We arrived early and were met by very friendly, helpful staff who invited us to check in early. The staff were ALL very friendly and helpful, always attentive to the guests and areas (making sure the tables were cleared promptly, etc). The room was very clean and spacious, with everything needed to make a comfortable stay. We had a party of 10 for a meal, again the staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and we all had a lovely time. It was lovely to be welcomed, daily, like old friends. We will definitely be back.

For our group of car enthusiasts a large, safe car park where our classic cars are safely stowed out of sight of a main road is the most important criteria when choosing our overnight accommodation and the White Rabbit fits the bill perfectly, which is why we return each year. We also need amenities within walking distance and again, the location is just perfect with a 5 minute walk to Lyndhurst village centre and all it has to offer. Staff were all lovely and extremely accommodating this year- it's a credit to them that they still managed to work with a smile through the mini heatwave we had as the building has little ventilation so was stiflingly hot! The gardens however were delightfully refreshing.

Public areas and rooms are a little tired and would benefit from some upgrading, however in such a huge, old building this would be a massive and very expensive undertaking.

I had a brilliant stay at the White Rabbit! The staff were absolutely brilliant and were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and spacious, bed was very comfortable and the heating was very effective in the cold January weather. The breakfast was great with some good choices both on the continental and the cooked menu. Location is excellent for walking in the New Forest too. Highly recommend this hotel and I would love to come back in the future! Thanks

The room (No.7) was spacious & light. The food (Breakfast and Dinner) was excellent and well priced. Staff were great, always smiling and very helpful. The White Rabbit is a lovely place to stay, & has a good outside area to sit out in and plenty of parking space. We would definitely stay here again.

Room No.7 was rather noisy as we looked out onto the main road & we were above the bar/lounge area where there door to the kitchen or wherever, kept banging loudly until the place closed. The main lighting in the room, could do with being brighter. We would stay here again, though would ask for a room on the other side. Having said that if only No.7 were available we'd take it.

We only booked for one night, and we were welcomed warmly by the manager when we arrived. The food and atmosphere of the dining room was excellent, and we were well treated by the dining room staff. The food for supper and breakfast was very good and there was a great variety to the menu.

The stairs were quite difficult to manage with our suitcases. However we managed because neither my wife or myself are frail and we had the strength to negotiate them. However this is a small point as we did not ask for any assistance.

Very nice architecture and location. The staff was nice and friendly, changed our family room to another suite in the back. We were worried about the noise since the family room is located next to the main road and there are only single glazed windows (we were there in the summer so the temperature was perfect for the time of the year, would be worried in the winter). Would come back.

A bit dated. The breakfast was not the best if you want something heartier (probably should have chosen the English breakfast). Some of the staff went above and beyond and others didn’t seem to care much.

The greeting was so kind and warm right as I arrived to the White Rabbit. The young man at the front desk was so welcoming, and offered to check me into my room even though I arrived a few hours early. I enjoyed a few meals at the restaurant downstairs. They are so considerate of food allergies. The sauvigon blanc and toastie was delish. The nearby park off Southampton and Beaulieu just off the main town drag was one of the most beautiful views and horses are everywhere. I also saw cows in the distance. It's a very picturesque place. If you want to go to any neighboring towns, I highly recommend getting a car bc even though Brockenhurst and other towns are a few short miles away, it's not walkable, and Ubers don't frequent that area much. Overall, an excellent stay!!!

Whole experience was wonderful the pub/hotel was welcoming and cosy (would been better with the beautiful fires being lit). We stayed for 3 nights and was welcomed by Bunny who through our 3 days there was super helpful,appropriate able and nothing was to much trouble. Food was lovely and pub was clean as was the rooms. We was surprised at how quiet it was being next to a main road but didn't hear the traffic. Great location great staff and great pub/hotel. We are already planning our next trip back :)

Only thing I would say was even though the rooms was clean and comfortable would benefit from a update as the windows were all condensate and carpets worn down and old. Shame as the pub was stunning would be nice to see the rooms updated the same.

I was given a smaller double room that suited my needs. The room had easy access to the hotel car park, and it was quiet. I was in the Lyndhurst area to explore the New Forest by foot as a volunteer Ramblers walks leader. The visit was to view interesting sights and recce' a walk (Lyndhurst-Brockenhurst loop) that will be walked in September'24. All were accomplished successfully. The food and service was excellent. The manager and staff were very helpful.

The Staff were exceptionally friendly, well mannered and very helpful with enquiries. Assistant Manager is a credit to his Manager 10/10. The food was of a high standard and well presented, and of course “Tasty”. The bedroom and bathroom were also clean. A nice comfortable bed, a great nights sleep. The Facilities within were of a high standard. Will be returning in the near future 👍👍
