Our room was very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. It had a kettle and even a small fridge. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed our stay very much. We didn't to to the pub but we did take advantage of a curry van that sets up shop by the village hall on Thursday nights. There is also a local shop. Parking was convenient and wifi worked well. Though the property is on a main road our room was facing the garden so we mainly heard birds.

The village is ok but is cut through by a main road so not the sort of place to stroll about. However, the quality of the accommodation made up for the lack of charm in the village itself.

Beautiful house and lovely room fresh clean with coffee and tea facilities and fridge. It was a great location for the teddy rocks festival where I was performing so a 10 minute drive easy entry with key lock system and plenty of instructions and Wi-Fi would definitely use again Lovely period property

Unfortunately, no facilities for breakfast would’ve been nice to have a cooked breakfast included otherwise nothing to complain about

Teresa was an amazing host and super helpful, guiding us to our room and showing us around. She provided a lovely little coffee and snack area with ice cold milk and water, as well as access to Wifi and a TV. The bedroom was very beautiful and clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a great bath and useful signage. A lovely view from the small window and lots of comfy pillows.

During the night you can somewhat hear cars and the bar across the street, as well as some background noise from the fridge and pipes but didn't really bother us!

The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The shower was decent. There's no breakfast in the property but there was a good coffee maker and kettle in the room with plenty of coffee pods, teabags and milk, and we brought our own pastries so that worked out well. The pub across the road did good food, and the TV was smart so we could log in to netflix. Teresa was not on site but was very responsive on messaging. Entry was with a key safe which worked fine.

The only thing was the fridge was quite noisy and it made it hard for my partner to sleep, so if you're reactive to noise make sure you bring earplugs.

We had a lovely stay in a spacious, comfortable room. It is in a lovely village with a picturesque garden and parking area. It is ideally situated opposite a lovely pub, where good food is served. Everything was clean and tidy, and what little service we needed was prompt and friendly. The bed felt hard when sat on, but was surprisingly comfortable. Checking in and out using the key safe was easy. The coffee machine was great, but might help if there was a list of what flavour/type the pods are.

Not a lot to dislike, but the bedroom blind could do with a blackout curtain like the bathroom had. The fridge was a little noisy as well. This may be due to it being on a slightly too small table, causing it to tilt. Didn't keep me awake, but my wifes a very light sleeper.

It was perfect, Teresa was very nice. Everything was super clean. The room was very big and there was a lovely bathroom. This won’t be our last stay here. The pub on the other side of the street was perfect too!

As there is no breakfast included, it would have been nice to have a little table in the room, so you don’t have to eat on the bed or standing up… (because there is a fridge so you can store your foods)

This was a long weekend getaway with my friends. We planned to go on Brownsea island and were looking for an overnight stay. This place turned out to be conveniently located. The house definitely has its own character. The interior reflects its heritage and is tastefully decorated to modern standards. My room was peaceful and comfortable. Real coffee and biscuits was a big bonus.

Teresa was so helpful as we had to reorganise due to a date mix up and accommodated us that very same day. The room and particularly the bathroom were clean and well furnished with tea, coffee and fridge provided. Parking was easy in the large drive and the independent key collection was ideal.

Furniture was under the eaves and a bit difficult to access, could be solved by just pulling it forward a foot or so

We liked that we could check ourselves in and the room itself was just what we were after. It was clean and bright and near a pub so all good.

The TV appeared to be internet only and we couldn't get anything to play so not sure about that (might have been user error!). Only other thing we'd have liked would be a pint of milk in the fridge to make a cuppa :-)

Period property so bedroom and bathroom large. The self service continental breakfast was of good quality and choice. Although next to a road inn a quiet location.

Being a period property the rooms felt a little damp in early October. The stairs were narrow and steep to the 2 first floor bedrooms. The entrance from the road into the courtyard was very dark and difficult to spot at night. Helped being across the road from a well lit pub. The proprietor was very pleasant but only met her twice so on my own in the house the majority of the time.
