Nice room at front of property so had a view. Excellent staff who were very friendly and worked well as a team Good breakfast selection as long as you asked as no breakfast menu on table. It was great to have some fresh fruit and yogurt as well as a cooked breakfast. Good local produce used, tasty local sausages and bacon. Staff were lovely and very accommodating and nice to see they were having a team meeting on day we left. Happy staff who have worked at pub for many years.

Bottles of Heinz tomato sauce and brown sauce instead of sachets which weren't great.

The staff were very accommodating, friendly, easy going and professional. The room was very airy and clean and has everything we needed. Very comfortable and very quiet which was great for getting a good night's sleep.

The television had no Bluetooth setting to connect to phone or phone mirroring and the standard tv channels had poor signal, so when we wanted to retire early after a long day of walking, we couldnt just curl up with a nice movie, that was the only downfall. Taking your own laptop or alike is advised if you want some down time. There is WiFi though.

It was across the road from fairy festival we were attending. Right in heart of the village. Lovely friendly staff. Nice and quiet. Had meal there first night, which was very nice. Rooms clean with fresh towels. It's our 4th year going there for the festival. Lovely to see the wild ponies roaming around the village

The second floor room had the eaves, so have to mind your head! Suggest a first floor room if you're tall! Mattress bit soft for me and I felt like I was going to roll off it when I moved.

What makes this a stand out property is the hospitality. The owner and other staff members were so friendly and acommodating it was lovely. Little touches like lending us a book on walks in the forest were appreciated. Everything was really clean. The food in the pub was great, in fact we ate there both evenings that we were there.

The room was on the small side with sloping eaves, so not ideal for taller folk. To be fair, we did know about this from other reviews, and how much time do you spend in the room anyway?!

Lovely country pub and welcoming staff. Comfortable bed. Refreshed ens suite with great shower and fluffy white towels. Breakfast excellent, order what you want and all cooked fresh. Really accommodating staff when we asked for a fan and checked in with us to see if all ok.

Our room had 'office type' vertical blinds which were tricky to operate and didn't really block much light. Could do with curtains. Road noise was also abit if a problem in the mornings.

Requested the day before for a 1st floor room due to an injured knee, which they kindly gave me and an upgrade too. Right opposite where the annual fairy festival takes place, so perfect place to stay. Helpful staff, nice room with coffee, tea and biscuits, plus 2 bottles of water. Breakfast nice and had gluten free bread option available. . This is my 3rd year staying here for the festival. Nice menu too and recommend eating here as had a bad experience at the pub just round the corner from there!

Only minor and personal preference, the mattress was just a bit too soft for me.

Everything about the Burley Inn was truly wonderful! The charming location, with “wild” horses walking by, the hands on owner, the staff (big shout out to hands on Manager Lucy!), the charming dining room (open to the public 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch & dinner, with daily specials), the authentic English menu (including the Full English breakfast, which is included!), the friendly & attentive service, the cleanliness of the room & the dining room, the modern bathroom (walk-in shower) - everything made us want to extend our stay & return, so we highly recommend it to others! You will not be disappointed!

There was nothing we did not like, or thought could be improved upon. And I’m quite picky.

We have stayed here 5 times in the past! Excellent get away from it all place as usual!!

Breakfast was a little disappointing this time round 😞 Bacon was a little under done ! Not a great lover of boild mushrooms ! No beans ! Brown bread was a bit bland ! Evening meal chips were a bit hard and under cooked ! The price to stay here has started to creep up so we are looking for a bit more all round satisfaction for our buck !!

We ate lunch and breakfast at the Burley inn that was very good. The room size was quite small as was the bathroom and there was a lot of stairs to get to the room, however it was clean and tidy with nice fresh towels and bedding. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful

I didn’t realise the rooms were going to be quite so small or sloppy, we were on the top floor and I understand the rooms on the floor down are bigger which would have been better for me as a knee replacement makes stairs a bit awkward. However that wasn’t the fault of the Burley inn I should have requested that.

Very friendly welcome, I was shown to my room by a polite young man who carried my bag. I was offered maid service, which was a real surprise. The room was a single attic room which was a little tight on space, but well thought out. It was extremely clean and breakfast was very good. The location was brilliant with easy parking.

Nothing. Shower gel would have been handy, I had two bottles of antibacterial hand wash and needs a wall mounted, long mirror.
