of the cupboards. Breakfast was also excellent. Thank you Wendy and Lee for a very pleasant stay and for all the local knowledge!

It's difficult to find anything to criticise, the only thing I would mention is that it would have been nice to have a (disposable?} tooth mug or glass in the bathroom.

Wendy & Lee were exceptional hosts, extremely friendly, welcoming, engaging and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely, well presented and beautifully cooked, catering for different requirements. They happily offered advice about eating out in the evening. They were happy for us to access the garden. We were able to park the car under a bespoke car port. The property was incredibly peaceful and quiet and in a beautiful location. We felt very much like Wendy & Lee were friends, and wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend them to our family and friends. A really superb experience.

The only minor inconvenience was having a shower in a free-standing bath.

Wendy and Lee run this wonderful B&B, everything is just perfect, it is spotless clean, the breakfast is amazing, the room is beautiful but most important is the hosts. We enjoyed our conversations and their hospitality. I highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time at this charming and peaceful Bed and Breakfast with two friends and my girlfriend. Wendy and Lee took great care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed, from a delicious breakfast to a conveniently prepared iron for the shirts we required for a wedding. The place was impeccably clean, and we enjoyed a wonderful bath and comfortable bed. Overall, it was a delightful and enjoyable experience, and I would certainly recommend it to others.

I found the bed rather hard and I hadn't realised the bathroom, altho private, was not en suite (I didn't take a dressing gown!) but not a big deal!

Outstanding from start to finish. Warm welcome. Beautiful farmhouse, in idyllic setting. Sympathetically restored with original features. Clean and light room. Tasty breakfast. Carport parking. We had a lovely two day stay. Wonderful location. All round, perfect for our plans for the weekend.

Wendy and Lee were very professional and attentive, but friendly, relaxed and helpful, They are very knowledgeable about the local area. Very quiet location, clean, comfortable room, yummy breakfast. Well done both of you!
