Great location as I was visiting family in Bournemouth. Hotel had great facilities (I used the swimming pool which was small but a nice bonus). Didn’t have a breakfast so cannot comment on that.

There was one gentleman on the reception desk who was taking quite a long time checking in a family. There was another lady behind him on the computer who I thought could have come over and helped to reduce my waiting time to check in.

I only spent one night at Durley Dean and didn't have time to enjoy the swimming pool/sauna. However I had dinner at their restaurant and the food was lovely. I had to leave early so I couldn't have a proper breakfast, but they let me pick up a bowl of fruit and cereals while they were setting up the room. I was lucky to find a free parking slot on the street right behind the hotel - all the areas with yellow lines are free to park.

The dinner meals at the restaurant was very well presented and tasty. The sheets and towels were very clean (no stain marks as sometimes found in the hotels). Staff were helpful We loved the connecting room (with bunk bed for the kids) and two bathrooms. Within walking distance to the beach. Shower pressure very good at the spa The breakfast lady was pleasant and kind.

Swimming pool could a bit more kid friendly. My 2 year old could not reach the bottom with his feet and I had to hold him in the pool. Could be a buggy and disabled easy access to the building. Had to carry the buggy with the kids up the building. The lift was too narrow with the double stroller. But the staff kindly allowed to use their storage room where we could leave the stroller over night.

The staff were so friendly they let us use the restaurant facilities to feed our baby even though we were not eating there. The room was excellent, spacious with comfortable bed and bedding. Views from the room was also very nice. The pool was lovely, warm and clean. Air-conditioning were a life saver in the heatwave. Definitely great value for money!

Parts of the hotel feels a little outdated and run down like the lifts. Parking costs are a bit high. Accessibility for swimming pool was not great as no lifts. Bath Towels in rooms were not the best.

This hotel was wonderful. The room was comfortable and had good facilities. The pool was lush and wish we had used it more. Distance to the beach and town and a local shop was great. Buffet at breakfast was really well stocked with attentive staff regularly replenishing. We had dinner one night and that was also amazing. Our child wet the bed and we were embarrassed to tell them but they handled it professionally and discretely.

It would be useful to have mini fridge in a family room. We had to park around 5 mins away but car did feel very safe and the hotel did let us know in advance so we weren't surprised.

I had a compact double. This was a perfect room for me, one person. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a good size with a good, hot powerful shower, which in a cold day was particularly appreciated. Loved that I was able to control the temperature in my room on an individual basis. All the staff were very friendly, though there was one lady at reception who looked a bit fed up, as if we were bothering her to ask for towels for the pool. Lovely pool with only one other person in there- would not have been big enough if more than the two small groups of 2/3 who were there. Lovely breakfast. Hot, fresh and plentiful.

I came in September too and the VERY noticeable issue on both occasions, in the room and pool area, was the size of the towels. They are tiny. They did not even fit around my very slim daughter. They were MUCH TOO SMALL! I mentioned this last time. There is a bath towel per person so you could not even use two each per use. All the people in both parties I stayed with on both occasions pointed out this issue. The quality is good and this stay they were very soft (last time they were a bit scratchy but OK) but just too small. This really needs addressing ASAP as it is the only mar on our stay but is a significant one. In these colder months one really does need a big enough towel to retain one's body heat.

They charge u for parking also which is not fair and also price was little bit up.

I enjoyed my stay here. I used the sauna and pool after i checked out, and there was somewhere to store my luggage securely whilst i enjoyed the facilities. The room was small but fine for 1 person. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and well presented. Having air-conditioning was great as it was a hot night and it ran very quietly. I had forgotten my charger. The reception staff charged my phone whilst i used the pool. There was room service available, and though I didn't use it, it looked reasonably priced.

There was nothing not to like apart from the steam room that was broken.

Lovely stay, friendly helpful staff. Had a great time. Room very nice, well decorated and modernised. Grandchildren loved the swimming pool and we enjoyed the sauna and steam room Great spa facility, massage and facial superb Restaurant food was exceptional 😋

On two occasions my bed was not made with only the runner put on bottom of bed, one day the bin was not emptied. Then on the third day my room was properly serviced. £15 per 24 hrs for car park, but once parked we wouldn't dare move it in case our spot was taken and we couldn't re-park

Quite good location as it was near a bus stop, the hotel looked nice, the food was great, decent choice of drinks, facilities were good, it was clean, good lighting, staff were very nice, and the air conditioning unit was great.

It was a bit noisy, especially the extractor fan in the bathroom, which was very loud. It would be nice to have longer child free hours in the swimming pool, as kids took over. Hot food for breakfast was only served after 8am. The cocktail list was also very limited.
