The property is absolutely beautiful! The main house is stunning set within immaculate garden areas. It also has chickens in the yard which are super cute. We got some freshly laid eggs to take home! There is also an area where you can relax looking out to the gorgeous countryside. Where we stayed is so so beautiful, we had our entrance where you go upstairs and have the bedroom to the left and bathroom to the right. The room itself is a fabulous size, the decor is beautiful. You can see how much has gone into this area, with so many artistic touches as well as providing everything we needed. The bed is super comfy and the bathroom is stunning with a huge shower unit with 2 shower heads. We felt so comfortable as well as peaceful. We had a table and chairs too so great for sitting down to eat breakfast instead of being all cramped at a normal hotel room. There’s also things like iron/board, fridge, smart tv, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, shampoo/conditioner/soap all provided in the shower as well as fresh milk in the fridge. There’s also plates, bowls cutlery etc. Breakfast was left outside our door early in the morning so that was lovely to find when we woke up. It’s a continental breakfast with croissants, pan au chocolate, cereals, fruit and yogurt as well as fresh orange and milk. All super clean too. I cannot recommend this property enough, we will definitely be back!

Nothing!! We loved everything. If we had to suggest anything it would be to add a microwave in the room. We had a fridge but had to buy cold food whereas we would of preferred to have bought hot types of food to eat in our room. Another suggestion would be to put some garden furniture such as one of those sofa sets with a table into that large space next to the front door as we found that area very empty. But like I said, everything was amazing and we’ll be back!

The property is so beautiful. We had everything we needed in our room and it was nice and warm in the evenings (we were worried it being February!). The room was spacious and the bed is so comfortable. A breakfast hamper was delivered to our door in the morning (very quietly!) and it was delicious. The location was perfect for us - we went to Dorchester for our first night and got a takeaway on our second night and spent a day at monkey world. We met the hosts who were so lovely and welcoming and made us feel so comfortable.

Absolutely nothing!

The very spacious bedroom included a table and chairs, kettle with tea, coffee and sugar, and plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery. Breakfast was delivered to our door in the morning in a basket containing a good continental breakfast which we ate in our bathrobes (supplied) at the table. Separate bathroom had a large shower. We were greeted upon arrival by very friendly hens!

Pillows were lumpy but not too uncomfortable. The bedroom was adjacent to a "B" road running past the property, which was busier than one would expect and the fast traffic was easily discernible. We only met Tracy and Martin as we were getting in our car to leave so, while a pleasant and enjoyable stay, it would have felt more welcoming to have seen them during our overnight stay.

Lovely location, friendly owners, helpful, caring. Product was in great condition everything felt new and to a high standard and classy. It had character and was cosy too.

The bathroom needed a simple lock or sign to indicate in use, occupied. Whilst the room had its own front door and staircase from the farm courtyard, the bathroom was separate to the room and was across a landing that had doors adjoining from the main farmhouse that appeared to be locked and private. However when using the toilet or shower it was difficult to feel 100% confident that someone wouldn’t walk in on you. A simple lock would have taken care of this.

The apartment was exactly as described and very comfortable indeed. The breakfast basket delivered in the morning had more than enough food including fruit, cereal and pastries with plenty for later as well. Very good shower, plenty of hot water and the bed was very warm and comfortable. 4 full size pillows too. There is a wardrobe if required, a small dining table with two chairs, central heating in the colder weather but also an electric radiator and a tower fan if required. We didn’t bother with the television but saw you could use your own Netflix login if desired or just watch internet channels. Some books provided if you forget your own. The soft robes were a lovely touch. The fridge and tea/coffee making facilities were much better than you usually get in most hotels. We could have sat outside in the garden had we wanted with the occasional visit from the owners chickens or friendly dogs. The car park was spacious and very close to the front door of the apartment. Our hosts were very accommodating to our request for full fat milk instead of skimmed. We came down to visit Monkey World which was only a short drive away. We found pubs which both served food, a co-op, a petrol station and very good farm shop next door which was not that far away. Also a good fish & chip shop in Wool village and another co-op. Due to recent illness we wanted a restful time and this is exactly what we got. Thank you Tracy and Martin

Even if we didn't meet our hosts in person, we felt very welcomed. Everything was very clean, the spacious historic rooms were beautifully decorated and the atmosphere was great. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast and the best coffee I have ever had in England!!! We were both sorry we didn't book more nights, so we would love to come back!

It would be nice to have something salty for breakfast, like cheese, but all in all, everything was great. Thank you for your hospitality ❤️

In a perfect location for the tank museum. Really clear instructions with how to access our apartment. Beautiful setting. Lovely decor. Comfy bed. The robes provided were a luxury addition. Breakfast basket delivery was the cutest touch. Great selection of foods. Made full use of the kettle and water machine. Bathroom was huge and loved the large powerful shower. Great having a hairdryer in the room. We enjoyed our chat with one of the hosts Martin and meeting their dog and chickens :)

A mini sink in the kitchen area would have been handy to be able to wash up properly the utensils we used. It wasn’t a big deal, we just rinsed in the bathroom. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like! Loved our stay.

Would be a lucky Dairyman who lived in a room like this at Wannock Farm. The cottage is recently refurbished with all the mod cons you might expect including a shower big enough to hold a party in! The location is an ex-farm - the current owners only own a small acreage - but there are cows in the field next door and lovely looking chickens 'chattering' in the yard (so drive with care!). Wannock Farm is about 7 miles east of Dorchester and easy to find located just opposite a watercress farm. Heading north up the road you go past the Frampton arms, over a railway track and 3 bridges before it comes up on your right. However there are numerous B roads that take you there so take your pick.

The breakfast hamper was original and I enjoyed the fruit every day (we don't get bananas like that in our supermarket!). However Martin and Tracy might like to consider offering a bit more choice e.g. bread and cheese. Just a thought and I know that I am particular with my food.

The breakfast was excellent with pastries freshly baked, and fruit and a wonderful selection of things for breakfast, delivered to the bedroom door in a basket. The rooms were spacious, with a brilliant shower which is a joy after so many very small shower cubicles in the UK. Lots of facilities such as tea and coffee, and milk and filtered water on hand. Lovely decor.

Nothing at all to complain about, but it is important to note the suite is up very steep and narrow stairs so if someone had a mobility problem it would be difficult to access. It is a historic building so this can be expected..

The room was spacious. The shower room was also spacious and the towels were very nice The bed was comfortable.. the location was excellent for visiting Corfe, Weymouth and Portland.

We personally like our croissants warm. So it would be nice to have either a microwave or toaster in the room. Appreciate breakfast delivered in a basket but our preference is to have something warm for breakfast. We are not familiar with sky TV so we struggled with the TV a few more instructions would be helpful for people like us.
