It was super relaxing and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, staff very welcoming and helpful.

The only thing we didn’t like was that our room was located on the other side of the hotel, so using the spa facilities we had to walk through the bar / lounge area in our robes.

The hotel’s setting is simply fabulous—surrounded by the beauty of the New Forest, it provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing escape. We were thoroughly impressed by the quality and range of the facilities, which exceeded all our expectations and truly enhanced our stay. A special word of appreciation must go to your staff, who were consistently friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Their warm welcome and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and made us feel completely at home throughout our visit. We would like to give particular thanks to ‘Sarah’?, who headed up the Conservatory Restaurant. Her professionalism and the way she handled all the guests with their food, was exemplary; she ensured every meal was a delight and every guest felt truly valued.

We stayed as a family of four. Room was comfortable and quiet. All the staff were professional, friendly and attentive. There were lovely touches for the children such as activity bags and milk and cookies in the evening. The restaurant for breakfast was excellent and a good selection on the menu. Dinner in The Conservatory was also excellent and good range including for children. We enjoyed the heated pool outside and being able to explore the grounds. Good location for exploring the local area and walks through the New Forest. The wellness spa made the stay relaxing. We loved it here and would visit again as a family Thank you!

The TV in the bathroom! The sound is very loud even on the lowest setting and the noise travels between rooms which is disruptive.

Rhinefield Manor is a truly beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds. The setting was very relaxed, if you’re lucky you’ll see the deer roaming adding to the charm of the location. The pond is home to some surprisingly friendly (and large!) fish, which made for a fun and unexpected encounter. The gardens are immaculately maintained and perfect for a peaceful stroll. Inside, the Grand Hall and the restaurant appear to have been carefully designed to reflect the original historic decor, adding a sense of grandeur and authenticity to the experience. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature with a touch of old-world elegance.

The hotel and grounds are very unique. The staff were all extremely kind. Nice small touches like free cookies and milk delivered to the room for our daughter. Breakfast was great. The location is settled in the heart of the forest and is extremely calm.

Small features and experiences restrict it from being a 5 star experience, which you would expect for the price of the room. E.g. alarm clock in the room went off at midnight, having to be in the room at a specific time for the cookie experience and the cookies arriving late. Having a walk into the forest which leads straight off the grounds would be excellent too - the recommended walks from the hotel first take you to a public car park with designated walks which are busy.

We started with an afternoon tea on our arrival with a glass of champagne which was very tasty. We couldn't eat it all so happily took some away with us. The room was lovely with a great view of the forest beyond. I had told the staff it was our 10 year anniversary and they had decorated the room and left us goodies and cards which was a very personal touch. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff were absolutely amazing.

We felt the hotel lost its sense of personality when we entered the new wing to our room. It was all a bit beige, which was a real shame as the essence of the building is completely different to that. The bar area felt a little too open when really we felt the original building's charm was its smaller spaces, complete with exceptional decoration. Shame that sense of charm was not in the new wing at all.

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of the New Forest. Lovely grounds and lots of areas to sit outside and enjoy a drink. The staff gave exceptional customer service. We had dinner in the Armada restaurant - the food was amazing and huge portions! Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a real luxury break.

We would definitely stay again but will go for an upgrade on the room. We stayed in a standard room which was very comfortable but a little dated. I prefer a walk-in shower rather than a shower over the bath. The lighting in the room wasn’t great, low lighting - very difficult to do your makeup!!

One of the highlights was the spa and leisure facilities, which were top-notch. The indoor pool, surrounded by beautiful views, was incredibly relaxing, and the treatments were heavenly. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were professional, warm, and attentive, creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. Whether for a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or simply some time to unwind, Rhinefield House Hotel offers a magical experience. We can't wait to return!
