Pleasant older house in fresh decorative order.Bed very comfortable. Good breakfast. Free parking nearby. 5 rooms so uncrowded. Quiet position and easy for walking into the town. Well located for trips and near some wonderful sandy beaches, especial Studland.⛱️ The Jurassic coast and visiting some lovely villages in the countryside. Owners friendly and helpful.

If eating out, it is a good idea to book the table as the restaurants are busy . They do not serve beyond 9 pm generally but this is normal for most of Purbeck, so not a complaint just advice. Food enjoyable! Good pubs also.

We had an amazing stay, the hosts were lovely and welcoming and always offered great local knowledge for places to visit. The breakfast was fabulous, continental, fresh fruits and eggs made to order. Location wise only a 10 min walk to the centre and even shorter to the sea front and station. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped with storage space, shower good and heating quick to warm. Would recommend and thank you for a great 5 nights, we would definitely stay again.

The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so nice, continental with fresh fruit, croissants plus eggs and mushrooms made to order. Area was very quiet, clean and tidy. Just a short walk to the beach and only 10 minutes to the centre. Lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Also bus station and steam railway in the centre. House was lovely and homely and our room spotlessly clean and cosy.

Sarah and Frazer are great hosts. We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived at Arbour House. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the seafront and town centre, with easy parking at the property. Our room was located at the front of the house. It was spotless, well furnished and maintained, and very comfortable. The room itself was well thought out in terms of layout and facilities with lots of extra touches including bottled water and biscuits. A great continental breakfast is served. All in all a wonderful visit. Thank you!

I can highly recommend Arbour House B&B. Sarah and Frazer made us very welcome, and our rooms, including bathrooms, were really comfortable and absolutely spotless. Breakfast was amazing – we chose poached eggs on sourdough (plus avocado when available) and the continental choices were just perfect, with a slightly different, fresh variety each morning - all very high standard. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach and no problems at all with parking, which was free. I think another visit is on the cards!

Quality of room , bed , bathroom and furnishings are first class . Sarah and Fraser are welcoming and super friendly hosts . Breakfast was really enjoyable .. high quality ingredients on offer .. plenty of fresh fruits and pastries , and a hot dish of your choice of eggs cooked to order. Location of Arbour House perfect for access to Swanage beaches , shops and restaurants. Easy parking too . We could come and go as we pleased throughout the day , which was really appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The host was welcoming and gave us advice on where we could visit during our stay. Breakfast was really lovely. There was a great selection of food (pastries, fruit, muesli, cereal, bread, smoked salmon, Spanish omelette etc) and she also brought us a toast with egg, avocado, etc. For others visiting, it isn't a full English but that suited me well. The room had a kettle and tea/coffee and biscuits. There was also a radiator which helped keep it warm in quite a windy area. The hot water in the bathroom was constant and we had no problems. Towels and shower gel/shampoo/conditioner provided. Bed was comfortable. No problems with noise. Bed was made each day and the room was clean. There was a smart TV with all the main apps necessary. The location was also good if you don't mind a 10 minute walk into the town, which was ideal for us as it was away from most of the

The room wasn't that big for two people but that couldn't be helped and we made ourselves cosy.

Arbour House is perfectly placed to get onto the beach, walk into town and get to the South West Coastal Path. Our room was immaculately clean and tidy, and you could tell that the hosts worked very hard to keep the rooms and the property as a whole in very good order.

It was a little expensive but we had booked at the height of the season so it wasn’t a surprise.

The property is in a perfect location. Quiet but only a 5 minute walk from the town and the beach. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hosts, Frazer and Sarah, couldn’t have been more pleasant. The breakfast was excellent.

The only tiny criticism was that the shower room was extremely small, with hardly enough room to turn around. But it was spotless and had everything we needed. We realise that it’s difficult to accommodate en-suite bathrooms in older properties.

The room and house were always spotless. Breakfast was a mix of fruit/cereals/meats/cheese and toast and eggs, all delicious! Owners were not only really friendly and accommodating, but had plenty of recommendations of the local pubs/restaurants and sites.

There was honestly nothing that we didn't like.
