Lovely,helpful and friendly host. Really clean. Place. Small but it’s all you need for a short trip. Gorgeous location. It was a lovely self-contained unit with freedom to come and go and parking. Great place. Enjoyed stay very much.

Didn’t like? That’s too harsh. Only thing for us was being tall was banged our heads a fair bit on the low ceilings and cramped in shower. But we knew those things when we booked. It was such good value that these things are just part of it. You make your choices and it was a good choice.

I have absolutely no complaints about this property even as a 6ft 2 man it was not as akward as I thought

The location was absolutely beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. It was exceptionally clean. There was a ready supply of fresh water in a carafe, fresh milk, tea and coffee. Sue, the owner was lovely.

Immaculately presented, fabulous hosts and the perfect location from which to run, walk and explore. Hardys Monument, South Dorset Ridgeway, Weymouth and Dorchester all only a stones throw away.

Sue was very welcoming and really helpful answering questions before our stay. Friend's wedding at Upwey house - walking distance and the room was so perfect for our weekend stay.

Sue & Paul were absolutely amazing hosts. They are always on hand if you need anything. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness. We will 100% be booking again.

Low ceilings due to the shape but manageable and tight shower space but again manageable

This was lovely for our short stay, and location was perfect. We had everything we needed and the room was very clean and comfortable. Super hosts took very good care of us. Really appreciated having a mini fridge, it's such a thoughtful touch.

An attic room so the small bathroom may not suit tall people.

The lodge was beautifully decorated and the host was very pleasant and helpful.

It was hard to find the location in the evening as it was quite rural and no signs at the property that would stand out. There was a sign at the entrance but small and easy to miss.
