The room was very clean every day, the room was a bit small for a couple and the single room its small. The breakfast was a bit small. English breakfast, coffee and a glass of juice, £9.50. This is my opinion. There is no mini fridge and wardrobe for clothes in the double room. There is a wardrobe in the single room :). The shampoo is missing in the bathroom. The jacuzzi was not quite what I thought it would be, it only had 5 outlets, for 5 people. Otherwise it was good, the price-quality ratio was a bit expensive. The swimming pool was great . And the staff was excepțional. Thank you

Staff absolutely lovely and cant do enough for you. Location less than 15 mins walk to beaches and tons of amenities, lots of free parking round the hotel grounds. Good strong WiFi. Yes the interiors are but dated but who sits staring at walls on holiday ! Only 3 small things I would ask 1. Put child safety locks on windows or make them open upwards 2. Make the jacuzzi hotter 3. Fix the shower in room 26 as it wouldn't come hot sometimes and would take a while to sort Other than that, see you nezt year !

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nice grounds, pool is a nice bonus, the room was sufficient for our needs. Good location just over a mile to station and beach. The walk through the gardens along the stream to the beach was lovely. Nice playground just round the corner for kids. I was able to book last minute for a reasonable price.

A bit dated. Could do with more towel rails or similar, especially in family rooms where there are multiple people and they have been swimming, so have costumes and towels to dry out. Be aware you are only given a bar of soap, no other toiletries - luckily I spotted this on the info beforehand.

I very much appreciated the fact that the hotel's website was completely honest about it being an "older dated hotel". In that respect it exceeded my expectations. It worked out as £80.60 per night including an excellent full English breakfast for two people, which is the kind of value I was looking for. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Creaky beds and creaky floorboards from the room above, but I had expected as much and it didn't bother me because the overall value of the stay was good. (There are many more expensive hotels in the UK which suffer the same problems.)

A pleasant all round place with helpful staff. Decent value.

Not that convenient if you're on foot from the railway station. Don't make the mistake I did and try and walk along Wessex Way which looks like a direct line. It's the busy by-pass, has no paved footpaths and is very awkward to find your way off and on. You have to do a detour via the town centre. The hotel provides a helpful street map which you need in Bournemouth as nothing seems very direct! I had a noisy neighbour upstairs stomping around on the last night but that was just some twit who thought the rooms were totally sound proof.

We loved the pool, it was warm, open all day and a stones throw from the rooms. The staff were especially wonderful, kind and helpful. It's a wonderful hotel, it's huge. The family room we stayed in was massive and practically had 2 separate bedrooms with a glass door and sustains separating the kids space to ours. The bathroom was on the small side but it had a bath so that ticked our box! It's almost like travelling back in time with the decor and style and feel of the hotel but that's what gives it so much charm. We all thought it was wonderful to stay somewhere different for a cheap weekend away. The breakfast was great at £6 a child and £9.50 an adult. A choice of cereal/porridge and full English, tea, coffee, juices etc all bought over to you no buffet. We gave the waitress/bar lady a generous tip as she was so wonderful and hospitable, especially towards my young children. She even put the disco lights on in the bar and there choice of cd! They were very happy. All in all a great, spacious, fun stay. And excellent value for money. Thanks again We will be back !!!

The family room was large enough for us 3 friends down from London and lincolnshire for a funeral, staff very accommodating, we arrived early and were allowed in our room as it was ready so we could relax a little after our long journey, before heading off for the said funeral. The pool was great, very relaxing in the morning, well worth the money for an overnight stay

The tea and coffee facilities weren't safe. they were too close to a bed and even though it was a family room, only 2 cups and 2 glasses, this needs changing, the radiator couldn't be turned down, and the room was like a sauna. The shower was either hot or cold couldnt get it in the middle after trying for 10 minutes.

The property was clean and the staff were pleasant. Liked the fact that there was a pool, the pool was a good feature. The beds were also nice and comfortable.

We did have some noise next door, however this was quickly sorted once we spoke to security. The bar was also shut early (22:00), luckily we had brought a bottle of wine earlier which staff had kept to one side for us.

It’s a very quiet hotel which is nice, receptionist was lovely. The size of the room for the price we were very impressed with. We were staying there to go out for our friends 21st birthday and it was a nice easy walk back to the hotel even late at night.

We felt like the bathroom and the floor in particular wasn’t cleaned thoroughly as there was hair on the shower wall and in the bath. And a few bits on the floor like hair bands and stuff under the bed

l liked the swimming pool and jaquzzi although it wasnt working fully. l liked the free parking which was the main reason l chose the hotel actually. My boyfriend was already booked in anyway

some noise from residents and banging around but not a lot. Good job l wanted to get up in the morning as the coaches being started up woke me anyway! Obviously its a bit unfortunate that the road complete with road works was built after the hotel was built with a fly over going near the hotel. I am interested in booking a coach holiday visit probably with james kohli sometime maybe xmas time or next june will look into that,
