Location excellent. Quiet and easy to reach the coast. Breakfast very good. We were upgraded and room was amazing. Lovely balcony and comfy bed, comfy sofa. Tea and coffee in room. Nice bath. Shower awful as v poor water pressure. Outdoor pool was not heated but we had lovely weather so very refreshing. I would have liked it a little warmer but husband thought it fine! We had nice suppers there. Food good although vegetables varied. 2 days lovely and 2 days veg were roasted and greasy, not very nice. Staff very nice, always helpful especially the waitresses and reception.

Shower awful. Vegetables at meals were lovely, fresh and nice on 2 days but not good on others.

Was inviting and clean. Was given an upgrade on arrival, bonus. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Large french windows overlooking well-kept grounds. Very quiet and peaceful and added bonus was an owl lulling me to sleep.

If I was being very picky, the wooden bathroom toilet roll holder and toothbrush holder didn't match the beautiful bathroom. My biggest complaint was breakfast. Was not good at all. Hardly anything left, and what was left was far from appetising.....ok, so it was 9.30 (I had a lay in as I'd travelled far the day before). Breakfast finished at 10! But still. I'd expect more on offer. No Greek yoghurt, only a couple of toffee flavour. Only two plain croissants left, no other pastries. Only defrosted frozen berries left. One sausage left. Eggs looked disgusting, both fried and scrambled. Couldn't find the milk for cereal? It was very noisy too.

The spa is lovely, especially the jacuzzi, the pool and the sauna. The garden is incredibly beautiful. Both the front and the rear one. The breakfast was great, you have to try the mushrooms! Dinner was nice as well. The bed was so comfy. We were in love with the quality of the mattress. They give you bathrobes and slippers and one of the bathrobe was a L comfortable enough to completely cover me - I am a size 24UK The quality of the towels is great, they are fluffy and absorbent . The bathtub was gigantic and the water pressure in the bathtub was perfect. Everyone is very kind and helpful, they absolutely go the extra mile in order to help people staying at the hotel. I felt welcomed and safe, it was great.

Nothing major, I think the breakfast could use some more continental options, the shower pressure was a bit weak and the shower or the bathtub could use an extension arm, it would help a lot especially for people who have any kind of movement impairment. In the pool area we would suggest to add some hooks for the bathrobes (all the beds were Full and we didn't know were to leave ours) and to move the water station inside next to the sauna and the steam room. There was some soil on the pool surrounding, probably coming from the garden, it was especially becoming muddy and slippery next to the jacuzzi, maybe that is something to check on more often.

The lower review were bwcauses we were initially standard room. We stayed for my birthday arriving at 3pm. We were advised all pool facilities will close at 17.30 for maintenance We travelled a long way for these in particular and had called a few days in advance to be advised they closed at 9pm. The standard room struggled to stay connected to wifi and aas on the small side Staff were very kind and upgraded us a to a beautiful executive room, which had wifi; as spacious and had a balcony. This was very appreciated after finding out we could not use facilities

The grounds and swimming pools were nice . although we did not use them on this stay. The hotel upgraded us to an Executive Room which was spacious, had a balcony and a lovely bathroom with bath and shower. The buffet breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold food but we did not eat there in the evening. The staff were friendly and helpful

The Breakfast tea and coffee was from an all purpose self serve machine. It was acceptable but the coffee was not great and the hot water temperature was too low to make a good cup of tea

We have been before and it has such lovely grounds, and a lovely heated outdoor pool. The bedroom with a lovely balcony was so clean and large and peaceful even in the school holidays.

The indoor spa was being refurbished ( in August ??? ). Fortunately the weather was wonderful so we didn’t need it but that was one reason we booked because we can’t rely on English Weather. The Hotel now is looking a little tired needs some TLC

Great location, very close driving distances to attractions like Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Swanage and Wareham town centre. The pool, sauna, swimming pool, steam room and gym were brilliant facilities. The pool and gym stay open until 9:30pm which was a bonus as we were out all day at nearby attractions so we still got to use them all. Our room was very clean, the balcony overlooked the pond area out the front of the hotel which is pretty. We got upgraded very quickly as the hotel was having some issues with the water system so we were well looked after. The bath was huge in the upgraded room. Country style, not modern but charming. Staff were very nice and helpful. The food we had (evening meal and breakfast) were both very tasty. Plenty of free parking. Overall we would stay here again!

The shower head in our executive room was incredibly old, could do with updating, took me a long time to wash my thick hair. The dining room we had our evening meal in is small, so if there are loud groups of guests in there, it is a very noisy environment. I couldn't hear my partner across the table. Not the hotels fault just highlighted for guests with sensitivity issues, may be worth eating out in the town. Under floor heating the bathroom could do with being turned off in the summer months.

It’s a Little dated the balcony furniture is a let down. The staff are wonderful. They a welcoming and helpful! The rooms are clean and the little snacks with coffee and tea are sweet. The breakfast is nice so is setting but again could do were a refresh. Same for the spa a bit dated but it is still nice. Also parking is fabulous so much space.

beautiful room with huge bath and separate shower. super friendly staff, good location with easy parking. Amazing facilities including squash and tennis courts, snooker and darts room, good size swimming pool, steam room . Good cooked breakfast.

NO FRIDGE. Surround of indoor pool...chlorine from pool water reacting with cement grouting, hence cement slurry around pool. Very unpleasant, slippery and corrosive on feet. Recommend wearing flip-flops. Would have liked croissants or rolls with continental breakfast.

The swimming pool area was a bit grubby on the floor. The signage in Spa is not clear for people who are short sighted and are likely as my wife was to be walking around without her specs. There was no clear signage in the men’s changing room indicating that to access the Spa you have to go via way of the pool. I wound up walking by up and down in the corridor outside trying to find it!
