We stayed here as we were going to Tiger Day at Bovington Camp Tank Musuem. The pub was situated perfectly for the short journey to the location. Plenty of space in the car park. Breakfast was continental which disappointed my husband, as he would have liked the option of a cooked breakfast. This was due to the more remote location, and the difficulty in getting a chef in the mornings. However, what was on offer was perfectly good. The room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were good. The room was clean, and had adjustable aircon/heating. The bar and restaurant food was excellent, and good value. The steak we had the first night was one of the best I have had. The staff were friendly and helpful. If we go for Tankfest next year, we would definitely consider staying here again.
As mentioned above, the option of a cooked breakfast would have been better, but we could understand the difficultly of providing this.

Yet another lovely stay at the Frampton Arms . We always request the same room no 12 . The staff , as always are lovely and friendly
Rooms do need a refresh with a lick of paint but it didn't spoil our stay. We didn't have breakfast as we prefer a cooked breakfast when away which is such a shame the hotel has stopped doing them . Food in the restaurant was lovely but not as extensive as it used to be which is a shame . Saying that we really enjoyed what we had . We were there the week before Christmas but we were disappointed with the lack of decorations, small tree in restaurant only and no log fire burning of a night in the bar area

Very nice place to stay and for us it was great. Room was comfortable, clean and a good choice of toiletries provided. Restaurant was excellent.
The restaurant closed at 1830 on a Sunday and this is not mentioned in the description of the place. A Dutch family arrived after this time and received a curt “restaurant is closed “. In itself it’s understandable it closed, but there seemed little apology, no suggestions about alternatives, no suggestions about takeaways close by. The breakfast is described as continental or buffet which suggests a choice. It is just a continental breakfast and not much of a choice offered.

Very clean, staff friendly, rooms well appointed and cosy. Breakfast supplied a good choice of continental breakfast. Evening meal tasty. Although next to a railway station , trains not heard.
Minor things. Air con doing its own thing and noisy. Extractor in bathroom going on for ages, noisy. Only soy milk as an alternative to cows milk and that is disliked by many. Coffee cold at breakfast. Fire alarm going off early in the morning but that was a fault so difficult to anticipate ! Light out over pub sign so I drove by in the dark and rain and was taken on a long detour to find it. Main point was that our rooms were outside the main building and we could not find obvious information in our rooms of how to contact someone out of hours for emergency or information. Hopefully these points are constructive and can be thought about.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I had been asked before arrival if I wanted a ground or first floor room. I had chosen ground, as I find stairs difficult. This obviously didn't get passed on, as on arrival I had been allocated an upstairs room, but it was immediately and cheerfully changed. I was having difficulty walking, using a stick, and all members of staff went out of their way to be helpful and allow me to sit as much as possible. I had a very nice dessert in the pub, then went to my room, which was outside the pub, off a courtyard with outside seating. The room was lovely, bigger than I expected, tastefully decorated and warm with a separate bathroom. And a bath, always a plus in my opinion. The breakfast was a cold buffet, but plentiful and endless coffee. There was seating close to the buffet, which my bad leg appreciated. Carrying plates and cups with one hand occupied by a walking stick is always a juggling act!
Difficult to think of anything to complain about. The bath was a little higher off the ground than usual, but manageable. At least the bathroom was a reasonable size, laid out well. There's a train line right next to the pub, but I don't remember hearing it at all

The place had a unique charm — though it felt isolated, the bar inside the property brought a lively vibe with people buzzing around. The rooms were decently sized, well-equipped with all necessary amenities, and comfortable for our stay. The receptionist was warm and welcoming, making our check-in experience pleasant.
Our rooms were located on the first floor, and since there were no lifts, we had to carry our bags up a narrow staircase, which was a bit of a challenge. Also, the breakfast could have been better in terms of variety.

Lovely location in little village, room was large and tastefully decorated with neutral tones. Aircon/heat pump in room and a window overlooking the courtyard. Large bathroom with bath and over bath shower - water pressure was fantastic as was temperature. Big fluffy towels and toiletries provided. Large TV mounted on wall opposite the bed and a desk area with coffee/tea and water available. This room was better quality, more natural light and a lovely vibe to it than some 4 star hotels I’ve stayed it. I didn’t have the breakfast as I don’t tend to eat in the morning, but the dinner was fabulous. Hands down the best lamb chops I’ve had in my 11 years of living in the UK after migrating from NZ. Staff were on to it and attentive and friendly. Location to places like Swanage, Corfe Castle, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove all within 30-40 mins drive. I’d come and stay again!
Room was directly off the reception/lounge area and staff would use the little hallway outside the room for drinks (came out of room a couple of times to staff drinks on the windowsill right outside my room). Lounge area would be busy so you’d have to excuse past people to get to the room.

The Frampton Arms was a lovely, clean pub, that was dog friendly. Our room was in a courtyard slightly away from the pub, which was pleasant. The shower was AMAZING. It was only over the bath but the water was always hot and pressure fantastic. The Beds were very firm and sheets beautifully white and clean. The staff replaced towels and replenished milk and water when asked. The food menu was of a good variety and fairly reasonably priced. A nice pint of Doom bar, or Hancocks, along with Gins. The bar staff were very polite and friendly.
The rooms were a little small for a 5 night stay, and the air conditioning, although new, was noisy, especially when it was turned off.

The rooms were comfortable and decorated to a high standard. With ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, and air con included, it had all we needed for a comfortable night's stay. The pub itself was brilliant, and our dinner was absolutely delicious. The breakfast was a good selection of food and catered for all. Parking itself was easy to find and free. The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming.
Due to the proximity to Moreton train station and the railway line, the windows could have potentially be a little more soundproofed but apart from that, I had no issues with the stay.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The room was top notch for the price, with a decent size TV, air conditioning and heating and a decent, clean bathroom. there were tea and coffee making facilities, and a hair dryer in the room too. The continental breakfast was nicely laid out, the food was fresh, and it was tasty. Thoroughly recommend starting here if you're in that neck of the woods, but don't want the hustle and bustle of being in one of the larger towns.
really got to dig deep to find faults, but here goes! the toilet roll holder was wobbly. Trains run through the nearby station from wire early in the morning to fairly late at night. Closing the window blocks most of that out, but it's something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper and need a good, long sleep.
