The property was amazing. I was greeted by Rupert who helped with my luggage. He kindly offered me a drink and I was able to sit in the lovely garden having a pot of tea. I was in the Blue Room which was lovely. Very spacious and light. The bathroom was large with a roll top bath and a wet room shower. The room had everything you needed including a full size kettle/iron/ironing board/hairdryer. Breakfast was lovely and I enjoyed sitting in the conservatory looking out at the garden. Rupert was a really nice host and I was very pleased that I had booked this accommodation as part of my stay in the Dorset area. His dog Nutmeg was very sweet!
Everything was great.

Attractive building with large rooms (we had the Blue Room) and set into the hillside with large rear garden where we sat in a thatched circular seated arbour drinking our welcome coffee listening to the bird’s singing in the surrounding trees. A lovely way to relax after a long journey. Rupert was a charming host who gave us a warm welcome and offered to bring our drinks into the garden where we also had the picnic we had brought with us, which we ate in the light of the setting sun. Rupert also cooked excellent breakfasts! We would recommend this to others and will be back.
Nothing.

Rupert welcomed us when we arrived and showed us to the lovely warm Blue Room. Everything was perfect including the spacious bathroom with roll top bath and walk in shower. The main bedroom room was spacious, with comfortable bed and a mixture of lighting. Full English Breakfast was served both mornings at a time to suit us and Rupert made some suggestions for our day ahead in Sherborne and Yeovil. Wonderful weekend break.
We arrived after dark and were unable to locate the B&B easily. A lite sign might have been helpful. However, if we had arrived in daylight we would have found easily as we did next day.

Comfortable bed, great shower and spacious room. Excellent breakfast and generous tea and coffee facilities in the room. Stunningly beautiful location. Extremely friendly and helpful owner - Thank you Rupert for being flexible with our arrival time. And of course Nutmeg the dog!
Nothing, we loved everything about our stay. Would come again if visiting the area for a longer period of time. It would be helpful to add some driving instructions about which way to approach the property from to avoid the tight turning into it.

Lovely location (very in the sticks) quiet & peaceful lovely attentive host Rupert & little nutmeg. Characterful property with quirky interesting artefacts & artwork. The room was light bright and spacious. Large bathroom. Breakfast was perfectly cooked by Rupert.
A few cobwebs here & there and a few dusty corners but it is an older property so to be expected. Our mattress needed replacing, it was very hard and there were some springs poking out.

We stayed in the family room with my wife and two little ones. The room was clean and tidy and the roll top bath was a lovely addition. The host was exceptional very kind and not too attentive to the point that it is annoying he left us alone and helped us where needed. The breakfast was served sitting in the conservatory it was beautiful. My daughter had hers sitting in the well kept garden. Thank you for a great stay.

Fabulous room, huge bathroom with his and hers basin, scrumptious breakfasts and Rupert could not have been a more responsive and welcoming host. He provided a lot of recommendations and where to eat. We went to the monthly market in Sherborne which was the main purpose of our visit. We were not disappointed. Overall, a great short stay and would highly recommend this accommodation where you will be warmly greeted by Rupert and Nutmeg.
Nothing.

It was spacious and characterful with a lovely garden! We were in the blue room and there was a spot to put everything. A long mirror and a dressing table mirror by the window so plenty of natural light!! Hosts Camilla and Rupert were attentive and made an outstanding breakfast with literally a choice of anything. Proper coffee and the superb dog Nutmeg.
Shame about road noise but it didn’t spoil our stay at all.

What a wonderful gem we have found. Gorgeous spacious room, and bathroom. Love the Victorian style bath. Bed so comfy had the best night's sleep. Very quiet. Rupert and Camilla were super friendly and helpful. Perfect hosts. The breakfast was delicious. Incredible value for money. We have stayed in ,5 star hotels that don't match this standard. We will definitely return. And definitely recommend.
Quite difficult to get a taxi from the property in the evening. Good tip is to book well in advance.
