Rooms were spacious, tidy and came well equipped (kettle and tea/coffee, iron, hair dryer, TV, heating and fan). The staff were brilliant and extremely friendly (especially to our 8 month old puppy). We had dinner there twice and breakfast was amazing - tea/coffees, breads and good selection of cooked foods. There was live music in the patio on the Saturday and the vibe was really good. They have plenty of onsite parking, and the number 31 Jurassic Breezer bus stop is a short walk away (bus to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, as well as Wool rail station)
Only thing is the soundproofing isn't the best and the pub closes at 11pm so bring ear plugs.

A gorgeous inn centrally located to several fantastic tourist attractions. Meals were outstanding. Staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A huge shout out to the maitre d who was exceptionally attentive. Couldn't have been better looked after. Wonderful touch of chocolates and small bottle of bubbly for my partners birthday.
Sadly, the bathroom decor in our room let the place down. Peeling paint, mildew in tile grouting and rot around skirting boards. It did not spoil our stay but we would really recommend it be looked at and fixed. The price of £154 for the night needed to reflected in the finer room details.

Such a beautiful place just off of the road and set back in a lovely quiet spot. Very friendly staff and a beautiful room with plenty of space and facilities. I love the fact that I had my own room off of the main double room. Would be a great room for families with small children. Bonus is that they are dog friendly as well so I will be returning here with mine. Very nice food at a reasonable price and a good selection of drinks etc available. A really nice breakfast with help yourself to cereals, toast, tea, coffee etc and your main hot food order was taken and served fresh to your table. A good selection from the menu.
I couldn’t find anything negative

The staff were amazing and friendly. Room was cozy and good sized, easily accessible from the pub below. The food there was amazing, we enjoyed the meat-pies much more than the ones we got in London! Shower was great size compared to our other stays during the trip. There is a outdoor space to drink from the pub as well that is beautiful and scenic. Just a 10 minute drive to Bovington museum and the castle. We would stay here again!!!
kettle in our room had a lot of limescale which wasn't usable but not much of a bother as they offer tea right downstairs. Depending when you want to retire for the night there is some noise from the pub downstairs but nothing a little white noise couldn't drown out and it stopped by 0100.

We had an evening meal on the Friday and it was beautiful presented and tasted lovely. The lady who looked after us on the Friday was so lovely. The gentleman who was front of house at breakfast time was so warm and friendly . We will definitely be back if we are in the area. Can't recommend this place enough. Thank you for making our weekend even more special.

Fantastic staff, and the pub had a lovely atmosphere. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable with good quality linen and pillows. Everywhere scrupulously clean. Plenty of storage available, which was welcome. There was plenty of hot water, and I thoroughly enjoyed wallowing in the bath! The Countryman is super dog friendly, even providing a sausage for breakfast for our two - much appreciated by them!
The bathroom was a little tired and in need of updating, but that really is a minor complaint.

We liked the size and decor of our room which had both comfort and style. Staff on our arrival where helpful and friendly, allowing us to leave our bags in the room we were being allocated before it was ready and long before check in time so we could attend a motorcycle event without paniers on etc. The pub itself has a large beer garden and if you had children with you, a nice play area for them but still allowing enough space for people without children to enjoy the space too. There was a group playing on the afternoon/evening of our arrival which was an added bonus while sitting outside enjoying a beer. We booked a meal in the evening which was good, and not over priced. Good selection of wines also available, again at fair prices. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We did have a bit of a wait for our meal but the bar and restaurant were very busy so to be expected.
Water pressure in the shower, needs to be increased.

The property is set in a lovely quiet, rural location and is a stunning old building. The main dining area is spacious and has a cosy area along with a games room. The outside garden area is huge and and to the front a large parking area. The menu has a sensible variation of choices and the food was very nice. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
The breakfasts on offer were lovely, but could have done with a bit more variety like pastries, but that is just me! The accommodation rooms were spacious, but were very tired and in desperate need of updating. Having two single beds pushed together with mattresses that were not comfortable created a sharp ridge in between them, meaning not much cuddling up!

We stayed for a couple of nights over half term. It's a very nice property and our room was large, with a separate section and sofa bed for our daughter. The whole place had a lovely feel, the staff could not have been nicer and more helpful and the location was perfect for exploring the coast and Hardy country. We did the tank museum, Athelhampton House, Chesil Beach, Lulworth Cove and Durdle door in the two and a bit days we were there. Food is good and breakfast was great. Highly recommend.
There was a delay with dinner on one of the nights, but this was due to staff cancelling at the last minute and was handled well with offers of drinks on the house. Not their fault and they did what they could to mitigate.

the triple rooms (family) x 2 that we booked were spacious, clean and tidy. the bed and pillows were really comfortable. The food both on the evening and at breakfast were exceptional to another level. all four of us were very pleased. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
The ceiling height in the shower is low due to it being a loft room. 6ft 1 inch person is ok but a 6ft 5 inch man was a little awkward in the shower which is over a bath.
