Beautiful view and great breakfast

It would have been good to have better seating to watch television. Awkward to sit up in the bed due to sloping ceiling and metal headboard.

Keith welcomed us warmly. The property is out of the way, but in a most peaceful and scenic location. Our room was at the very top of the stairs. It had a small opening balcony looking over the farm, horses and distant fields. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom, though small, had a good shower. Folly Fields Farm is excellent value for money. Breakfast was prepared by Keith himself. He was very experienced, kind, a real gentleman, and made us some delicious scrambled eggs. He opened the wide concertina doors in the kitchen, making it a lovely place to eat breakfast.

I am tall, so the attic ceiling was a little low for me. Nevertheless the room was cosy and comfortable.

Room 2 - Attic room We had a most wonderful stay at this charming farm B&B just a short walk from the idyllic village of Yetminster. From the moment we arrived, the hosts (Keith & Pippa) were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms and home were spotlessly clean and had modern, well maintained bathrooms. In the morning we were treated to a delicious homecooked breakfast, served on a traditional kitchen table with a country view — the perfect start to the day. Our room offered a beautiful view of the countryside, and we loved waking up to such peaceful scenery. There are many walking routes. We chose Ryme Intrinseca and across to Chetnole. Not a soul to be seen on an Easter weekend! The evening before we enjoyed strolling down to the perfect country pub, The White Hart, just a short walk away, where the beer was equally delightful. Absolute classic country pub that is sadly becoming rare. There is a wonderful cafe in the village too, which provided tea, cakes and even made a takeaway for us. We truly couldn't have asked for a more relaxing getaway, especially at such great value for money and can't wait to return!

I'm 6' 2". The attic room was pretty cramped for me. Absolutely no complaints about that, I should've checked.

Keith has done a wonderful job maintaining this BnB. The location is peaceful, with ample parking, comfortable beds, and a decently sized bathroom perfect for a short stay. We especially enjoyed the wonderful vegan breakfast Keith prepared for us – he really makes you feel taken care of. At night, the sky comes alive with countless visible stars, a truly magical experience. A car is recommended, as the farm is situated in a rural area. However, it's not too far from Yeovil if you'd like to dine out ('Ask Italian' has good vegan options!), and the drive is quite pleasant.

Nothing at all. Dreaming about going back to enjoy the calm of the place.

The breakfasts offered were great - more on offer than I could want, including vegetarian options. Flexible and friendly owner - checked if things ok. Asked for feedback or if anything else needed. Good amount of interaction at breakfast, checking I had all I wanted alongside giving me space to enjoy quietly. Some helpful suggestions for getting to the village via a "back route" if didn't want to walk along the road without a pavement.

Location was a little more tricky for walking than I had expected. I found sloping roof (especially in shower room) a bit tricky and think someone a bit taller than myself might find difficult. Gave feedback that a "mattress topper" would probably improve comfort as I realise they would not necessarily know this themselves. Feedback gratefully received which I appreciated as I wasn't sure whether or not to comment on it!

A warm welcome from Keith. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and an ideal stop on my journey to London. I would have been happy to stay longer but had time constraints on the length of my trip.

I'm used to country lanes so although the road to the village was a bit busy, I was too tired to walk, but it wouldn't have presented problem. However, any one unused to walking in the country, please walk facing oncoming traffic, you're easier to see, and it's safer for pedestrian and driver. Amazing how many people don't and then complain!

Great location in the heart of Dorset. Immaculate, comfortable rooms, lovely hosts and yummy breakfast. Plenty of good pubs and restaurants in the area. Nice relaxing break away from the madness of London. Only one other guest room, so always peace and quiet and you will not feel crowded. Would happily stay again, well recommended.

A very warm & friendly welcome!.. The Farmhouse was delightful, warm, clean & very cosy. Breakfast was deliciously made by Keith from all local ingredients.. and I must say.. my Cheese & Mushroom omelette was the best I have ever had the privilege of enjoying! A real treat to meet & greet the Farmhouse animals too! Parking was good too.
