I had a wonderful stay at this B&B! The room was not only very comfortable but also beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, it felt like home right away. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, fresh and varied, the perfect start to the day. The hosts were warm, welcoming and attentive, which made the whole experience even more special. A true little gem that I can highly recommend, I would love to come back!

Firstly, Barton Cottage Bed and Breakfast was immaculate, the style was lovely, clean, warm and cosy. The style was great, the size was great, the food was great but probably the best part were the owners. They were so accommodating, the breakfast was amazing. We were probably a more complex customer bringing with us a dog, baby and toddler. Louisa and Tom accommodated for us so well, our dog was allowed which was a plus but they even catered for two small children. I didn't tell Louisa I was a coeliac because usually I can work around this, but she went out of her way to have something for me when she found out, even after I told her not to worry, she was so thoughtful and accommodating!

Louisa is an amazing host that makes you feel so welcome. The room was huge and had a small outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy a drink. Her local knowledge was very helpful and it felt as though you were staying with a friend. The breakfast was great and there was a huge choice. I can see why this property gets such a high rating

We have visited the area for the last few years and this is definitely the best property we have stayed at. The location was perfect for our purposes and was a really good find; an extremely comfortable and spacious room. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. Louisa gave us lots of information about the area to help us make the most of our stay. A choice of breakfast options were offered and were fab. Louisa is an excellent cook!

Gorgeous thatched property and we were welcomed warmly by Louisa. The room was lovely, beautifully laid out, welcoming and full of character. The pub, the black dog, was easy walking distance for our evening meal and our cooked breakfast in the morning at Barton Cottage was delicious.

It was a really lovely stay in the beautiful thatched Barton Cottage, the garden room was very pretty, clean, roomy, fresh milk and filtered water in the fridge and home made snacks, all made it very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious, all local produce and cooked in the family kitchen where you were made to feel welcome. Tom and Louisa were so welcoming, would highly recommend if anyone is passing through this lovely village.

Everything! The communication was amazing from the start! The house is so beautiful, Louise and her family were so welcoming, we arrived in the late evening and had no trouble with getting in! The room was very clean and extremely comfortable and had everything we needed.

The fact we were only staying for one night as it was so lovely.

Everything was so good. Louisa was exceptional with her delicious breakfast, very friendly, and a warm welcome through out the stay. My girls even loved the company of Purdy....I will certainly be staying here again....they made our stay most memorable.....the vibe of dining room is so fantastic....

The cottage was lovely. Clean, comfortable and a hosts were great and helpful. Also had a fridge with water and milk for adding to the coffee machine. Extra points for the great breakfast and the dining room. It was a great experience
