The studio is beautifully appointed with a lovely area for having a meal plus a toaster, microwave and fridge for preparing simple meals. A fabulously comfortable bed with lovely linen. A strong shower and plenty of hot water and lots of little extras in the studio such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, complimentary cereals for breakfast, milk, tea and coffee, ordnance survey maps and information on the area. Dogs are also welcome. Sara is an excellent host, never intrusive but checks in to see that all guests are happy and have all they require. A real bonus was keeping my car under cover in its own designated space. The studio is in a lovely tranquil area with beautiful views of the farmland and horses. Highly recommended.

An extremely friendly and professional welcome by Sara in a very comfortable cozy and compact accommodation. A patio area to relax in a beautiful picturesque environment. Sara made a delicious breakfast and the studio included outstanding accessories to use. Cleanliness excellent and comfortable furniture. We would definitely like to return.

If nitpicking, not at all detracting from the stay, I would suggest a tall lamp for soft lighting in the evening would make it even more homely. Perhaps an additional small towel each for drying hair.

The room was clean and well-equipped and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast delivery was superb. Coach house setting (above garage) was perfect for our dog, who likes his peace and quiet at night.

The lane has terrifyingly fast traffic and no pavement, so dog walking is problematic. There is a short walk available across the paddock, but dogs need to be on lead because of other animals.

Priors oak is located in a peaceful corner outside the village, the accommodation was clean and has everything you need for your stay. A few extra touches like milk, juice and biscuits were appreciated. Our host Sara was very welcoming so in all we would definitely recommend and we will be visiting again.

There is nothing to dislike

It was lovely and had nice views across the field , set in a perfect location nice and quiet , the host Sara was lovely and very welcoming and made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend to anyone , wanting to escape and enjoy a peaceful time in the countryside , you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely quiet location with own access to studio room. Location was ideal for my visit to Sturminster Newtons The Exchange being only 10-15mins drive away.

There was nothing to dislike. Will definitely be looking to return again next year.

The view, the warm welcome on arrival, the food, very comfortable, felt like home from home.

A bit more communication between us n Sara, regarding any things we may need, like towels n is everything ok while we was there.

The breakfast was absolutely fabulous,the best we have ever had in a hotel or b and b. The studio was immaculately clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the hostess, it was a delight to stay there.6

Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and a huge comfortable bed! As soon as you open the private door and walk upstairs, it's very homely and there's lots of brochures to look at while you enjoy some tea and biscuits. Delicious hot breakfast was brought right on time and Sara is an absolute pleasure to see when you come and go. 100% will be back.

A loft conversion so some parts of the ceiling are quite low and my 6ft4 companion struggled a bit. Other than that, I can't fault it!
