We were greeted on arrival by the owner, he couldn’t be more welcoming. Loved the Art Deco theme in public areas. We had room 10 on first floor which was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast freshly prepared to order, served on hot plates. Also full selection of self serve cereal, fruit, yoghurt and fruit juices. Extra pillows in room and made full use of fan due to high temperatures but slept well. Loved the extra touches, gorgeous cookies daily in room and a good selection of toiletries.
If anything we like a bath and didn’t have one. That said it is not a deal breaker and we will definitely be back.

We were called by the owner to align on our arrival time and were later welcomed at the location. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Both the beach and the city center are at walking distance. Parking space is at the private property of the hotel, so I could safely park my motorcycle at night. The owner was very helpful in making sure it was in a good, safe spot. Breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruits, yogurts, juice, full English breakfast, coffee, etc. The room was spacious with a nice high ceiling and a large, clean bathroom. The location is quiet and we had a good night's sleep.

Jamie is a fantastic host and cooks the most wonderful breakfasts! Our room was lovely, and cleaned everyday, which we wasn't expecting. There are also the little touches, which make a huge difference. Staying at the Cavendish, was like staying with family. You couldn't really ask any more. When we find ourselves next in Bournemouth, we will be booking here! Thank you so much Jamie, Lee and all the staff for making our visit exactly what we needed.
There was nothing to dislike. Everything was lovely.

A beautiful cosy hotel run by the fabulous Jamie and Lee. It felt like a home from home with a lovely spacious room with beautiful decor. A brilliant location for beach and town and breakfast was superb 👌. Jamie was the perfect host in the breakfast room and Lee the fabulous chef. Both Jamie and Lee were so happy and welcoming hosts with knowledge of the area and recommendations. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you both for a lovely relaxing stay. Kim & Darren

The basics were all covered. The room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. Guests have an allocated fridge space, which is a great bonus. Ours contained an embarrassing amount of Gin, Tonic and wine. Breakfast was spectacularly good and varied. However, what really makes this place special are the hosts, Jamie and Lee. They work tirelessly to ensure everything is perfect and still manage to maintain a joyous sense of humour and disposition towards guests. My favourite little treat was that Jamie would make subtle improvements to the room and common areas. It appeared to be my task to identify them and woe betide me if I failed. I'd get that look!
The only thing we didn't like was leaving.

It’s tempting to wax lyrical about the Cavendish, there is much it can rightfully brag about. Easy to find, with on site parking, and located close to the town and the seafront. It is appointed to a very high standard, with elegant and subtle touches throughout, more worthy of a four star hotel than a traditional B&B, it is spotlessly clean and quietly comfortable. The breakfast room was easy to find, well presented and the breakfast was superb. Thoughtful touches included freshly prepared fruit pots, yoghurts, bottles of water and jugs of milk in the fridge, delicious on a hot morning. The cooked breakfast menu is simple and unpretentious, and the choices are excellent. The food is freshly prepared and arrives hot and delicious. Jamie is an attentive, but not intrusive host, who welcomed us warmly as we were parking, by the time we left the following morning we were well rested, well fed and eager to return for a longer stay. We arrived as new guests but we were treated with a level of care that made us feel like regular returners. In a town that is awash with places to stay, the Cavendish has achieved the distinction of being head and shoulders above the rest. The host’s genuinely care about their guests, and provide a wonderful combination of hospitality and personality rarely found these days. The ratings don’t lie. Try it you won’t be disappointed.
Nothing.

Superb breakfast with very fresh ingredients and a good choice My husband chose the full English breakfast and was delighted as it was well cooked and served on a warm plate . Jamie and Lee are very good hosts and we do recommend the hotel .
We cannot fault anything as the room and bathroom were always very clean The road was a bit noisy at the weekend but we got used to it

The people who run it, the bed, the breakfast. Jamie and Lee were both so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was superb with lots of good quality food to choose from. The room was tidied every day for our 4 night stay and kept very clean.
Traffic noise, but this was simply solved by closing the windows and using the supplied fan.

After looking at the reviews on the Cavendish all we can say is that everything about the Cavendish could not be faulted. On arrival after a long car journey, we were very impress with the outside appearance and location. We were met by Jamie who was really friendly and shown to our room (5). Excellent room very clean and all you needed. Breakfast was very good with a choice of options. We were looked after by Jamie who was very easy to talk to and helpful with any queries we had. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Cavendish if you are visiting Bournemouth. You will not be disappointed
Could not find fault with the Cavendish or the owner we would highly recommend.

The choice at breakfast was excellent. The full english was superb. Service was to the highest degree. Jamie and Lee were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The location was great for both the beach, walks and the shops. This is a must stay. The room was lovely spotless and comfortable. There was a lovely hospitality tray in the room. It was just purfect.
The only problem was having to come home from a fantastic hotel.
