Kingston Country Courtyard is an amazing place to stay. It exceed all of our expectations. Not only is it located in a peaceful undisturbed area but overlooks magnificent views. The accomadation is of a high standard and well serviced. The breakfast is outstanding with a variety of options. The management and staff were very accommodating to all our needs and always cheerful. Excellent standard of service was provided throughout our stay.

There was nothing we did not like about Kingston Country Courtyard. However (in my opinion) I think the menu could be enhanced by the inclusion of a dressed salard with the added options of i.e. Cheese, Ham, Jacket potato etc.

We booked a One-Bedroom Suite which was clean and comfortable. Stunning location and views. Our package included BB&D and was good value. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Unfortunately our bathroom was set up as a wet room and when we used the shower the whole room flooded as the drain was obviously blocked. The staff came over immediately with loads of towels, mopped up etc and even offered to get us another room although we were checking out that day. We both chose steak for dinner which was nice but unfortunately mine was quite fatty and grisly. Suggestion: It may be nice if they had a separate bar area that you could relax in after your dinner - the bar at the moment is located inside the restaurant. You can have drinks sent to your room but its not always what you want.

Good location, friendly staff, good breakfast, easy parking, good price

Being a cold day mid March, room was a bit cold in the evening - especially being a stone floor and a large room. The radiator struggled to heat it adequately. Ideally also needed another bedcover as it was quite a thin quilt on the bed. Only one mirror and nowhere near a socket so you couldn’t see what you were doing when drying your hair, and in fact, generally a lack of convenient sockets eg also to plug in phone chargers etc. The food was ok in the restaurant but the restaurant itself lacked warmth and cosiness- am sure it would be very different in summer.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was perfect for us and our dog. Loved the location - stunnig countryside, and wonderful breakfast. The location was ideal for us as we wanted to walk, see the coast and visit Corfe Castle.

Our bed was so uncomfortable - we really didn't sleep well and I had back ache the next morning. We really aren't fussy guests but this was truly the most uncomfortable bed we have slept in. It woud have been helpful to have more places to hang wet coats by the door as one small hook on the back of the door was not enough for 2 coats and they were still wet the next morning. Our shower head kept falling out of its holder and the shower caddy was not in the best place as we kept knockig it with our elbows every time we moved in the shower! Lovely to have a heated towel rail but a separate large towel rail as well would mean we could have spread both towels out to dry and also give somehwer to put the hand towels - all a bit cramped on the heated towel rail.

We stayed a couple of nights to go hiking. The room was very pleasant with a nice view into trees, the large bed was extremely comfortable. We valued the sustainable features at the property. Dinner on our first night was exceptionally good and we were impressed with the menu both days.

Unfortunately on our second night, the dinner service was a bit slow. For visitors who want to go walking, it would be nice if there were walks directly from the property, which should be possible by using the edge of the neighbouring field.

Cozy country place with lots of outdoor space - gorgeous views from the garden! Stone buildings were beautiful and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much of an ask and even gave me decaf tea when asked with fresh milk.

The drain in my en suite smelt but only in the bathroom even with the door open. The blinds had a chunk missing off the top slat - although it did not hinder privacy (and the very top slat is loose). Touch lamps - but look like wooden ones so I initially thought it wasn’t working

Overall setting lovely with outdoor tables in courtyard. Location was perfect for what we wanted. Staff were very friendly and always helpful. The restaurant was excellent for both evening meal and breakfast. Room and bathroom were clean.

The room was fairly basic but nice and clean. We didn't really like the wet room format as not very practical (everything gets wet using the shower), which felt a bit unnecessary as the room was set on two floors.

Being a single Mother, having breaks away with my young Son can be quite daunting. The staff here were exceptional. The Lady on reception was very friendly and helpful and the staff on shift in the restaurant were wonderful. My Son has behavioural challenges and they were very accommodating to him.

The menu for the restaurant had Gnocchi on it when we visited. I had the gnocchi and the sauce and mushrooms were lovely, but the gnocchi appeared like, and had the constancy of garlic bread.

Love the location. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed walks from the property to Swyre Head. Great view from the garden. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. Great value half board deal. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay, but the only downside was the wet room stayed wet for a long time! The shower is over the toilet which isn’t ideal. We have stayed before, in a one bedroom suite and would look to stay in the better room again if it was available.

The location high up in the Purbeck Hills is magnificent. The restaurant is excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Being outside of town the place is very peaceful and quiet, yet within easy reach of attractions such as Corfe Castle and the steam railway and of towns such as Swanage and Wareham. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful and seem to want you to enjoy your stay. The views from the hotel gardens are superb.

The weather! But I can't blame the hotel for that. Really, I could not think of anything that might have been better. The only hiccup was that the TV in the room I was booked into did not work, so they gave me an upgrade to another more spacious room.
